My worse Copart Experience Yet… Would never recommend anyone else to purchase a vehicle from this location - Waited 4 Hours To Get Loaded just to be told that the general manager is refusing to Load the vehicle that I purchased - Thanks to that Dirt Bag General Manager I Wasted my whole day at Copart and spent $300 On Towing Service to get it loaded - General Manager Name Is Jeffery i can’t believe they put such a Unprofessional And Disrespectful Human being to run this location - I contacted Customer Service and will be anything in my Power To inform people about this TERRIBLE Experience

I’ve had a couple run-ins at this location, but I do a lot of rebuilds threw copart and have dealt with multiple locations. Today I went to view a 2011 dodge ram I’d won for an $8000 bid. Before I payed for the vehicle. I wanted to put my hands and eyes on it to be sure it was what I saw in the photos. (sometimes copart can’t disclose all damage with simple, minimal photos. So be sure to check them out in person to be sure this is the vehicle you want!) I’ve done this many times but I knew it was a bit tough to get a view of the live vehicle at this location. But was hoping my experience and loyalty to the company would help me convince! Well.. I pretty-much walked in and got immediately shut down but one of the workers…. as I tried to plead my case and sneak that 5 minutes in to be sure this is the truck I wanted for a good chunk of my money! After a minute or two of hearing my case Stacey Henry asked me a couple simple questions to verify the vehicle. And took an extra 20 minutes out of her day to bring the truck to the warehouse. And let me view it with her, and at the end. She asked me if it was going on sale tomorrow!, which tells me even though she had no idea that I had already won the bid on this vehicle. She was willing to go above and beyond to help a customer that just needed a second to be understood. I can safely say the truck turned out to be in better shape than I thought. And Stacey Henry added a new customer to her location, as my dealer buddy was with me to view the truck. And was also very happy with the level of service we got. Remember guys. These guys deal with some angry and hateful people some days, sometimes, giving a smile and some respect. Can earn you the same. Thank you Stacey Henry. For a great experience at this location. As I’ve had issues with the other locations. I’m happy to have a kind experience to review.

They obviously dont want to sale too many cars. Probrably why thier nasty lot is overflowing. Front desk lady is horrible. Edit. Just got off the phone with michelle. She was very helpful, patient and an asset to this company. The woman on the right of the two cubicles at front, needs to be reprimanded for her attitude. If you dont like your job, quit. Please!

I was a regular customer and I speak for those who share the same problems I have at the KC location. I am a rebuilder and need to look at the vehicle I am buying because the pictures are not accurate and don't show everything. 1st of all they don't allow you to look at the car which is problematic. I should decide if I need to spend more money on frame damage, engine damage or a BAD transmission. They basically take that decision factor away from you. When you show up they immediately shut you down and say no to viewing a vehicle. Other COPARTS have a very well organized system for viewing a car except Kansas City KS. When I'm there I see these young STAFF WORKERS on their cell phone and putting stuff in a microwave to eat not really working. If you don't believe me just show up and everything I wrote here will be validated. They don't care about you or customer service. The young black female that works the counter has terrible people skills. She is usually the only one at the counter while the waiting room is packed. Another critical factor is that they took away the seating. If you have physical limitations you have to stand in their lobby for hours. I have screws and rods all over from 4 combat tours, I have told them I can't stand for long periods of time, I also asked for a chair to sit on and they looked at me like I'm crazy. I read the last post that was given 5 stars. My question is why everyone is not given the opportunity to view a vehicle? why special treatment to that individual. That raises some serious red flags. Money has no color it's all green. LET PEOPLE SEE THESE DAM CARS AND SHOW THEM ALL RESPECT. You will see that the cars will sell like crazy! FIRE THE MANAGER AND GET NEW STAFF!!

This location keeps getting worse by the day...What is the essence of scheduling an appointment and arriving on time only to wait for over two hours just to pick up one unit. They leave just one person upfront sometimes that do not care about drivers wasting their ELD time just to pickup. Management should really look into time management for this location

Beware of this business. This place basically had stolen my car from a tow company lot without my permission and took it to their lot. They never notified me and my car was not a total loss it needed to go to an auto body shop. It took several weeks to get my car back. The car is now trashed inside and I had medical paperwork in the console that I needed for an appointment that someone read and threw on the driver floor. There are HIPA laws! If I could give them zero stars I would. Also while at the lot the company took my license plates.

Let me tell you something . This location it’s with zero organization Doesn’t matter if you make appointment or not If you are whit one, two or three car trailer you’re going to be the last one This is crazy I have appointments from 2 PM now it’s 5 and I’m still not with the car And the answer when I got from the manager it’s :-everybody have to wait!!!! If I have another option I never gonna come here again but No problem I don’t have a choice

place is terrible. waited in line 3 hrs to preview cars after they texted me to come in because you have to wait in line with their kiosk. also last couple weeks they had no 1 to help preview cars. so paid $60 for service they dont supply adequately. then once you put a deposit in to bid and if you lose,, it takes up to 10 Days! the get a refund! wow they have no help. its always something. i would avoid at all cost.

Staff wasn't horrible.. but ya vidoe of car running for run and drive would be great . But the fees ......? 675$ buyers fee . 1400$ in fees is ridiculous. And the wait time to get the vehicle was 2 hr and 20 min. What's the point of an appointment?

Horrible customer service. Iaai is better than any copart. Take too long to pull your cars out. They don’t put the right damages on the car. They need to have a live video of the engine if it’s run and drive. Also add in a picture of the undercarriage. I don’t need to see a picture of a stereo. Please get it together. You guys are losing so much business everyday. Luckily the manager at this location is not rude like his staff.

Slowest office staff of any Copart in the country. If there’s 3 people in line you better bet on a 3+ hour long wait. It’s absurd. Most blatant display of “I get paid hourly” that I’ve ever seen.

Customer Service was great. Dispatch and truck drivers that partner w/ Peddle are incompetent and worthless. They only schedule vehicle pick-ups in 4-hour windows, which I totally understand. They missed both appointments, and it was only after I called them that I found out they weren't coming.

Bought 2 cars, one was what I expected, the second was way nicer than expected. The staff was helpful even though the place was packed (you're going to have to wait for your turn). The lots were clean and organized. Fees were high (be prepared), but you get what you pay for...

This places loves to nickel and dime you on fees. The cars listed at auction are constantly relisted due to the fact that they aren't meeting reserve prices. ( Overpriced) Customer service is nonexistent because they have little competition. You need to have an enormous amount of time to waste to consider buying from them. Another thing I have noticed are cars are marked pure sale and then at day of auction they are changed to have a reserve.

They were nice enough and letting me bring some parts back for my car that was totaled. They got me to my car so I could check for anything else that I might have left in it. But they really tore the heck out of the front end of the car that was not damaged. It's not that I care but it could have made somebody some money having a whole front clip that was undamaged among some other areas. But that's for my insurance company to worry about. And I don't really care what they get, cuz they wouldn't give me what they should have for my car anyway. That the people at copart were okay.

I live in Lawrence and I just sold my car to Copart via Peddle. Good experience, Peddle offered almost $4000 for my car and Lawrence local salvage car company only offered me $400 which is ridiculous. Copart picked up my car for free and gave a Copart company check (they cooperate with BOA for their checks, the cashier of BOA told me Copart checks are basically BOA checks, I deposited on Friday and I can manage these money on Saturday), this is really money, not a scam. I was horribly worried about whether their check will be valid or not, it is a large amount of money and I can't afford getting my car towed with nothing in return. But thank god, everything works perfect, the checks are valid.

Sat around waiting for them to load my purchase. Loader driver did not even speak to me. Gave him my ticket and he just drove off. Didn't tell me anything. So now I sit around and waste my day. 50 Min and counting. I keep telling myself our business will not deal with the Kansas City location anymore. Lincoln NE is so much faster and efficient.

I gave one star because I can't give none!!! If there's one place that only interferes with the transporter's life, it's this Copart, I haven't been to any so far that things work well!!!! The one in Kansas City then, r now they changed everything, you get the title in one place, the car in another, call to ask if the car is paid for, they say yes, when you go to pick it up it isn't!!!! I can't wait for the market to go back to normal because I'll never get into a Copart again in my life!!!! The IAA may take a while, but things happen!!!

Terrible. THE SLOWEST BUSINESS I’ve been to and btw there is a queue you need to join when walking in — I say that because they don’t have that listed anywhere yet will be mad when you don’t know about it. Spent 2-3 hours waiting to get a garage opener out of my car in their lot. This place stinks

Copart Kansas City is friendly and professional. The employees there went out of their way to help me. Copart is much better than the other guys for consumer auction bidding. I have purchased from the Graham WA yards and the Arlington WA and the Spokane WA yards, and all yards have provided good service. I have purchased Run and Drive cars from them and they have all worked out pretty well.

They took over the towing after I sold my car to peddle. They were supposed to call to arrange a time for towing but never did. I called the following week to learn it had already been towed. Due to that the shop charged them, when they wouldn't have if I were there (from the shop owner's mouth), which reduced the amount we expected by half, $260 down to $140. We also didn't get things out we wanted, and the check was written out for the wrong amount. Luckily they did end up sending the difference to make it the correct amount. There were 2 interactions with them and they failed at both. Giving 2 stars since I know it's at least a legit business.

Very rude employees. Customer service doesn’t exist here. Bought 82 El Cameno listed as 5.0 V8 Engine. Got it, it has V6 engine called them they would not help or do anything about it. Knowing i own a car lot and i buy cars from them every week.

They are dishonest thieves. My insurance company had my vehicle towed there after an accident. I went to collect personal belongings from the car that I was unable to get at the time of the accident, and half of my stuff was gone. And of course, they had no idea what happened to it and they certainly didn't take anything. They removed my belongings from the inside of the car and put them in the trunk, for what reason I do not know, and apparently in that process kept what interested them. If I could give negative stars I would!

This Copart needs an attitude adjustment. Whenever I'm there I'm always pushed around by the feminine staff. Dear Manager please help to adjust their attitudes, they might think dealers and people who work for dealers are trash but we are people too!

Bid on a car and won the bid. The checkout process was a little arduous. Having to check in with QR code and the wait. I am sure it is just the state of things today. Not being able to view a car unless it is up for bid that week, is frustrating.
