Disappointed. I've done business with them many times (Mcdonough) and aways happy with the parts and service. They sold me a fender and skirt for my toyota, even matched the color so I didn't have to paint it. Bought many parts there for my cars over the years.. So when I wrecked my car again and damaged the same fender AGAIN, I called them of coarse! Spoke with some guy who kept calling me Brother. Said he only sells truck parts and told me to call covington the store, which I did. They were pleasant to deal with. I asked if I could have the part shipped to the mcdonough store. They said sure just call mcdonough and work it out with them. The guy at the mcdonough store had no interest in doing that, and again stated " I just do truck's here....Brother. You need to call the Covington location and deal with them.Guess I'll drive to Covington...Brother

Went there to get parts for my daughter truck. They were very helpful to her. They even answer question I had. I got a down home feeling from the place. I was even able to find some things for mine truck. Worth the drive.

Messaged back and forth with a "Derek" looking for Super Duty parts, he told me he was a specialist but couldn't answer my questions. Then, he blocked my incoming messages. I called their office and left a message for Jackie the owner to return my call, still willing to buy parts at that point. Derek immediately called me and acted like a tough guy. Very unprofessional. Will buy from a more reputable company instead. Still waiting on a return call from Jackie.

I've been to them a few times in the past. They are a little pricey in comparison to other junk yards however they do not allow you to pull the parts yet they have them somewhat inventoried and priced and they pull the parts themselves and sell you a used junkyard part at the counter. Which in my experiences is well worth the extra money versus the hassle and possible chances of getting a bad part or worse damaging it yourself making it useless and unreturnable. That's never happened to me of course. I'm speaking for others. Lol. It's always better of you can afford to let someone that does these things professionally everyday to handle the tasks they do well all the time. You don't save much money doing it yourself and the stress and aggravation will definitely bring your costs to much more than the savings would have ever been to begin with. And God forbid you're like most people who set off to the junkyard to repair their vehicle when in the end they typically stand still e a broken vehicle and now too deep into a project without the funds they started with in the same or worse position and they totally give up ok the vehicle and even then mcdonough auto parts can help. Because they buy vehicles in your yard and pick them up for free. Handing you a check for your junk they they will sell reasonably priced back to people one part at a time. I wonder how many times can a vehicle be sold and which parts are most frequently sold multiple times over??? I bet it's safe to assume that the cars parts can be sold to nearly as much as the vehicle originally sold for when it came off the assembly line. If not what it's sales price were, then at least what it's cost to manufacture were. Mcdonough used auto has got something figured out here and they even have such a demand for uniqueness in car parts they separated and have a truck parts division as well. And I've personally found parts that no one has for trucks especially older ones that this place has in abundance to the point they ask you: Hey what color would you like?? What color ? I replied.... He tells me for a part I have been told wouldn't be found in Atlanta by at least 12 other places, that he has over 10 of them md again asks me what color am I looking for... I afterwards felt dumb. Because honestly I didn't care what color I just wanted to fix my friends truck, and his asking me what color threw me off so bad I couldn't remember the color of the truck on command. It took a few seconds after I got off the line w the man. So don't be baffled if you call for a body part and they ask you what color because most likely if it's a vehicle made in the last 30 years, they're gonna have more than one already disassembled and in inventory or parked somewhere just waiting for the time they get to it and give it's parts another chance on the road Instead of going to the crusher. And even after they sell all the sellable parts they still get the money invested in the beginning of the whole process right back by crushing the rest for more than they paid to begin with. It's a win win for everyone bringing jobs and profit and a help people in lots of ways short and long term while environmentally helping through recycling and throwing things away that already went through the manufacturing process only needing seals or minor pieces replaced to be just as good as it was the first time. No need in buying a new part go see mcdonough used auto. Be sure to like my review or leave feedback/thumbs up or down to assist in the study of information sharing and most importantly accurate information. Not the more commonly used, disinformation. If you're unfamiliar w that word. You should stop reading reviews right now because research points to extremely large amounts of reviews not only being inaccurate but also changed by the creators or it's affiliates, The same places we are reviewing to begin with. I'm certain mcdonough used auto parts isn't in on that sort of activity so this theory shall prove it's worth in just a short period and your help will be part of changing the world. I think.
