Great place to go. Any question asked gets an answer. Ppl are helpful. Everything was emptied out of the trailer with a machine and paid more than I thought. 5 out of 5

I did not have a good experience with them. I recieved a price confirmation call from Alex on 1/26/24 via voicemail. However, I did not callback until 2/12/24 because I was out of town on business until then. When I called Alex accused me of pulling something. Stating that he never called. I pointed out that he left me a voice mail. I played the voice mail for him and instead of owning up to his errors, he continue to be rude and defensive. I later contacted Jeff and played the same voicemail. He agreed that Alex's did agree on a price. However, he said. Alex is not authorized to make prices for the company so he would call Jim the owner. He later callback to state that the company will deal with Alex but they cannot honor the $550 for the door. Personally I believe that if the salesman in this case Alex agreed on a price the company should do the right thing and honor that price. Secondly, having an sales person that is would acuse a customer of being deceptive and continue to do so after the evidence prove otherwise. That sales person is not a good face of any business.

I wish the local salvage yards near me were as professional and courteous. They stood behind their part 100%. I respect that.

I very seldom write review’s for businesses however, I feel that Jim’s Auto Salvage deserves one. The people here are very kind and helpful, their customer service is above and beyond as well as genuine. I will be giving Jim my business from now on. Thank you so much!

Bud who works there was the man to talk to. Idk if he still works there but every other person I spoke with must have not been raised with manners or fail to realize good customer service goes along way. Lost my business for good which they may not even care. I would rate 0 stars but Google don't offer that option.

Great experience! Nice facility and they appear to have an extensive inventory. Pleasant and courteous at the desk. I'd sure go back if I need a used part

Alex was a wonderful person! He helped me get the parts I needed for a dear friend. Their prices beat every place I called between Polk,Hillsborough and Pinellas county! Thank you all at Jim's Auto Salvage.....

Bought a reasonably priced used engine (2.0 Inline 4 Ford Ecoboost) and it came with most of the components and worked perfectly. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will come back for another motor when I destroy this one too!!!

They are always very kind and try to get you as good of a deal as they can for the items you brought in. Plus I have gone there many years for parts for my vehicle and if you call ahead they'll let you know if they have an item or not!

Great for when you have a lot of soda cans or an old broken dryer. You can get some pocket change and get rid of scrape metal for a better use.

Excellent customer service from Sanchez at Jim's. The part arrived fast and in perfect condition. Only salvage shop around that actually had a quick computer inventory and bothered to call me back when he confirmed he had it. I live in PSL and I will deal with Jim's in Sebring from now on even though they're not close to me.

These guys have bad attitudes and no customer skills. Prices are way too high comparing to others. They think they sell new stock and not old used junk!
- KKeith Pinner
I've only been to Jim's a handful of times but the guys and gals there are always courteous and very helpful good home town folks . Thanks jims

Called from Tampa to get a part delivered. Jason took my resale certificate and credit card info I faxed in and did lord knows what with it. I called to confirm he received it and he did. So after the third day of the part not getting here when it should have been two days, I called and JASON had no damn clue who I was and had none of my info. They’re Irresponsible and will cost your business money.

Very rude people that deal with. I'm not a mechanic or an auto manufacturer. I don't know the exact day my car was built. But they refused to help me without knowing that date. I'm sure Ford did not change the parts on a day-to-day basis.

Called on a Thursday afternoon to get a fuel filler neck for my mustang. They said they had it and closed at five. I drove 25min to go get it and arrived at 4:45. They told me to come back tomorrow. Apparently 15 minutes is not enough time to undo three screws to remove the part. Lazy jerks. The price they quoted me was $36. Called again on Friday to have them pull the part in advance so I won't waste another 50 minutes driving and the price today is $50. Shady business.

I te... tell... I tell you hwhat! Prices for scrap metal are to scrap for scrappers! Don't scrap with the other guys... it will frustrate you and you'll end up scrapping. Take that scrape to Jim.. and scrap with the money they throw at you. Checks printed and presented to you in a plague on the peak of your scrap mount. Beautiful ceremony.

I have no doubt in customer satisfaction and to me now 20+years later, Jim and staff still are #1😎 I'm glad they're still open❤️

By an unusual circumstance I was fortunate enough to b able to walk through jim's where all the parts r kept. Let me tell u what! I had a mechanic shop at one time & I can tell u from experience that Jims is, in my opinion, the Taj-mahal of all salvage yards in south west Florida!!! From the time u walk in the front door u no that they r different, and I don't mean in looks alone!!!!!!!! When Jims receives a part they HONESTLY put it through a process where it is cleaned, checked out to make sure it works, gets a ticket # for inventory, and once the part meets Jim's standards it is given a final clean- up & then & ONLY then it is put in their computer and shows that it is now available! Obviously I can't say enough about this place, since I have seen some dirty & disorganized places & also some cleaner & better organized places. I will say this much, in all five years that I was in business If Jims didn't have what I needed they got it & I was never worried about them getting it from someone else because I knew that it was going to have to go through the "process" before handed over to me. And I will leave u with this.... If u ever just can't find the words to describe Jims to a co-worker, friend, or anyone that u just feel the need to brag to after finding Jim's just tell them like I told u in the beginning, "Jim's is just the Taj Mahal of all salvage yards in south west Florida"!!!!!!!!!!! 😘 LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!

Too bad I can't give 0 stars! Went all the way from Sarasota to Sebring to pick up a full door for my Jeep. When I got there the door was scratched, rusty screws, mirror missing and the whole inside panel missing. When I asked them if this is a joke they told me that this is what I get when I order a door. Let me tell you - a full door, used from a junkyard for $600, comes with everything. What you are referring to is a shell. That comes stripped. And costs $495 brand new with free delivery. Thank you for waisting my time, I don't like it when somebody tries to rip me off.
- TTIMOTHY STARR
Usually friendly staff. Slow to getting to you at times. Drive area full of nails screws, and sharp things that caused my flat tires. Pays about 1/2 the going rate on scrap metal.
- LLori Mosher
Not at all what I expected and while the staff I spoke to was accommodating, felt that once he saw what I was trying to find, it wasn't worth it.
- nnoel Cardona
Awesome place been going there for years never had a problem
