For anyone who is a car enthusiast like I am, this place is like a candy shop for big kids. For anyone who can turn a wrench and wants to save a few bucks vs parts store parts OR grabbing a hard to find part, this place is the place to be. I always enjoy coming here (or any local LKQ for that matter), even if it's just to look around. What I don't like about this particular location is that they're never consistent on what you can and can't bring in. One time I go in shortly after opening with all my tools. I get what I'm looking for but still need to return for more. I make my purchase, get my return admittance ticket, and return. When being checked in the second time, the SAME staff member who checked me in said I couldn't bring in my angle grinder. I explained to him that he checked me in earlier in the day, that he had just checked me out (tool bag inspection) not even 10 minutes earlier and provided me my return admittance ticket, and that on the return admittance he wouldn't let me take in my angle grinder. Customer tool policy needs to be consistent and clearly visible. This isn't visible anywhere.

I hadn't been to a junkyard in a while but the kia boys thought it would be fun to take my girlfriends underinsured source of income for a week long joyride and play bumper cars along the way. Came here based on the online inventory showing two recent cars that fit my needs. The yard was laid out well with accurate online inventory location, which made finding the cars quick and easy. There were numerous carts available for part transport and all of the employees I spoke with were helpful and polite. Checkout was easy, most of my parts had barcodes and there was a loading area available which I didn't expect but greatly appreciated as I came solo and got a full front clip. Overall, it was easily the best junkyard experience I have had, which seems strange to write. They had a non-autographed replacement headrest too.

All the bad reviews sounds bout right. The majority of the crew are as rude (trash) as they come. Charged 40 bucks for a rear view mirror? Great place to go learn how to peel ignitions and break door locks. Better off buying parts brand new.

I’ve been a customer here for years and I’ve never had an issue till now. Some of the employees are real jerks and add the warranty without asking or informing you. I had one employee appear out of nowhere as I was reaching the counter to let the cashier know what parts I had. As if I didn’t already put them on the counter, dude had a major attitude. He didn’t do any of that to any of the male counterparts there but came towards me as I went to the lines being the only female. It didn’t intimidate me but it was annoying cuz dude was a major douche with his stank attitude. Either way I still got the fender & owners manual for my 2015 Corolla. It sits well for my 209 paint code.

--BUYER BEWARE-- They charge too much to be asking to pull your own parts. Only worth it if you need an emgine or trans. Wants to charge 120.00 for 4 electrical pigtails and a seat if seat switches. They charge the "optional" guarantee fee automatically without asking or saying anything. They harass customers and tear apart peoples tool boxes on the way out. First and Last time using pick a part ! Don't do it. I advise to buy new for smaller parts.

This place would charge you for the air you breath inside their yard if they could. Prices are absolutely insane for a pick n pull yard. You basically drive an hour, and spend all day in the hot weltering sun pulling a transmission, just to have some sales guy nickel and dime you for every nut and bolt. Really make 0 sense to go here. You don’t save any money getting parts yourself, you typically pay more, and you get to waste your entire day.

Lots of cars but not enough VW, low inventory, very far away from the city up on the dusty dessert , good selection on Japanese cars and domestic , very easy to find the lines and sections all cars have a number

Would have been 5 stars but they added a warranty ($20) without asking if I wanted one. I told them I didn't want a warranty after noticing it on my receipt, and they said I should've said so before they charged my card... even though I didn't know I was being charged for a warranty in the first place... I got got, lesson learned! MAKE SURE YOU SAY "I DON'T WANT A WARRANTY" BEFORE PAYING. Also look up the vehicles ahead of time so you know where to find them in the lot. Will still prob be back.

These people are Crooks find someplace else to do your business I had a diesel pickup truck came from a factory as a diesel the VIN number said it was a diesel under fuel type it said D for diesel I had misplaced my title but there wasn't a problem with that they said that was still not proof that it was a diesel so they deducted $100 from their original quote they are Crooks and they will get you anyway they can run from doing business with them

I have never been to any Pick-A-Part. When I got to the San Bernardino location and let them know this bit of info and they were really helpful! I will definitely go back for whatever I need! Thanks guys! I found what I needed quickly, because of their number system, and was out of there! They had a huge fan, which was really helpful because it was crazy hot so early in the morning!

These guys are definitely not the same as before. They lack basic people skills and are often rude with paying customers. It's more often than not, a hassle to go down to this place without some unpleasant experience. I try to avoid going if I can. I hope they can up their game cause now they're charging 5$ to go in.

The absolute worst place I went to buy a spare tire with rim they wanted to charge me $38 for the tire saying the tire is separate cost what a scam I could have went down the street for less and not had to pull the part. $33 for rim $38 for the tire plus $10 admission for me and my wife $81 what a ripoff. Save yourself a trip seen many people complaining terrible. They also did try and sell me a warranty for a spare tire luckily I asked or would have been scammed worse

The employees who work in charge are terrible to serve customers, they are not friendly like all businesses !!! Well, you'll apologize for the owners. Many customers have quite high prices compared to other yards. If they could work on that, they want to make a lot of money or that they have a lot of investors, but be smart. I'll raise the prices. No sulosiona. The problem should be reasonable. Adjust their prices because if it's scary, go buy parts or engines and transmissions. Thank you very much for reading the comment

We left/forgot our cellphone at the end of the shift because it was closing time and if the register closes you can't get or pay for the part, so in the rush we forgot the phone. I called the next morning and the operator for the parts department who works at the location were we left the phone was a straight up b, refuse to even try to help, made up the most pathetic excuses but straight up didn't care or ever try to make an effort to help, yes we forgot the phone but it is not even a two minutes walk from the desk were she is at or the front entrance door were there are about 7 guys covering the front. It was literally just a few steps away, I live in Perris ah 45 minute drive away with no traffic. You're not special just because you work at a department for mostly men and you sit in front of a computer charging for parts or looking for them, wow so special? She didn't care but had it been her would of cried to the world. Yes I'm making it about her but that's the best way to describe this experience with a mentally stuck up self centered dumb women who probably gets to many complements because she's surrounded by only men and now thinks she's to good to help someone, that's all this leads up to. I just needed help and she just did everything to not. Again thanks for nothing princess

I been going here for years. This place use to be good, now they are rude expensive and without warning they charge you for warranty on everything even the dust on the part. One's your transaction has gone through even with paying cash they refuse to refund you for warranty you never wanted. The idiot that check me out and pull all my tools out of my bucket forgot to put two of my parts back in and I pay for them. Very dissatisfied I order on line use or new is cheaper. Sad I used to like going to this place I wish I can do -5 stars.

There's no way to get ahold of an actual person to verify inventory via phone. This is the second time I've gone here only to find the cars I were looking for were both crushed and not updated online. Nobody will verify anything until after they've gotten your $5 entry fee, which of course they won't refund. It's one thing to go to a junkyard and find a car that's picked over but to not even have the car? Twice? Never again, enjoy my $10 you stole.

Went in to get some tires for my car and I noticed that 95 % of the cars didn't have tires. A few of us customers were wandering around looking for tirea and we started talking about this group of people hoarding all the good tires and using a machine to take them off. This is not fair! You are letting a business come in and take all the tires??? We go to LKQ to save money because those businesses sell us the same tires for $30 each. That's robbery! It's not fair that we pay our entrance fee to have access to those deals and you let them go in there and cheat us out of tires.

Worst customer service. Everyone was super rude and they just add the warranty without even ask you. When I mentioned to the manager she said they are trained to do so. That they have a sign that says you need to opt out but the cashier makes it seem like it comes with it. In other words it’s a rip off and it should be illegal for them to do this. Every time I go somewhere they ask you first if you want to include the warranty and they tell you the price.

Yep as SOON as you walk up, I MEAN as SOON as you WALK up to the CASHIER let them KNOW that you DON'T WANT the GUARANTEED WARRANTY!! If you DON'T tell them THEY'RE going to TAG on more charges.. SOMETHING I had to LEARN the HARD way. So yes there's GOING to be a CORE charge for some of the PARTS. COMPLETELY up to YOU if you TAKE it back... The NICKEL-AND-DIME it's like you got to be TRICKY if you don't want to PAY for the full price... IT WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE BUT YOU KNOW, I learned some things. Try to get there as early as possible because if you're there near the time they're closing they will not tell you oh it's about it's about time you should stop already because we're going to be closing and they will turn off all the cashiers so no one's going to be able to help you out if you just you know they will not let you know they're closing the cash registers... So I had to have this gave me a break and let me hide my goods till the next morning. Anyways good luck 🤞 wait wait wait wait wait I got to say I got to say I had fun yes it was dead of Summer and I was sweating buckets but I had fun.. it's much cooler now I'll be going back.

Overall horrible experience. They treat their customers very poorly, overwhelmingly bad demeanor and attitude, like one's in prison or something. The whole energy from the employees is so bad, you can tell they all hate their jobs and most likely don't want to be there. The black guy with golden earrings has a really bad attitude and lacks proper communication skills...you can tell that's the highest job/career he's ever had. Don't take things so seriously buddy...you might get a heart attack. Otherwise prices are unrealistically and unreasonably high considering they are used and one has to pull them out on their own in this 110 degree heat. The only way to win is not to play, I would recommend everyone to stop shopping here until they actually reconsider improving their business strategies. I have not one good thing to say about this place. Not One!

Repairing your car is not cheap anymore or diy, if I need a head, block or ladder frame, they want to charge you for the whole engine price no less than $400 ridiculous. Pick apart it's not cheap nor lets you pick the parts you need.

Not sure why they don't Honor online pricing. First they were charging me for the wrong part, a transmission solenoid, I was actually buying camshaft sensors. 2 Cam Angle sensors (16.33+tax each) plus 2 pig tails(6.49 + tax each) these are online pricing That's about 45.64+ tax my math. The cashier said $100 something. I said no warranty he said $80 something. I said no thank you. The solenoids are $79.99 + tax new. What a waste of my time.

Long waits, customer service is horrible, employees set their own pricing and gouge prices, told the employee my part was $50-$60 on ebay, he still wanted to charge me $169.00 after making me wait an additional 15 minutes, after waiting in line and after he originally stated the part was $250 without checking. This place has gone down, hires anyone, makes up their own pricing depending on your vehicle information, and is unprofessional and rude. Dosent deserve any stars after treating long-term customers with this much blatant disrespect.
