By time they arrived my husband had already brought the new piece to repair at a local truck stop a mile up from where we were stuck. When it was time to leave the tow truck driver said it was $450 just for using a wrench to unscrew the glade hand. First he told us that since the state police called them out that they can charge $450 even though he never attach our truck to tow. Then he told us it was a service fee of$450. So my husband said he had $300 and the first thing the tow truck driver said was “CASH” and his face light up. That’s was the confirmation we needed to know that’s this company and drivers are money hungry and will rob you blind.
