Very helpful, guided me where to go with different items to recycle . Cheaper than the dump for freezers, tvs, computer monitors ( free for tvs/monitors) They pretty much take it all no household garbage but metal wise.

Friendly and helpful staff. They made a stressful job very easy for me. No hassle scrap drop off. It can be confusing the first time you go to a facility like this, but the people were friendly, and explained where to go and what to do. I was in and out in about 15 minutes after bringing my rented trailer with 1000 lbs. of scrap. Overall a very good experience.

Ok came back a third time to see how it goes since I offered to change my review after speaking to the owner online who offered me better service next time how they pride themselves in good buisness. 42 lbs of copper supposed to be at $2.80 cents a lb for number one copper and I got like $2.02 cents a lb people who worked here were cool but got ripped now being my third time here not impressed or comming back shame on you the first time shame on me the second third don’t even know what to say but screw this place don’t gohere

I would not at all be surprised if the employees are pocketing a portion of the cash owed to the customer. I’m speaking to the owner at this point (I am sure you’ll respond with something about there being no record of us doing business with you). The mistake we made by being naive is not demanding a receipt that shows exactly what they determined the type of scrap was that we dropped off, the weight, and the amount they paid us. We went in there with shred steel (nevertheless, no matter what they determined the type of scrap was, there’s absolutely nothing that would warrant the amount they paid us) the scrap weighed 1,8400lbs they gave us $55. That would roughly mean that they pay $60 a ton, less than .03 cents a pound. UNBELIEVABLE. Do not do business with them. We’ve got at least 5 more loads of scrap weighing roughly a ton and will NOT be returning there, regrettably I didn’t do my homework first, I know better now. If you decide to go there—DEMAND A RECEIPT.

Love the place. Dealing with steel it's simple. Now when it comes down to the aluminum. Copper, and such and you have a trailer it's very tight sometimes impossible to get to where you need to. if trailer accessibility is improved it would be perfect. One thing nice to see is the owner getting just as dirty as us in the field. Respectful, helpful, and fair, you can't ask for more just trailer space. Need better trailer access.

This is my scrap yard for life. Always reasonable and very efficient. I had a indecent were i should of asked for a scrap price first and did not get what i was expecting. I spoke to the manager and he was very nice about it and took very good care of the situation. I learned a lot and will always recommend this yard to all my friends and family. Great business!

I would give it 5 stars and will if it makes sense. First off, super helpful guys there. Shane is awesome!! He educated me on the different metals I had and stated they are different price based on what they are. I had normal steal heavy duty steal, and dirty aluminium. Everything was great until check out. I'm not much of a scrapper so tell me if this is right. I had 850lbs. Of heavy duty steal, 500 lbs. Of normal steal, and 150lbs. Of dirty aluminium. It came out to $73.00. Just kinda seemed low to me

If you want clean, organized, professional, respectful, and best paying by far compared to other's in the same Summit/Spanaway area, but what I appreciate most is when I'am getting cashed out I'm handed a piece of paper with the entire breakdown of what I recycled that visit, example.... what each type of metal it was that I brought in, how much each metal weighqed, and how much I was getting paid for each type of metal. It really takes that feeling of did I get screwed over, or did they add everything up properly, as far as I know they are one of the only places that does this.

Always friendly, helpful, and just all around nice people that work here. There has been multiple occasions when i couldn't make it there until right before they closed and despite the fact that i arrived really close to closing time, they were still nice and have even helped me unload everything out of my truck. By far, the best scrap yard that i have ever been to. Hands down! Its always quick to get in and out of there. I have never had to wait for a available parking spot. I will happily continue to bring my business to them. 5 stars for sure!!!!

The workers are very cool. My problem with these guys is they pay about half ,if not more, then everyone else. I called one of theyre competitors this morning, and they were paying $2.20 and these guys were paying $1.15. And when you have about 150lb. that's alot of money. What a joke!

I've been coming to this scrapyard for several years. Dropped off several engines during that time. I go there this morning to drop an engine and the yard workers tell me the oil pan must be removed, because the other day they had a guy drop several engines and they were not all drained, though the guy said they were. This yard worker admitted he made up a rule on his own just the other day and refused to accept my engine. I said, "your website doesn't say anything about removing the oil pan." He said, "sorry Chief". I said, "that's the last time you'll see me", and I drove away. I would recommend taking your scrap engine to another scrap yard as these guys like to change the rules on you as they go. It really sucks to drive 15 miles just to get turned away because they don't believe you when you say you just drained your engine. It sucks worse when you have already dropped many other engines through the years and then they hire new employees who don't know you. They treat you like you are not honest. I'd recommend take your business somewhere else, so you don't have the same story. EDIT: I see the day after I posted this review they updated their website to say all oil pans must be removed from auto parts. Good. Now at least nobody else will have a morning like I had yesterday.

Wish I could have gave 0 stars. I brought in 1120 pounds of steel. Average cost is Around 32 cents a pound. I got $35 for what I got. Huge scam artists who I plan on taking to court for theft.

I needed to get rid of appliances and they couldn't have made it easier. Even offered to pay me if I wanted, but I was just trying to get rid of them. They told me to back up to the pile and throw them off and away I went. Very clean, very professional. Will definitely use them again. I've been to others in the past and this one immediately impressed me. Great work guys!

I am a 20-year service plumber who has dealt with a lot of recycling facilities over the years. I have been told over these years what is accepted and not accepted when it comes to copper and dirty copper. I have always made sure that my pipes are separated properly. I have used this place many times and will not use it again. I brought my yearly load of brass and copper like I did last year and the worker there tried to screw me out of my number one copper. He made his statements and I made mine I'm sorry I do not agree and have been told by many other recycling places what is considered number one copper. The worker stated that number one copper is basically brand new well that's not true and I'm sorry but this place will lie to you. I would not go to this place unless you would like to get screwed out of your money. Unfortunately it is very convenient but I will not be returning.

They have moved one block south on canyon and their new location is much larger and more roomy. They are located right next to their old yard. Wait time was practically zero. I dropped off a dryer and then I noticed that they take TVs so that is a huge bonus.

Took a truck and trailer load of scrap to this location. While unloading an employee using a heavy piece of machinery accidentally launched a large piece of metal at me and a friend which missed us by only inches and hit the side of my new truck. The owner was unreasonable and didn't want to resolve the damage done to my vehicle unless I took him to court. I would not drive any vehicle you care about here and you are also at risk of bodily harm. The object was roughly 2ft x 1ft broken metal shelving.

They give you a quote of one price, making you think you are getting a heck of a deal, then pay you a lesser amount. The person we delt with was very nice, polite in the beginning, went to settle up and that is when they get rude and the real true colors come through. To many tweakers come into this place, and that just made me want to reconsider if I should have brought my materials there. But the quote of a good price and my trusting nature got the best of me. I will never come back here ever again. VERY SHADY! To the owner ...I know you read these and don't like negative reviews, but as long as this type of practice continues, you are going to be getting alot more in the future. No need for further discussion on this matter.

Where to start with this review...first off this is Julian’s soon to be ex wife Julee writing this. Julian likes your business a little too much and is a small part of why I have filed for divorce. He thinks he needs to see you guys on a daily and I’m done with that. I’m hoping (and praying) that you still have the brass Buddha head that was a gift to my daughter from my son when she graduated HS last year, I’m hoping I can come buy it back. It was NOT his to scrap... I’m going to give your office a call when they open.

These guys absolutely rock! They pay top dollar and pay for all kinds of things that other yards wont even take ( such as a washer)Always fast and friendly service, usually not a long wait, very professional, guys that are in this line of work are usually expected to be creepy, try to hit on women and make sexual advances (ive had a fair share of creepy scrap yard guys) never have any of the guys made me feel uncomfortable or have tried to hit on me in any way. This is a big issue now a days and i really appreciate their professional behavior!! Will always come here

What a great experience! I’ve gone to other recycle places and seem to always experience a bit of a hassle. This place was great. I’ve hauled 3 tons of scrap steel here and it couldn’t have gone smoother. The people working here are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.

Really nice lady answered my question on the phone, it's 10 minutes away and really easy to find and pull into the lot, a very nice man stopped his work to help me, I just dropped off a broken microwave where to told me to put it - but he would have carried it for me if I couldn't have, NO COST!, and I was gone in less than five minutes! Kind, organized, efficient, local. I love them. My favorite new thing. That is all. :)
