I give this company only 1 star because it will not let me give 0 stars. The people are nice on the phone, but they take orders on parts charge your credit card and then don't come thru with the parts. They did refund me my money. They do not return calls, and they have very very very poor customer relation skills, Morgan in particular, nor do they care if you buy or not. Mr. Murphy was nice but could not help because, Morgan who is the manager just didn't care enough to put forth any effort in making a sale or helping a customer that he lead on for over two weeks. I do not recommend this as I place to do business with!

This has been the worse experience of my life! I ordered parts for a car 3 months ago. They told me they wouldn't pull the parts until I paid for the parts in full (almost $1000). They said the parts would be available within 7-10 business days. It has been 3 months and they don't have the parts. I called everyday for 2 1/2 months straight and I had to call at least twice a day because they were on the phone with other customers, out to lunch or at a meeting. They NEVER called me back after they told me they would. They are nothing but con-artist! I reported them to fraud investigators in hopes that no one else will have to deal with this company again! No matter how hard it is to find parts for your car, don't go with them! They promise you that they are working on it, send you pictures but they have no intention on sending you the parts! This place needs to be shut down! I just recently found out THIS PLACE IS OPERATING WITHOUT A LICENSE!

This is the worst place EVER!!!! They were supposed to put in an engine for me, after I paid for it, and they never did!! They kept my car for almost two months and gave me excuse after excuse as to why my vehicle was not done. After the two months (nearly) we went there unexpectantly to see what the real problem was and found my car sitting in the lot NEVER WORKED ON! While the whole time the owner lied and said they began working on my car. They said the engine was out, then they were waiting for a part, then the owner was ill, then the owner was the only one who would work on the car!!! lies, lies, and more ridiculous lies!! Bottom line...Please if you want spared the unnecessary trauma just pass these people up!

My son purchased an engine for a 1991 3000GT. When it arrived, it was the wrong engine so we refused delivery. We are still trying to get a refund - this was in February. They claim the mechanic ordered the wrong one which is incorrect . There is only one engine that will fit this vehicle and they are still advertising it even though they don't have it. The mechanic has called them multiple times and so have we to get a refund. We have been hung up on, told they would issue refunds, etc and then they do nothing. I can't wait until Monday as we will be pursuing every available legal option. They must keep a notebook by the phone to keep track of their lies. Save yourself the headache and do not use them. Do your homework as I wish we would have done before ordering anything from them. The Web is full of similar stories from people who have been taken by them.

Shady business sold me a blown transmission they didnt have and ordered from some other location. Took 2 weeks for them to get it. Had to physically lift transmission with transfer case off the ground into my truck. After installing found out it was blown. Called in they didnt have a day to have a replacement but wanted me to return the blown transmission before having a working on. Showed up with transmission and transfer case to get my money back, guy stated that wont happen. Called the cops and was told leave the property. After that gentleman put his hands on me to FORCIBLY push me out the door so he could lock up and leave before the cops could arrive. They do shady business here and are not trust worthy. I spoke to Sherry multiple times and she stated they do not know when they will get a replacement transmission. It has been weeks now and I want my money back. It's sad this place is still in business for 7 day warranty when real businesses give 30 days to return or exchange a faulty part they provided. Also my phone records all conversations with proof that he is now denying he said.. The other gentleman pushed his way out the door almost running into my wife who said he could have said excuse me when he pushed her out of his way. His excuse he doesnt have to do anything she needed to move... Very rude and unprofessional staff at this place.. Stay away at all cost they rip you off and are thieves.. Now I get to file a case against them and sue these people to get my money back because they are DISHONEST and waste your time to steal your money to sell you blown parts..

This place is garbage. Terrible customer service. I had ordered an engine from them, took over a week just to tell me they don't have it yet, followed by offering me a refund, which I had never asked for. Almost a month later and I still have not received my refund or an engine. They seem to not care at all. They had told me more times than I can count that "they will call me back", lies. I would highly suggest not going to these guys, they are in it to take your money, period.

STAY AWAY! They sell parts they don't have in their inventory. They take your payment and after months of not having the item they refuse to give refund but making random excuses. They never returned phone calls. After dozens and dozens of calls a week for 10 weeks straight I still got nowhere. This is my worst experience in more that 20 years of dealing with different businesses. When you try to contact their main guy Morgan, according to their employees he's out to lunch from early morning to late night. They don't deserve 1 star! Save yourself lots of time and headache by avoiding them!

This place is a joke. They refuse to accept debit cards (Just Cash). They won't pull your parts until you arrive there and pay for the part, they charge auto repair shops a delivery charge come on.......... They have to check if they have the parts that you request even if you give them a stock number, they say they will call you back then forget to call you back. They are my last resort in the greater Harrisburg area for used parts. I Highly Un-recommend them.

Buyer BEWARE!!! This is a chop-shop that's after your money. It was a nightmare to try and get my $ back when I requested a refund, and I didn't, but I did get my part... Don't sign any papers for them and don't go to a notary for them either. They cover up their crooked acts by making you go to a notary and write a letter saying you won't pursue legal action before they hand anything over. There were so many "red flags" from the start. You may also be talking to a guy with 3-4 different names. They will also intimidate you over the phone and tell you they have voice recordings of you, even though they don't realize that by PA law the first party is to notify the second party they are being recorded. I hope that nobody has to go through what I went through with this very unreasonable and dishonest "chop-shop." Save yourself the time and trouble and go somewhere else. Emails will never be replied to, when you call, there will always be "a customer" on the other line, they will be at lunch, or some other excuse. Unless you are telling them you want to buy something, then they will listen because they want your money and you will not get it back. I can write a book about this but i won't. I will mention that the law was involved. STAY AWAY. After a personal visit it was clear to me that this is a true chop shop. There are multiple different names on the building and none of them are Progress Auto. Place is littered with parts and very disorganized. I never got to see the details of the car I got my part from and I waited for close to 2 hours before they gave it to me.

Very rude people! On 2/2/19 I bought my 2007 caliber transmission from them. It took them 45 days to deliver me a bottom cracked trans. after they cashed my check on 2/6/19. Cuz Emeka Morgan asked me $100 for selling me that trans.for $750 and I did not honor; now he is refusing to exchange it and said u can go to civil court somehow!!! To him, my 2 months warranty is over. (Which is not true). Be careful ! Dont deal with Emeka, fellows!

Least professional yard I ever saw. Rude, dishonest people from Haiti run it. Overpriced for the junk quality. Twice they screw me, traveled for nothing. First time damaged useless part I purchased did not check. The second time he brought me very rusty door which advertised as A 0 quality. They lie with the quality, pictures. Avoide by all means. Worse business in PA, everything is totally mess. I hope my review will save someone's time and wasted money. I feel bad for the people who order shipped.

I have over twenty years experience dealing with auto salvage/recycling facilities. This business is quite possibly the worst I have ever encountered. Especially considering the largely progressive nature of this industry with vastly improved customer service, this company isn't even a dim light in a sky of stars. They are an extinguished, smoldering crust of nothing. My transaction with this company was a complete disgrace. Their "customer service" could be called a joke, if it were even remotely funny (it wasn't). The staggering incompetence at every turn is unimaginable. They have trained their staff of lackeys to refuse to allow access to anyone in any position of power, which is immaterial anyway because they are just as useless as their subordinates. I can only hope this company will go out of business so that no one else has to suffer the infuriating indignity of attempting to conduct any transaction with this company. If negative stars were possible, this would be negative infinity.

Horrible horrible horrible business!! They do sketchy business. Wouldnt even show me paper work off the car we got an engine from so that car was most likely stolen and parted out! DO NOT bother trying to buy anything from him even if price sounds good because you will be in for a big headache!! Very very very dishonest people that have zero care for customer satisfaction. As you can tell by everybody elses negative feedback. Its not just one person thats leaving a negative. Make sure to pass their name on to friends and family to make sure they dont get ripped off!!!!!!!!

Worst business ever. Tried to sell me wrong engine and wouldn’t give money back. Had to dispute through credit card and it took a few months until I was finally refunded from credit card. Owner is a scumbag that only speaks broken English and will not return phone calls or take calls. He has his employees say he’s not there. But if you show up he’s there and is very rude and disrespectful. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!

Purchased an engine said would ship the next day. 14 days later it arrived. The engine was junk anyway. Metal in the base pan and completely clogged cooling ports. They never sent a reciept and still refuse to issue one.

Called to get some pricing on parts. I needed a bumper and fender. Have gave me a price of 100 each. From the dealership the bumper is only 108 and the fender is 80 BRAND NEW, and the are charging the same prices or more for USED parts. They arent they only salvage yards doings this. Just do your research and dont pay these ridiculous prices for used parts.

Well I should have checked their review first, horrible experience. I paid for an engine and after trying to get my money back 9 months of the run around I received the wrong engine and wiring harness was cut after I told the idiot Morgan I need it so many times. I learned a big lesson. I hope this will save alot of people the headache and stress of dealing with them. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I received a telephone call from them. That my transmission is good that I just need a front drive axle. They saved me $1500.00 good people

They told me they had an engine, brought the wrong engine, then told me it would be more money for the correct engine, then after weeks of dodged phone calls they told me they don't have any vehicles with that engine and they are waiting for a vehicle to come in. The bottom line is they take your money for a product they don't have. Avoid at all cost!!!

These people do not pay their debts. We delivered a vehicle for them before Christmas and they still haven't paid us; and this is after umpteen phone calls , Faxes and emails. We even took it to civil court and they didn't even have the common courtesy to show up. They have no respect for the working man or our judicial system.

***obviously most of the nonzero ratings for this place are from fake accounts*** 0 stars, typical disorganized scrap yard ran by foreigners. Sold us an engine with cracked oil pan that wasn't discovered until got it home. Refused to take any responsibility or offer any refund or exchange. If you can, avoid doing business with them. You'll literally need a magnifying glass as well as taking your life into your own hands to stand underneath a forklift, holding your engine up overhead with a bit of frayed seat belt. Their business grounds are on a gravel-stone lot and they must've set the engine down on a rock while repositioning to bring it out to my truck. There's absolutely no way it could've been broken this way in my truck bed or on my cement garage floor. Calling BBB and had to warn others of the risk.

Thanks for your help my mechanic wanted to scam me. He told me that I will need transmission. I called progress auto salvage. They priced me 1400 dollars. I was told about installation so that I will get more warranty. My car was towed to progress auto salvage. They checked my car and discovered I just needed an axle that cost me 75 dollars plus installation fee of 75 dollars spent 150 dollars and save 1250 dollars thanks

The staff started yelling and wouldn't let us get a word in, the guy was ready to swing on us. We had to call the cops on these guys.
