Thinking of ordering from Apex but you’re not a professional mechanic? Prepare to be treated like the second-class citizen you are. That is not a slam on LKQ - it’s just how it is. I needed a good used engine, and I got one (mostly - two of the camshafts were rusty, but the compression was good). Here’s the thing: LKQ (correctly) cares more about professional mechanics because that’s who will be coming to them every week, whereas you or I might buy an engine once a decade. So, when they tell you they’ll call you back, just accept that they won’t, and call THEM back. When you ask for a compression test to be done before they ship, know that it won’t be done - they’ll just ship it without telling you. Or if the compression test IS done, they won’t tell you until you call and bug them about it, and then you’ll find out for some reason only 3 of 6 cylinders were done and they all were magically the EXACT same number (they weren’t - I tested it myself later). Also, prepare to be laughed at when you ask how the labor warranty works… that’s only for “real” mechanics, not shadetree noobs like me and you. So, as long as you understand that most of the time they deal with people (“real” mechanics) who don’t REALLY care whether a part is in perfect condition as long as it sorta works, you’ll be reasonably happy. To be sure, everyone I spoke to was friendly enough, and tolerated my numerous questions well. I was however fully aware the entire time that I was trying everyone’s patience haha. Will I buy from LKQ again? Yes, now that I understand better how it works and what my expectations should be, it’ll be much smoother next time :)

Most salvages have to drain the gas by drilling a hole in the bottom of the tank. This is hard to patch successfully. LKQ had one in stock in Dallas. I had to wait a couple of days. It was worth the wait knowing that I wouldn't have a future gas leak.

Good people great products. The white guy made me pay ahead but they didn't require other customers to pay ahead. MAYBE BECAUSE I AM HISPANIC AND THEY DON'T TRUST ME. The part was good.

Best place for parts. They are always super helpful in finding them and giving us the best deals.

They had what I needed at a reasonable price. They showed me two parts with the same model/serial numbers but gave me the more worn looking one. Or I would have given them five stars.

I am a complete jackass on this review!! I did visit your location on the same day. I was the run-down hobo looking guy that came to the wrong lkq. The two gentlemen behind the counter were extremely polite and very helpful in pointing me in the direction I did have been traveling. The place was clean and the employees were outstanding. They damn near sold me the part I was heading to get. Had I known the absolute mess I was heading towards, I would have bought it then and there. We're it not nearly 2 hours away, I would do just that since I still need one. Anyways, that prior review was mid misplaced. It was intended for the other lkq.

Lkq always has a full inventory of vehicles with plenty of cars, suvs and trucks to pick parts from throughout the yard..

Placed an order on Friday for a part to arrive on Monday, wouldn't answer the phone when I called to pick it up. If you have all day to wait for service maybe you'll like these guys.

The staff at this location has been most helpful in finding auto parts needed for our pickup. They are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Remembered me on my second visit. It has earned my continued business.

I usually go to the N. Peoria location, but I just recently had to order parts from the Charles Page location. I had no problems ordering, and paying for my part, but when it was time for pick up I got the run around, and still left without my expected part. I was told I had to pick it up from the Charles Page location because the truck never left the yard, this is after I was told it was on it's way to my original location. The lady at the desk was very rude and seemed to lack all knowledge of customer service. All she could tell me was "we don't do that". Finally, she tells me that the truck had already left, and I would have to wait two more days for my part. I would have no problem doing future business with LKQ as long as I wouldn't have to deal with the rude lady at the Charles Page location.

All the parts I've bought from here are still working today. Great service from the people inside. I've never had to deal with the warranty department though. They have saved me hundreds of dollars throughout the years.

Great place and very good prices. The only negative I can think of is their drivers. Almost got ran over by a box truck of theirs in Sand Springs. He came ripping around a corner in a parking lot with tires screeching and flipped us off. So, moral of the story is just pick up the parts yourself.

So I decided to build my own sim racing seat using an actual automotive drivers seat. Called sand springs asked for a seat for my car they said they have one there and could be ready by the next day once I paid. It was raining all day so ok. I went by after work to pay and was informed they did not have one it would have to be ordered. Fine no problem they got it for cheaper then I was quoted because I don't need a good airbag and explained what I needed it for to them. The one placing my order and another started going back and forth in Spanish im sure it was about what I said. I was told they would call when it was ready. Got the call and went to pick it up only to find out its in Catoosa and they can have it for me tomorrow. I said no thanks ill pick it up myself. I don't want to go back there ill just say something mean. 3 stars for getting a better price and was in way better condition then was explained.

They said they had my part. I drive over to sand springs to pick it up, they need to order it. It took two days to come in. Make sure they have the part on hand before driving over.

Hard to get them on tue phone, which I assume is due to them being busy. However going in person, they usually get me in and out pretty quick
