Used to be one of my favorite go-to places for the longest time. Stopped by today and first I couldn’t even park in the front parking lot it was so full and crowded, then walked inside and barley any lights are on making the place quite frankly look rather uninviting as they clearly don’t even try to put any effort into the building anymore, and finally I’m told customers can’t go in the yard anymore to browse or pull parts. I was told “We don’t have that kind of insurance. Haven’t had that insurance in 3 years.” So turns out that’s when it must’ve changed owners. I presume due to the darn train yard being built making it harder to access, the old owners probably sold off to avoid going out of business due to losing the access/business from the main road. Couple foreign people working the counter weren’t very friendly. Sad to see how much the place went down hill from what I remember. I used to have good times and experiences there and almost always was able to make a good deal on parts with the old crew working there before the switchover. They look like they don’t even know what they’d actually have with how unorganized the place looks now. Guess from now on Amery Auto Salvage will be getting all my future business with their huge selection of cars, ability to go and browse the yard yourself still, and overall a pretty organized yard based off vehicle makes/models so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for. Oh, and they look much more inviting with plenty of room to park out front. I’ll miss New Richmond Auto Salvage and what it used to be with that nice small town, locally owned and operated feel it used to have. I had some great times going there as a kid with my old man when he was teaching me how to repair cars and bargain to get the good parts deals.

Needed some parts for my Chevy Aveo and they had the parts I needed, they got them that very day a few hours after visiting. Went back grabbed the parts I bought. The people there are very nice, if I have to get any other parts I will definitely be going back to them!

Needed vehicle towed and scrapped. Towed for free from 20 miles away and gave a fair scrap price. Friendly in my experience.

Took multiple weeks to process my request, they clearly don't have a call list. Finally contacted them on a Thursday and they took my order, engine head from a civic for 150. Guy on the phone told me to pick it up tomorrow afternoon. I get there at 4, an hour before they close, and they tell me ita not ready yet it will just be 20 mins. 1 hour later they finally got my part and I was running late so I just grabbed it and left. I go take a look at the head and it was sawed of the engine, he sawed straight through the intake manifold and left piles of metal shavings in the head. They clearly forgot I was coming and panicked when I showed up. Horrible service and bad prices.

Don't even waste your time here. Google says they open at 9, door says 8, no one here at 9:10. Place looks completely trashed out and probably closed down

Called around 10:00 a.m. to see if a pair of wheels were available. I was told they were available. When I arrived at 2:00 p.m. The guy at the desk said those wheels were gone because the wholesaler picked them up a week ago. Then tried to sell me on a different side of wheels that I did not want. I asked for $50 off those wheels and the guy proceeded to get upset with me. All very unfortunate because I drove an hour and a half there and back for nothing. Poor service.

I had a great experience working with the guys at New Richmond Auto Salvage. They helped me with tires and rims for my older truck after I had a blow out. Their pricing was good and their service was great. They are even open Saturdays which was when they changed my tires. Thanks for all your help guys.

Absolutely horrible business. Incredibly shady, had a guy come out and price our scrapped trailer for $150 after we took tires off. Went inside to get money and refused to pay us. Never will be coming back. Highly suggest avoiding.

Beware, shady dudes. Quoted a price over the Phone for four tires I got there they didn't have them the employee agreed to mount 2 lesser tires for less money. Once done and they didnt even balance them, the owner then decides he wants more money than what his employee agreed to. Also just fyi when the owner says "like new" he means 50% worn and dry rotted.

Called to get a rear end for my truck and was told they couldn’t pull it until it was paid for. I asked how long it would take to pull cause I was making a 2hrs trip to get it was told they would put 2guys on an hr at most. Got down to pay for it and was told it would take 3hrs to get it out and ready. I waited the three hours and came back. Still wasn’t even pulled. Still waiting for it and it’s been a total of 5 hrs. Never had this bad of service ever!! Never again will I make the trip so disappointed in what this place has become.

Called about junking my car. The driver didn’t pay me. I had brought it up and he was clueless. I called the shop and the guy said the driver was suppose to pay me. I was told to come in, but told them they can come back to me. Finally a week later they came out an I got ripped off.

Called and asked if they had the tires I needed. First they kept getting the tire size wrong after I repeatedly told them the size. Then they said they don’t have low profile tires after I told them there stock not aftermarket and that they are not low profile tires. Then they hung up. Terrible customer service.

Use to go here alot but now it's a joke. The prices are way to high for used parts. Scam... don't shop here, there's so many other places to go and cheaper prices. You've been warned. Shop at your own risk

Went in to get a part, made the mistake of telling the owner what the dealership wanted for the part. The owner then said the same price for the used part. He said, “that’s how it is” so basically he was saying.... I don’t care about anything but money.... will NEVER go back.

Dishonest people. If you call and they tell you they have the part you need, DO. NOT. BELIEVE. THEM!!! They lie. I drove 40 miles after receiving a guarantee they had what I needed. Didn’t have it. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME with this POORLY RUN and VERY SMALL outfit. You’ll be sorry.
