Angelica was amazing! Great service! I thought selling my scrap donor car was going to be a long a dreadful process, but it was quick and easy. She got me my check in less than 5 minutes! Only issue I had was the tow truck driver gave me a window for pick up and then didn’t call me when he was enroute like he said he would. Usually wouldn’t be a problem but the vehicle was remote from me and I had to drive there to give him a key. A little heads up would have been appreciated.

LKQ Greer used to be good. Besides the prices going up, they now find new ways to screw you over. It starts with the pictures they take for the online account not representing what a vehicle has when it actually becomes available for parts purchases. They remove key valuable items, such as radio/navigation, brake controllers, hybrid batteries, etc. before it becomes available, again unlike the pictures. Also the employees are so lazy they take a picture of the sky as one of the vehicle pictures (probably to meet a minimum picture quota for each vehicle) which is a great indication of what you get here. My latest experience was purchasing over $600 of body parts. They nickel and dime you on everything so just expect that. If they don't know what a part is, or if it's not specifically in their system, they will charge you for a more expensive part. For example there is a metal bracket for the bumper cover I just purchased. They didn't have anything specific for that so they charged me for a radiator core support. They should have just charged me for a miscellaneous bracket, and I pointed this out to them, but they wouldn't budge because the radiator core support was "the closest thing." The vehicle doesn't have a removable core support. Most infuriating, was that I went to take back my core parts, which included a hood, trunk deck lid and the "radiator core support." It doesn't say anywhere on the receipt, but apparently you have to return your core parts within 30 days of your purchase. I'm 13 days past 30 days and they would not give me anything for my cores, Even though I've just spent $600 and have spent a lot more than that over the years. For a place that charges you entry admission, mediocre part prices that you pull yourself and has super lazy workers, I'll be shopping at every other junk yard before coming back to LKQ.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They should have a phone number and someone who answers at each store as their website is inadequate for finding a part. The only way is literally drive all the way down there and hope that they have it if not you've wasted your time.

I typically drive past the one in Greenville to come here as the Greenville one has gotten incredibly greedy. Well it didn’t take long for it to trickle up here. Small parts you can get next day and not work to take them off are sometimes double or triple here, basically any module they are calling a computer and that’s a cool $100, hopefully the new pull a part they are starting at Adam’s off Whitehorse road will bring some much needed competition.

1 star because the staff was polite and helpful. Minus 4 stars because I drove 4 hours and surprise, they actually had none of the parts I needed. One of the employees let me know the real deal. They let me know even their computers don't know what's there and what's not. For example, they thought all my parts were there, but they were not. LKQ's decline over the years seems to be a management issue. It's sad because this place used to be awesome. Otherwise, the staff is pretty cool. But awesome staff unfortunately doesn't make up for the missing key ingredient --> doing what you say you do. LQK, if you're reading this, don't bother trolling me with a response. I'm not going back. Hopefully you just do better for the next person.

I am a regular customer of this junkyard, the employees are very rude to customers, and do not want to serve, they ridicule and are impolite, they do not want to take back the spare parts, I showed them the receipt and I bought a guarantee, they said that they are not punctual in accepting the spare parts back.

This place is well organized, I could find the cars I was looking for. The reason I gave it two stars was because they charge extra “guarantee” fees that act sort of like a warranty. Their parts are already a little high in comparison to other junk yards and then they tack on these warranty fees that make the parts round out at almost the same price as new parts. I personally don’t feel that I should have to pay these guarantee fees unless I chose too. Additionally, I wish there was some sort of effective system to determine which parts they have on their cars. The closest location to me is still an hour drive and it’s unfortunate when I get there and the cars have been stripped of all the items I could potentially use. Be aware that this location gets a lot of resale individuals, if you need a part that typically sells for a good penny you’ll have to check the website and get there as soon as the new inventory arrives. The staff is incredibly nice though. :) if you are interested in what I bought I got a headlight, a tail light, and some floor mats. After the fees my bill was over $170. The floor mats were 30 after fees the 140 were for the other items +fees. Around 35ish of that were these item specific fees. For comparison sake I paid 50 for several items at a different junk yard recently. That included two tail lights, a window assembly, a brake line hose, and a few other bits. I still paid for my parts obviously and I am aware that “complaining” even if I did does no good but I figure someone may benefit from this knowledge. They also charged my dad for parts that weren’t connected to what we got. Check your bill carefully, it’s almost like the staff attempts to rack the bill up on purpose. They also only have one individual ringing people up which makes you feel pressured to hurry because there are several people in line.

I downgradedmy review. They outsource calls now, so you get someone from India who can not even confirm anything via text or email. They help you locate the cars you look for. I wished they had some more disabled friendly access. I have a bad back and it's a long trip to the domestic cars. They could offer a shuttle

Possibly the rudest people I’ve interacted with all year. Interpersonal conversations and foul language in front of customers, treated like a nuisance from start to finish by trailer park Barbie at the cash register, who also aggressively kicked a trash can to convey that she couldn’t offer me a garbage bag for an oily part I was picking up - just an unprofessional group of individuals. I oversee operations for an automotive repair facility in South Carolina and will take my business elsewhere moving forward. I don’t know what I did to upset these people but they behaved as if I was inconveniencing them. 0/5

Decline of a great operation… when I first started going to LKQ they had great prices, decent basic warranty and a rewards program… not anymore! Zero base warranty. If you buy a warranty it’s expensive. Here’s the kicker… they won’t let you bring test tools on site like a multimeter or test leads and battery. Not allowed to check part before you buy?! Prices have skyrocketed and there is no rewards program. Also, whoever takes photos of the vehicles for the app and website needs either training or should be fired. What once was is no longer…

good place for parts, I gave it 1 star because the employees are always in a bad mood with no desire to work, poor service they always respond to us with bad manners, whoever has the opportunity goes to Greenville there the service is much better, much better

I like some of the other reviewers wish I could give negative stars. Nowhere on the website before I went for part or on my purchase receipt did it say that parts can't be returned unless you purchase the Optional Guarantee. You shouldn't have to pay 30% higher prices for Optional Guarantee just to be able to return an incorrect part that their printed Interchange of their inventory tells you will work. When I tried to return incorrect part with receipt, would not refund because Optional Guarantee wasn't purchased. Tried to discuss with Manager but he wouldn't do anything about it. Deceptive practices are the normal for all LKQ PYP - Greer employees. The only reason they have a 2.6 out of 5 rating is because Google makes you at least give them a 1.

Website says you can purchase cylinder head off a engine. After spending 2 plus hours removing head, I go to counter to pay. Was told you cant buy just the head. You have to purchase the whole engine. Even though we know the website says you can purchase separately, we dont sell just heads. No signs no where stateing that. At least post a sign if you have not removed the price of them on the website. Not to mention you have rasied the prices to match other junk yards that remove the part for you. If I have to take my part off, should come with a better price.

Incredibly expensive I moved to Spartanburg recently and was a first-time visitor to any LKQ. I needed plastic trim parts for my Vibe, and availability in the yard was good, but I was charged an incredibly high price for them at checkout. I expected them to cost a couple of bucks each; or maybe five bucks each, but no! The total came to $39.91. Forty bucks for two pieces of plastic? I was even charged a core and a Warranty price for both. Who needs a 90 day Warranty for a piece of plastic? Do you add a "core charge" to everything? LKQ you have a good inventory but your prices are absurdly high. As a first-time customer, I feel like I was taken advantage of. Terrible first impression.

Extreme decline in customer service. Parts have to be completely stripped down to avoid over charges. Ie buttons have to be removed from steering wheel to not be charged for additional switches.

Employee was very rude with customers because there was a communication issue, so rude in fact the another employee had to relieve her from the register. They also were not abiding by the parts price list that is provided on the their website. They tried to charge us double what the price is online. Will not ever be back to lkq. This is the 2nd one I've been to and was poor experience. At first I thought it was just because of the location but seems like a bigger issue of who hired

Prices have gone up. I do understand everything cost more due to inflation but wow!.. customer service isn’t at the top of the game anymore either.. do better lkq…. The only good thing about this location is the batteries but they didn’t offer the lifetime warranty just the 90 day!

They have just about any vehicle you would need, but they are extremely overpriced. Be prepared to spend more on 'fees' than your parts are worth. Most of their stock has been picked clean already, and many salvageable parts are in pretty bad shape. The staff is surprisingly rude.

Manager didn’t mention that the warranty was optional and charged us for the cables that came on the tailgate. The cables weren’t in the system so the receipt just says 2x something else. Got an extra $40 off of us. If it’s not in your system then maybe you should be be charging for it 🙃. Won’t be back.

Wasn't to happy with the prices today. They seem to find ways to get all the money they can out of you. Got two used radios and now they charge a 16 dollar each warranty fee on top of a disposal fee. Almost put the parts back. I ask if they could take the fee off and was told no. The original price used to be 25 and come with a 30 day exchange. I still like going to the place and picking the parts, so I guess I'll just put up with.

We came here to get a driveshaft. And when it didn't work they refused to return with receipt. They changed their policy and didn't post it in their stores. Everyone that works here are absolute crooks and just completely rude. Do not recommend just buy the part new.

I went here yesterday around 4pm to get a Toyota hatch for a project, I looked online and the price for hatches without glass were approx 30$ I bring the hatch up and he scans it and tells me it was 141$ WITHOUT ANY GLASS AND WAS STRIPPED OF THE WIRING AND PANELS AND WAS BURNT AND PAINT MISSING. I argued and said this was showed as 30$ online and he proceeded to try and tell me that it dosent work like that as this was a SUV not sedan yet the online website dosent show it that way.

Read the reviews and was hesitant about going. However once I walked in, I was greeted and informed on how it works and even had a free admission pass which they honored without a hassle. It took some leg work but I got all the parts I needed and saved a ton of money. I will definitely be going back. Great experience
