    Their salesman Jose sold me a transmission that will not work with my vehicle. Put me in a huge bind and made no efforts to help fix the situation I've been put in, other than, "bring it back and we'll refund you". This place is no better than autozone, you're better off buying parts literally anywhere else.

    Quoted me price before tax. Price was lower than competition because of this. I ended up losing the difference when they charged me more than they quoted.

    We needed both left doors for 2007 Dodge Ram. Justin was very courteous (and patient with this ole lady), color matched the doors and had parts pulled and ready for pickup at the time he said. The doors were in great shape and the cost was very reasonable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Intermountain Auto for used parts.

    I cannot say enough good things about them. Justin was fantastic to deal with, very informative and prompt on communication. He found me a part that nobody local had and others were unwilling to ship. Thanks to them, my truck lives again! If I am ever in need of parts again, they will be my first choice.

    These guys are the best! Best junkyard in all of Idaho Falls in my opinion. Bradyn helped me track down a rear end for my Yukon Denali from another yard (even though they didn’t have one) and helped get my truck back on the road. They are the best when it comes to communication and pricing and are super easy to work with. I’ve bought several parts from them and would recommend them to anyone over any other yard around here. I’m from Houston, Texas and I have to say they have the cleanest facilities I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot). Highly recommend them to anyone needing used auto parts!

    When someone buying a part you need to tell them everything because I bought a radiator and they told me it's going to be done around noonish it's past noonish I called them at 1:30 they told me I'm on the top list it should be done anytime soon then 3.00 come by I haven't heard nothing so I come over just find out it's not going to be tomorrow because they have to start the truck make sure the radiator is going to work before they pour out no one said that to me you're going to sell a part tell them the right information instead of racing people time

    I have spoken to one of your employees, Austin, at least three times this week. I don’t know much about vehicles and every time I have brought up a concern or needed anything, he has always been super pleasant to talk to and has helped me understand even the simplest things. I feel like Austin’s customer service is by far top notch. He is very knowledgeable about the work that is done at your business, and has left quite a big impression. Never used your services before now, but as long as he is there to help make sure things are in order and efficiently resolving my concerns, I won’t go anywhere else!

    Horrible horrible experience with this dishonest wrecking yard. They sold me a hood for my 2004 Silverado that DOES NOT FIT and will not take it back. They accuse me of getting a different hood from somewhere else and trying to return it to them. Frankly I have better things to do with my time than play silly games They ARE NOT a reputable place to do business. SAVE your money and do business elsewhere. FOLLOW UP you say that I can't return the hood because I painted it before test fitting it. So I am supposed to test fit it to a crashed truck before painting. Who does that? According to you I got a different hood, spent $450 + dollars on paint and other supplies so that I could return it to you and get 212 dollars back. That is ridiculous. It is too bad that $212 dollars will affect the financial stability of your company. Do you need me to pay your power bill this month to help you keep the doors open?

    Even though you guys didn’t have the part in stock that I needed but Bradyn was able to source one out and order it into the store for a reasonable price. He was outstanding with his customer service and I would absolutely recommend him and this store to others !

    Spoke to Mike first thing on a Monday morning. What a nice guy. Dealing with salvage yards can be a bad experience some times. Not this place! Excellent pricing on part ( PCM) and 1 year warranty. Not too bad for a used part!

    Very smart people working at this place. they have known every time how to get me the right part, even when I couldn't describe what the name of it actually was. Their prices are fair and reasonable, and they are honest people. I will do business here whenever I need car parts.     Very pleased with Intermountain Auto Recycling. Bought right side front and rear doors for my 2014 Ford Explorer. After finding the doors myself on the IAR website, customer service representatives were helpful and polite on the phone. Had the doors shipped to my home just north of Los Angeles. They arrived on time in the condition described on the website. Even the delivery driver commented how well they were packaged. Door hinges were included and electrical connectors plugged in just like new. The doors aligned perfectly and power windows, locks, door ajar sensors and mirror all work perfectly. Gave them a good wash and wax and they look great. Excellent!

    Found a bumper and a tailgate for my 2010 F-150. Exactly what I needed. Asked, Austin, what he could do for me if I bought both. He told me he’d take $300 off BOTH! I asked him twice, $1,100 for the tailgate and the bumper. He replied “YES SIR” to both. So I gave him a few hours to take the bumper off. I asked if they had any scratches or dents. He said no, they were both A00 ratings. Which means nothing’s wrong. Show up and the tailgate has scratches and a dent. Bumper is fine. Get them loaded and go in to pay. $1,400 plus tax! I told them I was quoted $1,100 before tax. He said he couldn’t do that. I told him that’s why I asked twice online. He went back and looked at our conversation and saw that he agreed to the $1,100. I also brought up the dent and scratches. He said he could do $1,200 plus tax but that’s it. I would have left a 5 star if they would have just done the price they told me twice online. Not sure I’ll be back again if I need more parts.

    Have had 3 dealing with them.. Always hoping it would be better.. 1 they never get the part pulled when they say they will.. Keep delaying and delaying even when you already paid for it. 2 they tried changing the price on one purchase significantly until i called them out for it.. 3 they openly bash and trash talk other peoples parts and products.. One guy had the nerve to imply that his 200000 mile part way better than new parts because it was original... You are a salvage yard wanting near new prices on very used parts..

    Austin has no professional skills what so ever. I called looking for a wiring harness and dash, he was rude cutting me off and saying my request isn't worth his of his guys time. Told me to look for my parts somewhere else. Then quoted me a ridiculous price amount I swear to get me off the phone. That guy has no tact or phone courtesy. No way will I ever do business with a company that allows people like that to talk to customers. Its my money, and taking it somewhere else now... Seems he has a history of being this way based on reviews I've read also. The plot thickens.

    My transmission went out in my truck in October. I went through them to get a refurbished one with 60,000 miles on it. I could not afford the extra couple hundred dollars to get the warranty. The shop put it in and I made it roughly 3,000 miles over 8 months before that transmission went. The shop said it was nothing I could have done and that the transmission was bad when I bought it. I called IMR and they wouldn't help me at all. They said it was out of their basic warranty and the place they got it from wouldn't help me either. Basically said tuff luck cause I couldn't afford the warranty and they we sell me another transmission for the same price. I ended up wasting $3500 to fix my truck. I work in sales and when something you sell doesn't hold up. You are supposed to back it up and help the customer. Thanks for nothing!!!
