This used to be a great yard. Low prices, clean, a buck to get in. Now it's a mess. $5 to get in. There is no order in the yard at all. All makes models and chassis mixed together in complete chaos. Parts are all over the ground. It's literally dangerous to even walk around. Cars are falling off the stands and some rows are so close together that walking down them would be impossible carrying a toolbox. Save your time and money and buy on eBay if you can wait a day or so. After time, admission and paying for the part it might be cheaper to buy the part new in a store.

Its alright if you need a specific part but you might just be better off ordering parts online. Half the cars are just barely supported in the air and Ive even found used needles in some cars. Then the prices are insane, I bought a rear end for an s10 and it ran me about 350 bucks and they wanted to charge me 40 extra dollars for used brake drums.

I got scammed here saying my card didn’t go through and I’ll receive a refund but never did get the refund, and basically charged me twice. one with card then with cash because he wasn’t letting me leave after charging me with my card, and didn’t receive a refund. so instead of $161.53 I paid $323.06 for my parts, that was in November 29th it’s now December 30th & still no refund. stay away from this place

charged me 1 part as 2, way overpriced, and got charged twice to enter once 5 dollars cash at the door and another 5 dollars when i went to purchase my parts listed on the receipt as a admission fee. for 4 parts over $200 so if you are looking for parts check the prices on the website because it’s likely you can find your part NEW for cheaper. and they will charge you $1.10 for each and every bolt and an extra $.30 for each bolt on top for a warranty on a junkyard part.

Edit: so much for "making things right." I sent an email to the email address provided and I received no response. They replied to this review so the "apology" is public while having zero interest in actually fixing the issue. End of Edit I drove over 100 miles to get there, paid the fee to get in, got my part and got in line well before closing time. Despite all that, the people who were supposed to help me check out actively ignored me then finally acknowledged me when it was time to close and told me to get out leaving me unable to buy my part.

The yard has greatly improved along with inventory tracking. Management has finally done the right thing with entrance fee. The fee is now credited to any purchase. Recommend that hours be changed to 7am opening during the summer between May 15th and September 15th. Reason being, by 9am the yard is frying pan. Open at 8am between September 15th and May 15th. This would be nice, and most people who work on cars like to get started early.

I remember when this place was great. I would get a little excited on my way there like a trip to Disneyland as a kid. Now I get sad and irritated. I know that it's going to be a pain in the butt to get whatever I need and it's gonna cost me almost as much as ordering a new part anyways. I make sure I check and double check costs on the website for every bracket, nut, screw and clip because they are going to charge you for it. It's an hour of research online every time just to decide if it's worth going. I need a driver's mirror for a pontiac rn and the research verdict is....autozone has a better price. I miss End of the Road, wish LKQ would gtfo. I did get a discontinued mounting brace for a chassis awhile back on short notice, it was 20 bucks for a single 8" long piece of metal, but it was same day and client was happy to pay it, so 2 stars but still don't like em.

What they hide way at the bottom of the website is that they charge what they refer to as "a modest fee" of $3 JUST TO GET IN!! I tried calling to ask if they had my part but you can't get someone on the phone. So I searched for the part on their website and all it showed was a picture of the vehicle. So I drove out there. After I sign the waiver, I'm told it's $3. I said how do I know the part hasn't already been pulled off. He said you don't. What the??? So these guys don't have an inventory of parts. Just a pic of the vehicle when it was towed in. Don't answer the phone when you call. And want you to pay $3 just to check!!! Go to a yard that is more professional and not trying to nickel and dime you. You even have to pay a core charge and extra if you want a warranty. Don't waste your time or gas money. And the road leading to them will have you needing new suspension by the time you get there.

I don't know what happened to this company about 5 years ago, but it has gone to an unfriendly level. The rules are getting tougher every day, prices have skyrocketed. Today I bought a few parts from them for my RAM, they asked for the right mirror without warranty $35 and this used with scratches and I dismantled it myself with my tool, HA HA HA, new mirror with free shipping on Ebay $42 with free returns (read how to warranty). Plus they charged an Env fee of $4.74!!!!! A separate theme is checking the bolts and nuts in your toolbox, it looks very humiliating. Such trifles were not perceived 5 years ago and the staff was very friendly and sociable, although the number of employees was an order ten time smaller.

This is an inexpensive place to go to get parts, but you have to take them off. They have a fairly organized method of placing the product once you figure it out. The only draw back is that you have to strip the part of all the hardware, or they will nickel and dime you to death. The hardware is less expensive online for new parts. That being said, they keep a list of their inventory online at lkqpickyourpart.com, and they have set prices that are listed on their site as well, so you don't have to worry if they are giving someone else a better price than you. They would get a 5⭐ rating if not for the hardware issue, but I do understand they need to make good revenue, because they're a for profit business. Otherwise, there is no sense for them to be in business.

Have been 3 times. Small and varied selection. All staff I have encountered have been friendly, helpful. The online inventory tool has been accurate almost to the space number of the actual inventory. Made it quick and easy to find my vehicle. $3 entry fee. They provide wheelbarrows for you to take in the yard to haul your parts. Gave 4 stars for Location is out of the way and the last mile to the yard is horrible with bumps and potholes The parking area is extremely small.and.tigjt with some of those spaces reserved for employees

Don’t waste your time at this yard, over priced and even if you know what you’re going for it will still be more then you think, went for a roof rack and they were charging for every piece even though some of the hardware was broken. Better off getting your parts online brand new then to waste your time picking your part and paying 82% of a brand new parts price. Don’t recommend and won’t be back, staff is rude if you question the price 👎🏻

Leave your Nuts in your car!! No seriously , they will search diligently for extended periods of time making sure there are no nuts and bolts floating around in your tool box. They will charge you for each of them if you try to leave with any that might have been missed. Place was great years ago.. now it’s a joke .. high prices(cheaper to order new online) and you are treated like a prison inmate to gain access or leave.

It was 1st time there and I thought it was a good 1st time. Prices were alright and the guy at the entrance was cool. Maybe the previous person who said that door guy was rude might of caught him time. Who knows but it was a good trip there for me.

I have been to a lot of u pull it yards from the midwest to the west coast. This is one of the poorest run places I have been to. The location is not convenient. You might loose a muffler on the road to this place. The staff there are rude and treat you like a criminal. Seriously, I think they hold all their customers in contempt. Prices are high, the yard is not well kept and cars are difficult to find. They have strange rules like "Stand over there until I can help you" and that was just to check in. Normally it is $2.00 to get into one of these yards. But not here. Instead it is $3.00. Why is that? Pulled a number of parts and got to the checkout. Bought a door and they actually charged me for the bolts to hold the door on! That's part of the door, but not here, instead it is another 47 cents a bolt! Who does this? They need to realize that the people that come there are the ones that pay their salary and appreciate them. There are other choices of places to go and I will not be back.

They have a good selection of import and American cars and trucks. Decent prices. Parking is limited so you may end up parking on the street. The online part search is a bit glitch, but you can scroll thru every vehicle on the lot. It will give you a location but none of the rows or sections are marked on site so allow some time to search for the vehicle you need.

Completely and utterly amazed at how rude and unprofessional the staff were. Also had to deal with a man urinating right out in the open for anyone to see. Glad my children weren't with me and the fact my wife had just walked away from the area. Then to have to deal with the prices oh my God completely way over priced. I could go to a store and get brand new parts for cheaper

I find the new staff (Jan. 2021 forward) very helpful and professional. I needed a module from a 2006 Lexus and I received a map to get to the car and a bottle of water as well. Found the car quickly and at a great price. Thanks Pick your Part!

The prices are good, and they offer wheel barrows and cherry pickers. The only down side is that the cars are all scramble or placed randomly in brands and models, which means that if you are planning to go, get ready to walk a lot.

Love this place . Just came from riverside cause I had a job up here so I figured I'd take advantage of it . Found the parts I couldn't find the locations down in riverside area and I've been on the look for months every day looking to see new inventory. EXPECT the cars to look how they are online because I sure was surprised to see the 09 hyundai sonatas almost all intact the day after they are normally stripped of the front end but these were up for months GREAT VISIT Sorry If it was a little hard to understand just had a long day .

These guys are the worst! I contacted them a week ago to get a rate for my car. They offered a price which sounded ok - and we SCHEDULED a time to pick up my car. They said they can't pick it up until next week 7 days later. So I waited and nobody showed up. I called and they told me their towing truck broke down and told me they will pick it up tomorrow between 7 and 2. Again, nobody came and when I called I was told pick up time is between 7 and 4.30 and if they don't call by 3 I should call again. Also, I was told by Maria or Mary she will try to get a hold of them and contact me. Of course nothing happened. After doing some research online I found numerous complaints following the same pattern. Not only did I wait for 7 days - on top of it I have spent 2 days waiting for these jerks. They are a bunch of pathetic liars. I will post this through the whole social media complex and customer complaint websites.

I've never been there before. They were helpful with that and explained what I needed to do. They Didn't have the part I needed unfortunately but only $3 to get in to the yard. Rows fairly well marked. I was able to locate 4 vehicles in about 10 minutes

It's ridiculous that you have to tell them that you don't want a warranty that is automatically added to the price of the part as well as having to pay for each item that is attached to the hood of the car including the bolt's that hold that part on and having to pay a core charge on top of that! Rip off!!

Even offered staff a gratuity to find the part for me n store it till tomorrow. They refused Won't be going there anymore. And I recommend you save your gas n time and do the same and go else where

ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS PRICES. YOU CAN BUY BRAND NEW PARTS ONLINE FOR HALF OF THIER PRICE. I WAS TOLD A USED BEAT UP 96 NISSAN MAXIMA MIRROR WAS OVER $50 WHEN A BRAND NEW ONE ONLINE IS $35 BUCKS. TRASH ALL OVER, VERY UNSAFE CONDITIONS. SHUT THAT PLACE DOWN. RIP OFF NO GOOD SCUM

The place is good but a little bit pricey that's why I go every so often and raised the price at entrance is a little much to.i do most of the shopping online.now after 13years of doing business with this company I sold them 13 vehicles clear title on all now today they want you too send them a pic of title front and back . I don't think so.😑 So that will be the last time I do any business.

The employee at the entrance has no customer service, he was harassing me about bring the core so fast. He was telling me he didn't see my car move and that I probably took the part off of the truck and brought it in. Before this I asked him if I could leave a part on the side so I could go back and look for more parts, and he said that if I left it and somebody wanted to buy it they would sell it. So I just paid for it and didn't go back in to look for more parts. I'll try the junk yards in indio before I came back here.

Very rude and unprofessional (Zeine) servie. Not only did they took more than 1 hr. To make the transaction but when I came up to ask if "did they know how much longer" he responded with a rude tone. You might not be a musician but I am sure you know what a tone is, there is definitely better ways in approaching customers Zeine...
