i own and operate a Automotive repair shop out of salt lake city, we bought a used engine from el paso auto salvage, the used engine spun a rod bearing before the car ever left my shop. They told me that i only had a 60 day warranty from when they sold me the engine. Being a very busy shop, we had not installed the engine for some time after receiving it and the car never left my shop for the customer to even take it home and the engine was bad. I tried on numerous occasions to get in contact with the manager and left multiple messages for a call back to get this resolved and never received a call back. Stay away from this place like the plague.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Stay away! Ordered a part over the phone, they charged me and never sent my part out , every call i made they just came up with new story, most common your customer service rep is out somewhere and he will call back with an update. 3 weeks later and no part .... had to file chargeback! Worst experience considering we are in same business!

I walked in and the staff were rude to me because of my skin tone. Rude staff helped other customers that came in after me and when they finally got around to me they started talking on the phone without even saying excuse me. When I got up to walk out the owner spit at me and called me a "F-word gringo". I will not be returning to this establishment ever. They are liars and cheats. I would give 0 stars if possible!

Terrible place! They guaranteed me they had the part I was looking for. I drove all across El Paso for approximately one hour and when I arrived the part wasn’t there. They then directed me to another place miles away where the part was supposedly at and nothing. After explaining to them that I lived to far to come back the next day they didn’t seam to care. The staff is just like the place JUNK!! Don’t waste your time or money with them.

Called in advance, they said they did have the tail light for my vehicle, when I got there they had the wrong tail light. That's fine, but I drove all the way from far East El Paso. By the way called three times and was assured they did have the part

I don’t recommend this place at all .sales personnel are a bunch of layers at bought a part for my Nissan they told me to wait out side and they were going to call me when the part was ready i staid there for 1 hr I called back and the person that was going to pull the part for me was in lunch they said to come back at 3:30 and they send me to another yard 4 miles away I got there and the part wasn’t ready the lady that sale me the part forgot to call his worker. I waited 5 hrs to get my part and she said if you don’t like it come and get your money

Rude, integrity devoid staff. One of many distrustful paractices is they don't hold parts for anyone. If someone comes in with the money even if you deposit, they will sell it from under you. Knowledge is also lackluster at least. Not a trustworthy company whatsoever, highly suggest taking your business to a more reputable establishment. Also the staff definitely notices that you aren't not of their decent and treats you quite noticeably different, speaking to their accosciates in Spanish, little did they know I speak it well enough to decipher some very distasteful and rude comments.

I have been doing business with this company for over 7 years, and they always treat me well, and the parts are in good condition. I see a lot of bad reviews but I think that most of them are from people that are not in this business and might not understand how salvage yards operate. If you want to be sure a part is there and waiting for you then ask if you prepay for it over the phone with a credit card can they pull it and have it ready for you at pickup. If you just call and they look in the computer, there is chance the computer says they have it, but when you get there and they go check they may not be able to locate the part. It could be lost or stolen, or inventoried incorrectly. I buy from salvage yards daily, and I promise you that this happens everywhere.

These guys are worthless. They sent me the wrong part and the part was welded and modified so even if the part was the right part it was still useless. I had to pay shipping both ways and they still will not refund my money. I now have to go to my credit card company to get my money, but I still will loose $300 in shipping charges because of the piece of junk they sent me.

Don't try to sell your car to them, especially if you need it towed there. I tried to get them to come out on 5 different occasions. They would tell me they would call me back and never call. I would set up times for them to come pick up the car and they would never show up. I can't speak about the rest of their business but if it is half as disorganized, unreliable, and sketchy as their auto salvage I would go anywhere else before coming here. Save yourself the hassle!

I called for a part for my car who he said he had the part and would pull it for me. Mind you this is the only place I could find the part in town....I live central and this business is far westside past artcraft. He said he would call me if the part was no good....well I hurry up from work and get out early so I could hurry and make it before they closed and I never got a call from so I'm thinking all is good....I decide to call while I'm headed there just to make sure he doesn't decide to close early and let him know im on my way, he answers (after being on hold for over 10 mins) and I'm already past executive and he tells me the "part was no good"....information I could've used well before hand and looked elsewhere. I consider that bad customer service and would never use this company ever again....

These people are liars. They lied and told me that an engine had 107k miles on it when it actually had 207k miles on it. When I confronted them they tried to give me extra warranty months but when I said that I wanted my money back they gave me a hassle for almost a month. Greedy, pathetic waste of a business this is. Don't waste your time.

Absolutely terrible. If i had a choice between doing buissnes with them and bashing my hand with a hammer, I'd find the largest sledge i could find. Further more i am disappointed in this rating system as i would not rate them a "One Star" perhaps zero stars or a poop emoji would be more fitting.

I put a deposit down on an engine a while ago and they said they would hold it for me. I went to pick it up today and they said that they sold it. I asked for my money back and they said I needed to call back tomorrow. Not impressed at all.

Went to pick up parts that were supposed to be held. Upon arrival to yard, parts were already sold after deposit was put down. Not gringo friend. Attitude changed from me walking in (I am a white) and a Hispanic walking. Poor service.

When I walked in to get parts for my vehicle they were the most rudely people I have every talked to, all there bathrooms were unsanitary, dirty floors and told me if I didn't like there business to leave out the door, I highly recommend not ever buying parts from them.
