I really hate to write this review but thought it was necessary to warn others. I've been taking 2 vehicles to Mr. Eddie (the owner) for about 8 years for repairs. Recently, my vehicle stalled out of town so another repairman found that the starter was "possibly" the issue, so it was replaced w/ another starter that was under a 100% warranty. My car ran fine for a few days until it stalled again near my home, so I towed it to Mr. Eddie's garage. Considering that he advised that he didn't repair engines or transmissions, he told me that he would still do a diagnostic test to see if there were any other issues. I agreed, but was stunned to find that he charged $90 which he has NEVER done before. I knew that the battery in the key fob (remote) was a little low but it was still functional for the car to be turned on, however, I was charged $9.95 to replace ONE remote battery when I could've bought 2 for $5 at any local store and brought it to him if he would've notified me. To boot, the car's battery was weak, so he had the audacity to add $10 to jump it off...obsurd!!! A jump off is a FREE service at any other respectable business. Needless to say, the bill came out to be over $220 with basically NO repair, just an exchange/replacement of the starter thats very simple and not too time consuming to replace according to the previous repairman. Unfortunately, I still had to have my vehicle towed to the dealership for further engine inspection. The only info I recieved from Mr. Eddie was that the engine was supposingly "locked up", but he wasnt certain since he's not equipped or experienced to thoroughly inspect and diagnose engines issues. He figured that if he couldnt make money off any real repairs, he would nickle and dime me with other ridiculous charges. About a year ago, I had CO2 sensors replaced by Mr. Eddie and upon paying him, my debit card was charged 5 times in error. With bills needing to be paid, it took 6 days for my account to be credited. For the trouble and inconvenience, Mr. Eddie informed that he would give me a discount on the costs for the next vehicle service. I reminded him of his past offer and asked for the discount on this bill, but he refused to take anything off (not even a discount for a remote battery or a jump off charge). At that moment, he proved that he wasn't a man of his word, so beware. I refuse to do business with a person who betrays my trust. So on that note, he is shady, and I will not continue to give him my money when he clearly doesnt appreciate loyal customers who has given him plenty of business for many years. I will also no longer recommend Emery Hwy Auto Parts and will tell those who are considering returning, to stay away from this place and find a business that truly care.

The man told me I needed a engine valve job In which They did but three weeks Later car engine stopped running. I called them to them know that my car engine shut off completely then that's when they tell me it is something with the fuse box. That seems Real SHADY to me And i would not suggest anyone use this place Because I feel they could of told me this before And costed me $1600 hundred dollars plus tax. STAY AWAY!!!!!RESPONS TO THEIR RESPONSELIES LIES LIES! the fuse was changed multiply times and the same thing happend at every intersection i came to the car shut off on me Almost killing me in the process. When i originally came up there for a full tune up i told them to please fix everything that needed to be fixed NOT JUST THE ENGINE! So unless You want to take a chance with your LIFE or Want to lose MONEY ( Over $1600 plus TOWING fees Iost) DONT USE THIS BACKWOODS OPERATION!!!!And P.S. IF YOU THINK IM GONNA COME BACK UP THERE AND WASTE MORE MONEY YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN!
