Their lawn removal service was great! I had my name on a wait-list, they called when they had an upcoming cancellation. I decided to go for it. SO GLAD I DID! It was just the motivation I needed to get the water-wise, bee friendly garden with so much curb appeal I needed. I still had lots of work to do myself, but it was worth it. I also opted for the "Rocky Mountain Retreat" - *Garden in a box" adding drought tolerant plants to my full sun area. I did add a few others as well. If they survive the winter, then this is going to look AWESOME in a couple years!

Resource is my Happy Place! As an artist and custom furniture builder, Resource is like being a kid in a candy store. ...where all the candy is awesome, and really cheap. The Walnut Monster Desk was 90% reclaimed materials from Resource.

A local legend, they've won a customer for life! I love everything about this organization, especially what it does for local communities. I learned about them from their partnership w the Thornton H2O overhaul project. They have amazing tool sales every season. Please donate your used tools!

A donation place that would rather I bring a prestine pedestal sink to Ecocycle than take it for someone who may need it. Oh, but square pedestal sinks are accepted, just not round? Something about beggars and choosers comes to mind! Ridiculous!! Will never go back!

I am just amazed at the number of classes that have been provided for free during the COVID-19 pandemic. I signed up for all of them. They are via Zoom, introducing many area specialists in gardening, landscaping, lawn replacement, soil ammendment, native plantings, pollinators, beneficial insects, water conservation...Each class has links to resources in my area for free and/or easy access to all information. That is priceless to me since I am disabled and gardening (on good ) days is therapy to me but needs to be kept simple.

The Resource Central Sprinkler Consultation Service was incredibly thorough, helpful and eye opening. Our HOA had been on the wait list for a while and it was worth the wait! We received great advice on watering schedule, identifying sprinkler issues in detail and got great recommendations on helping our lawns and plants become healthier and more water efficient. We anticipate our water bill to go down by next year and looking forward to implementing all the recommendations. Thank you City of Louisville and Resource Central for your partnership and helping our HOA gain clarity on how we can do our part to conserve! Invaluable service. Thank you!

Update: Things seem to have gotten better again.Original: Starting to feel like this place is more about getting sticker prices than actually diverting stuff from the landfill. The longer something sits the more it costs. If you have "a lot" of something you can't get rid of, so you're turning it away, then maybe your prices are too high? It's supply and demand. A large supply the prices should go way down.Have sticker prices for those that will just walk in and pay it. Sure, I get it. But if someone makes a fair offer, I really don't see the point of dickering over something you got for free. ESPECIALLY, if there isn't a sticker price on it.It doesn't matter what retail is. A lot of the stuff is [who knows how] old and used. Something is only worth what someone is willing pay for it.I made an offer on some things I thought was reasonable (and turns out was) only to be told I was way off and then they grossly overestimated the price on them. All that does is leave them potentially not getting it and with a bad taste in their mouth.

These guys run the "garden in a box" program to 1) reduce precious CO water 2) promote pollinators. Both great goals. Ordering, picking up and planting experiences were all seamless and enhanced by clear instructions. I highly recommend based on my experience!

I have participated in numerous programs RC offers and am happy with all of them! The garden in a box is wonderful, and the water audit has helped me better program my sprinklers and use less water. The learning seminars are also great for landscape planning. I highly recommend their resources

Good selection of items for any sort of home improvement, I have been able to find materials for many projects here that would have been much more expensive elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they even helped me and my mom jump our car when the battery died!
