Tow truck driver was really nice and seemed like a good guy but was not completely trained or informed by the company he works for. My daughters got into a car accident and needed the vehicle towed. We were told by the driver that we could remove my daughters amplifier and other belongings at the salvage yard after the insurance company authorized it. Once we arrived at the salvage yard, I was told that I could not remove the amplifier regardless of what the insurance company says. I said that the driver also said I could remove it and the woman behind the counter said with a rude tone that the driver(who drives a Stepp's tow truck and brings vehicles to a Stepp's salvage yard all while wearing a Stepp's work shirt) does not know the rules of the Stepp's salvage yard. She did let me get any loose items from the car while she stood guard a few feet away. It just doesn't make sense to have people completely representing the company not know what to tell their customers when common questions are asked... especially right after a car accident, then have another employee get rude when the customer is confused by the sudden denial of what was already promised about something that 100% belongs to them.

Called from Clearwater and talked to lady in the office and gave year and make of vehicle. She said she had front lights and one rear light.I then drove all the way from Clearwater to pick them up and when I arrived they had nothing I could use on my truck . Its sucks at the price of gas to get wrong information on the phone to drive that far to be disappointed. Thank you for nothing.

I purchased a used engine from this establishment when returning the core a girl name Skyler was super rude to my father when delivering the core my father called me upset called Skyler and ask what the problem was she was very rude to me on the phone and demanded a receipt when I had paid for it online no one told me to bring the receipt invoice all they would have to do is refund on my Card she was very unhelpful and refused and then when I asked for a supervisor she didn’t know where he was.

Picked up 2 doors for my 03 Tahoe. Fantastic service! The girls in the office were so nice and quick to help. The 2 guy's that loaded them for us were very careful and nice. They even offered us a moving blanket to use to keep the straps from rubbing the doors. So awesome! Will do service with them again :)

They had to remove a windshield for me so I can reuse it. They did a good job and did not damage the windshield they removed.

Girls in the office were sweet and knowledgeable. Guys on the phone were over courteous and helpful. During the stressful accident it was nice to know they took care of the car

Being a business owner I want my employees to make us money not cost us money. I bought a radio that wasn't correct. Our fault we ordered it wrong. Not reading their returns policy I called to return it like Amazon or Ebay. Being a small business they have a policy to charge a 25% restocking fee. I respect that. They went further and offered me a store credit for the full amount instead. Great way to keep people calling. Support small businesses.

Hanna and Skyler very helpful ladies. You don’t see many females working in a junk yard. They didn’t have the part there but they helped me locate one. Will be back!
