I called this early Friday morning 830 exactly called many places looking for a motor for my truck. They said they had one for $1200 with 150,000 miles. Told them that I would call them back letting them know if I wanted it or not and I called them back to tell him I wanted it. They said they still had to pull it out of the vehicle even though they said at first it was on a shelf and ready to go. Put $100 security deposit for them to hold it. Call them back Monday after finding out my motor was still fine and that I didn’t need the motor he tell me that my deposit was nonrefundable and that they don’t work for free horrible Business everybody stay away from this business unless you like getting ripped off won’t be coming back to do business at this place again

Ordered a rim for my Vehicle on Wednesday and paid upfront. They said it would ship the same day and arrive on Friday however 2 days later still no answer and no tracking number provided and no proof of payment or any kind of invoice. I called them off Friday and sales representative was incredibly rude and told me that he would not be sending the part because he is too “busy”. I would avoid this place since they don’t even have basic understanding of customer care. Sales representatives name was Scott. I can understand delays in shipping and delays in packaging but all I needed was a invoice or a proof of payment.

Used to be one of my favorite places to grab parts locally but recently they closed the yard so no one can enter and raised all prices to match or surpass eBay/Marketplace. I there are some good yards in Chicopee and surrounding areas that still let you pick.

The worst salvage place I've dealt with. Bought a headlight for nearly $500 and never got a receipt after asking several times. A week later I call back and was told that the headlight was missing and when I asked for refund they said I never paid. I had to dispute it on my credit card. Just terrible.

First off very rude on the phone also put wrong name on the check even tho we specified and even spelled it out for them then told us they will return same day with a new check with right info on it but didn't then made us drive (30mins) all the way to them the next day instead of dropping it off like they said they would. Quoting the person I spoke to " I'm not sending a tow truck to deliver a check ! " So send someone in a car duh!

First time customer. Kyle took good care of me. I ended up in employee parking. Kyle heard the ruckus and brought my part to me. Funny. Good people.

BEST AUTO SALVAGE YARD EVER!!! Called over 250 scrap yards and went to over a dozen and looked online everywhere for the clutch line for my Saturn Ion. I couldn’t find it ANYWHERE, until I came upon the brilliant, friendly, helpful, staff members at HIGHWAY AUTO !!! The massive amount of cars in their inventory allowed for me to find the part I was looking for in not one, but TWO cars there!!! I brought my tools, cut the part off, and paid ONLY $20 FOR BOTH LINES!!! This place is soooo awesome!! I can’t thank them enough for having the clutch actuator line for My 2007 Saturn Ion 2. I would recommend this business to anybody looking for parts for their car, as they have such a rich variety, and a friendly staff crew. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BEWARE these guys are dishonest. I ordered a driver's side front door from Highway Auto Salvage. Paid a $100 deposit. They were adamant that they don't guarantee paint color, which was weird since I could see a picture of the door and the correct paint code on their listing for the car. I wanted to verify the color myself, but they don't let you on the lot and I got yelled at over the phone for even suggesting they go out and check themselves. Whatever. I waited a week for them to get me the door from the lot and they didn't call me back. I finally called them and they said the door I wanted was "rusty" and they were sourcing me another one from a different yard out of state. They wouldn't tell me any information on this new door including the color because they "don't guarantee color." This felt like a bait and switch, so I called back and asked a different employee to look up the door I originally ordered. This time they told me my door was damaged when they pulled it off the car and put it on their lift. I finally told them I wanted my money back. I didn't pay for a random door from a random car from out of state. The guy on the phone said no at first then finally yelled, "OK FINE GET YOUR REFUND" before hanging up on me. Surprise, surprise I didn't get that refund. Instead, I got charged a 30% restocking fee on that deposit for a door I never saw and that they hadn't even sourced yet. They never called me to tell me they damaged the door I originally ordered either. What were they restocking?! The door they broke? I've been to plenty of salvage yards and this was by far the shadiest one I've ever been to. Ended up paying them to break the door I wanted and never got.

Awful business, The most unprofessional environment I have encountered. They certainly don’t care about what they sell to customers. The overall conditions in this establishment is completely concerning. Customer service from start to finish was just horrendous, these people only care about the money not about the overall importance it is so provide such a great service that will make customers come back to buy more. I Definitely do not recommend anyone coming here and wasting their time. The prices they offer is certainly not worth it.

Id rather pay double the price elsewhere than to deal with these guys again. Paid upfront for a sunroof and was told 2-3 days it would be ready… After calling back nothing had came in. I gave it a full week before calling back and was told by Scott he forgot to put in the order to give it 2-3 MORE days. “Mistakes happen”... understood. When the sunroof arrived Scott communicated that it's a clip of an entire roof of a car… This is not what I asked for. I communicated that & asked to be refunded because this wasn't what we agreed to. “No Refunds bc they went to CT to pick it up”. Ok. Then I was told to go in person & take off what I needed myself, they didn't want to take responsibility if the glass were to break. This made it difficult for me to pick up because I had prepared for something else. I ended up paying $250 for one of they're guys to drive down to Boston. 2 stars because the sunroof was in working condition. Scott the parts manager? Needs to have Better customer service after he picks up the phone he talks like your bothering him with no greeting or overall welcoming , definitely not the place that makes you want to return . I wish it was all better communicated and no one would have wasted there time. Thanks

Avoid this establishment; the staff is disrespectful and unprofessional. Despite confirming the part's availability (a Headlight which requires no tools to take out) with them over the phone before driving from Connecticut, upon arrival, they requested a deposit and indicated the part might be available later in the day or by Monday. It's clear that these individuals don't value their customers or understand the importance of good service. My recommendation: stay away!

Highway Auto Salvage is my go to place for used parts in Northampton Massachusetts. The staff is always courteous and go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I recently interacted with two employees there Kyle and Scott. Both were knowledgeable, friendly and actually took the time to listen to what I was saying and respond. Five Stars to the guys at Highway Auto Salvage, 182 Mount Tom Road, Northampton. They are second to none.

Unprofessional and rude first impression, I call for some parts being as I am a repair shop and start off by introducing myself and saying that I'm a shop in Connecticut and am looking for parts, only to be responded with an attitude " Ok... what do you want". I responded by saying excuse me and got hung up on. I call back and no response. I simply don't understand how they plan on keeping business with this form of customer service.

You can not go and do pick and pull anymore , they are all unorganized , they lost the list of stuff we needed and only gave us half of the things still charged us and gave us faulty items , they pick the worse parts and crush the good parts . Very disappointed will be traveling farther away to a junkyard that has an owner that knows how to run a yard. Again went to get parts because they gave me wrong ones to replace there screw up and they still mess up giving me different year im wondering what hole all these people came out of, they should just close down to save everyone the torment .

This place is garbage I bought a transmission for my 06 f150 so I walk in everyone was kind they worked really well with me and gave me a good price on transmission (750$) they told me all transmissions have been tested and under warranty for 90 days so I took it believing their lies I take transmission and truck to a shop have them put it on cost me 1200$ and my truck drove fine but had no reverse so paid another 600$ for them to take it back off then called highway auto salvage to either exchange it or give my money back and they refused to do so they said it needed to be reinstalled and taken to a transmission shop for a diagnosis which can run up even more money then they have the nerve to say over the phone that they are going to stop selling transmissions because this was a constant problem and they are just tired of it so that says a lot about them right there dealing with these people have been a nightmare looks can be deceiving they seemed like great people instead they are just people who love to get over on people and that is not right if you need something take your business elsewhere I personally found that mass used auto salvage is a great place fair prices with warranty and all parts are tested at yard before being pulled so it can be a wait but totally worth every penny at least you know what you’re getting actually works and you won’t do the job twice or in my case pay a mechanic twice

Do NOT deal with this supplier. First, they are very aloof and rude on the phone. Just obnoxious. They told me they had a part and took my credit card. They said they would call when the part was ready to pick up. They NEVER called back but charged the card! Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT give them a credit card number or do business with them whatsoever. It is a scam. I'm told they are under very new ownership so you can disregard EVERY review that came before this.

I called for info about used tires. The price sounded good on the phone so I went there on a Saturday morning to buy them. First I had to wait almost 45 minutes to get waited on. I was told one price and saw the tires. After they were on my car the price was more than double what I was quoted! I went home fuming, went back and asked for a partial refund. After huffing and puffing the employee refunded a portion. GET A RECEIPT! I didn't and got screwed. I'm Sure the Saturday guy pocketed either a good part of or all of my money and without a receipt I had no recourse. STAY AWAY FROM HIGHWAY AUTO SALVAGE! They should be called Highway Auto Robbers.

Ordered two parts from them, took them two weeks to get each after originally quoting me three days. I had to drive an hour and half down just to wait another two and half hours for them to get the part off the vehicle. This is after I told them I would be down there to retrieve it since they can’t possibly find the time to mail out parts. I was told “it’s off the vehicle” BEFORE driving down there.Their prices may be cheaper but you’ll spend more time doing their job for them than it’s worth. Constant excuses and poor customer service.

Xavier sold me a subaru engine last minute and had it on site next day like a boss! Unfortunatly I found chunks of metal in the oil pan. Xavier and the older guy behind the counter looked at them and without hesitation refunded my money after i let them know i was on my way out of town and couldnt wait for an exchange. I appreciate the honesty and integrity in the way they run their business and will be sending friends to buy parts there! Not their fault by any means and they still made it right!!!!!
