Pick Your Part - Thousand Palms JunkYard Reviews
3.3 stars based on 30 reviews- JJustin MacAuley
This used to be a great yard. Low prices, clean, a buck to get in. Now it's a mess. $5 to get in. There is no order in the yard at all. All makes models and chassis mixed together in complete chaos. Parts are all over the ground. It's literally dangerous to even walk around. Cars are falling off the stands and some rows are so close together that walking down them would be impossible carrying a toolbox. Save your time and money and buy on eBay if you can wait a day or so. After time, admission and paying for the part it might be cheaper to buy the part new in a store.

I think it’s funny how more than half of the bad reviews are misspelled. It’s a junkyard. Read that over again. It’s a JUNKYARD. You unappreciative costumers are the reason it’s closing down. Now let’s see how you all find parts for your rust buckets in the whole Coachella valley. You guys leave bad reviews. But can never leave the staff you demand perfect service and assistance with a tip. It’s called pick your part. Not “ we pick your parts for free”. And those who cry about a entrance fee. It’s been 5$ for more than 2years. And most of you don’t even pay. But rather steal the parts. Than continue to complain about the cost of parts. As if you were gonna pay for them to begin with

Its alright if you need a specific part but you might just be better off ordering parts online. Half the cars are just barely supported in the air and Ive even found used needles in some cars. Then the prices are insane, I bought a rear end for an s10 and it ran me about 350 bucks and they wanted to charge me 40 extra dollars for used brake drums.
