    Have bought several vehicles from here. No issues until this one - which happened to be the most expensive. in June of 2020 bought a 2015 Ford Focus that had issues from day 1. Had to take it to dealer for some recall work (thankfully) on the clutch/transmission. Worked my rear off to pay off car early, however did not completely pay off because Mark owed me a sight shield and was unable to acquire one at the time of purchase and I wanted to still be under contract with him to provide this part, I felt if I paid it off he would not honor it. Mothers Day weekend 2021, car randomly stopped running. Just would not start. Had to have it towed home. Contacted Mark and the only help he would give me was the name and number of some mechanic. Contacted him, and based on the description of the issue, did not want to take the job. That's fine, because his estimate was outrageous! Had another mechanic come to the house to look at vehicle and he refused to take on the job as well due to it possibly being electrical issues and could turn into a rabbit hole...nice guy, appreciated his honesty. Fast forward to Nov 2021, finally had car towed to dealership, it was there for several months and their Master Mechanic had never seen this kind of issue (that's another story). Final payment was scheduled March 10, 2022. That is the day that Marks Auto towed my car out of the dealership with less than $300 owed. The fact that I had been hospitalized for COVID pneumonia and was out of work for almost a month meant nothing. To get the car back, Mark wants over $1k, when less than $300 was the remaining balance, on the day the final payment was due per payment schedule. Remember the sight shield? Never got that either. Car turned into a MONEY PIT, and Mark is very unprofessional, has a disgusting attitude, can be very rude and nasty - which is sad since he owns Marks Auto. He is an unfeeling sheister. And his office help rudely hung up on me. Will NEVER do business with him again.

    I normally dont write reviews however this one is necessary. I took my car to Mark bc it was making a humming noise. He asked me to drop it off so he could drive it and tell me what he thought the issue was. I had to leave it for over three hours, I went to pick it up, it drove worst than it did when I took it to him. They are rude, his prices are insame and I would not recommend anyone leaving there car there to be fixed or looked at bc Im quiet sure he made the issue worst and was not able to tell me what the issue was. I sent him a text and let him know I will be reporting him to the better business bureau. I believe that if you leave your car there you will have more problems than when you take it there. All about getting moeny out of people. Horrible expereince

    Does not know how to conduct business, very unprofessional, has a disgusting attitude, very rude and nasty. Do not buy a car from him unless you are paying in full.

    The guy that’s name mark is so rude and unprofessional,I was very much patient and he was catching a attitude with me and asking me where I’m from like that matters and he said that “it’s his money he can loan it to whoever he wants to” ,he was judging me with out knowing me!!

    The short; purchased 4 vehicles without issue. Pricing has always been fair, customer service has been great.The long; I realize that I am purchasing a used vehicle. If it was perfect the previous owner would not have disposed of it. I fully expect to have to do maintenance and I check out reviews on a vehicle before I purchase. I also know that some vehicles have common issues and those issues may have to be addressed at some time.With this in mind I am aware I am purchasing a vehicle "as is" and that it is my responsibility to have the vehicle looked at prior to purchase by a certified mechanic of my choice. It seems from the lack of details on negative reviews I have read that these people are expecting things outside the realm of reality.Just keep in mind you are looking for a used car, do your homework, you will have a great experience here. FYI they seem to be always busy, that should tell you something.

    My experience with them has been great! Just recently bought my second vehicle from this establishment. They really took the time to listen and understand what type of vehicle I was looking for and kept it within my price range. The car is in beautiful condition and runs smooth! I will definitely continue to do business with them.

    Mark and his team are some amazing people. Their prices are unbeatable! Go look around and tell I sent you. They treat you like you're their family!!! Don't walk, uber or lyft anymore because Mark and family care about your wallet/purse and feet.

    I've brought 2 cars from here in the past year & a half & No issues with either of them,and I got them with no hassle..Mark is firm but reasonable..I will continue to buy cars from him & I will refer others there as well!! This is a used car lot with great deals & low interest rates, so u can't expect a brand new car with absolutely no issues,but I can promise u will get a descent vehicle for the price u pay💯

    Girl friend purchased a car from mark a week ago she took it back the radiator was leaking and running hot. Only 5 days he charged her 100.00 to fix it now u know she going to have problems soon because all they did was plug the hole for 100.00 dollars please make sure u take someone that knows about cars when u go to marks auto on Honeycutt
