Wow! DI Junkers was great. Shawn came right on the time we agreed to. His manner was pleasant and accommodating. This place is a gem for affordable parts. Same convenience and professional environment of chain stores. Good quality used parts and friendly service. I was so fortunate to find this place when I did. After purchasing my alternator from them, they were able to find me a “dealer only” part for my used vehicle at another store but I opted to wait for them to get it to give them my business. They give you a fair warranty on the parts as well. I will always shop here first for my vehicles. Will went above and beyond helping me. He drove a long way, paid me cash, and got my title. Only to find that the collision shop where I left it had a car in the way. They wouldn't let us move it and when asked to get it out of the way, only blurted "We're on lunch!" Will graciously said, "It's MY car now. I'll take care of it. You just go on home." Couldn't ask for a nicer guy. I highly recommend his services. Thumbs UP!

My mom wanted to junk her car that had been sitting for over a year. She had a few concerns about the process but it was pretty straightforward. She only needed the title and the keys...A1 Abbeys came out same day to get the car. She signed it over--- they paid her for the car and that was it....they were very courteous and professional.I would definitely recommend this company.

I could not be any happier with my experience with GLR! I called at 9:30am, and my car is currently being picked up at 10:50am. Not only a super fast pickup, they offered me the best pricing from any scrapyard within 25 miles (I called quite a few). The gentlemen I spoke to on the phone had great customer service and was beyond friendly. The driver himself was also friendly and gave a call with a timeframe when he would arrive.10/10 recommended to anyone trying to get rid of a junk car 😄

Didn't tell me until everything was done that they couldn't pay me in cash, only by check that had to be mailed, even though I called them and asked if I either be able to get paid. I needed gas money, only reason I brought in my copper. Drove 7 miles from my work, wasting that gas. Attitude was pretty much go somewhere else and not my problem. Won't be coming here again. They were nice as they had to be. They did have a sign about that, but only saw it after I was done being weighed and checked out. They should have that sign posted by the scale.

I needed to replace the wheel on my car. I have an older vehicle and wasn't sure I would be able to find a match, as my car still has the factory rims. Called the Ferndale location first.. They referred me to this location. I spoke with Kevin and he found the wheel I needed. This made me very pleased cause I didn't want a mismatched wheel. Also, Kevin's service was top notch. He was knowledgeable and kind.. He had me laughing at his sense of humor. A total character. To the owner, you have an awesome employee in Kevin. He deserves a raise! 💜😉

From what we can tell, the price we paid matches the work that was done, . However, it took 7 whole days to get my car serviced. My husband called the shop daily starting on day 2, and each time, we were given the run around. We dropped the car off with a specific issue identified, and there was no communication with any additional issues that were serviced. My husband and I spent almost as much in car rental fees as it cost to fix the car. Though i trust the work is solid, we were not impressed with the lack of communication. When my husband commented on how long it took to get the car back, he was told that the assumption was that the car wasn't needed. That assumption was never clarified, and was told "you couldn't have texted us", making it his fault that we were uninformed. I am happy to have my car back, however we will not be taking my car back to this shop for any future issues.

Worse dealer ever. They lied about pricing when you are calling in, then after arriving there they changed it to full price. Not only that the front desk lady is really unprofessional. She will make you wait for her to get done talking to her friends before attending to you which she did to me 3 times which was not even related to work. She is also rude as well. They also lied that the car was a clean title which it isn’t. Had to find out the hard way.
