Bought a motor that was supposed to be low mileage and it had a cracked block. Didnt know till i got it installed . they didn't varify it was good. Lots of wasted time and money.

They are typically 10%-25% more expensive than any other yard in the area and sometimes their used parts are the same price or near the same price of the part new on rock auto Buyer beware,I only use sunline auto when absolutely needed and there is no other option. There is usually a better and cheaper option than sunline

My jeeps radio died. They had a comparable one listed on their website for significantly cheaper than what's on eBay, so I called and bought it. They had it pulled within the hour and I immediately went to pick it up. It was a smooth process, and the receptionist was very nice! I deducted one star because I wasn't aware that I would need a code to operate it and had to go by my jeep dealership to unlock it.

Don’t call this company if you don’t want to be disrespected. My husband called just to see what they would offer for an Infinity G37X. The woman on the phone said they will give us $150 if we can drive it to them, or $100 if they have to come pick it up. She then started asking for our address, where the car is, etc. She finessed him into making an appointment, when we didn’t want to. We were only calling to ask a few questions. She said they would be here tomorrow to pick it up, so he asked if they would call first to make sure someone was home. She made it seem as if they were just going to show up and take the car without paying their little $100. It genuinely felt like they were just going to come and steal the car. He called back to cancel only a few minutes later. But now they have our address and know where the car is..so if we wake up tomorrow and the car is gone we know who it was. I do not trust this company and I am extremely uncomfortable with the woman on the phone and her scamming abilities. That entire situation was just disrespectful.

I just called about a gauge cluster for my pick up. The $75 cost for the cluster is not the problem the warranty of the cluster would be the issue. They do not warrantee electrical parts, but they do not guarantee that it works. in most cases I understand that you can’t give a warranty on electrical parts. But if you can’t, then you shouldn’t sell. It just sounds to me like anyone can scam and it is perfectly legal as long as they tell you there is no warranty. Even the gentleman I talked to on the phone told me he wouldn’t buy something from any place if it did not come with the warranty.. he then proceeded to tell me that even AutoZone doesn’t warranty electrical parts. I have bought many of things from AutoZone or Napa or O’Reilly’s that were electrical parts and was able to take them back. No problem.. having an on online sales, knowing that most of your customers will be out of state and it being shipped to them and anything that crosses the state line comes with no warranty. Not sure why you would buy from here. If I could give them, no stars I would’ve.

Called up ther and the guy was started out friendly and then had some sass when I wasn’t sure exactly what a number was to a part I was looking for. Because they had 2… but only one in stock. Which is fine and I get that. But there’s not need for frustration or even the feeling of being annoyed for me calling no to ask about a part. When I asked if I could just show up and pay for the part he said no he needed a credit card and then he would have someone pull it for me and then he’d call me when ready. Which is fine but again no need for the attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this place anyway they never have anything you’re looking for

I've been on the hunt for a few certain parts, and their website showed that they should have them. I went ahead and called them and Scott was a great help. When I showed up to collect the pieces he aquired for me, it turned out that a part was missing from one of the items and he said he'd go try to find me one. He called me 20 minutes before they closed and said he'd found it. I REALLY appreciate him for finding these parts for me. I'll definitely be a repeat customer any time I need parts. Well I went in and overall they seemed nice. I was frantic and he seemed to be genuine about letting me know about when the part would be off and I was shocked because it would take so long and I needed it faster than that. But he just reassured me he was keeping other promises to other customers. I get that and thought that was awesome. He told me he would call me when he had the part. I was very stressed and came home and never received a call. So at 4pm I and asked if the part was taken off. The man said " Yea it's been of since noon." I replied in disbelief "Well he said he would call me and I did not receive a call." And then to my surprise he said " are you sure about that? You don't have any calls from us?" I said " No I do not have one missed call or voicemail. Then also stated that I would rush over and get it. When I got to the shop they were all giving me dirty looks and were very rude to me at this point. So I grabbed the part and left.. when I went to put the part on it looked like it was about to fall apart. The part on my car was in great shape even though the arm detached from the gear. I'm so pissed off that I have to return this part and get a new one. I'll never go to sunline again. The guys are rude as heck and they saw the way the part looked and still sold it to me.

Called and ordered $500 worth of parts, was told I would be called when the parts were off in a day or two. Several days go by, no call. I called and asked about my parts and was told that they had no idea where my parts were and that I should call back after lunch to speak to another salesman. I called back and was told that my salesman would call me back IF my parts were ready and there was nothing more they would do over the phone. Not accepting this as an answer I drive an hour to their location and ask them about my ticket in person. Turns out all of my info, along with my credit card number, are sitting in a stack of papers on their desk and my parts were ready several days ago... All would be fine except they broke one of my parts so now I have to buy it elsewhere. If I wanted to buy parts from 3 different places I would have done so in the first place and not wasted my time with these guys. Time=money, these people obviously have no understanding of that. Not the first time I've dealt with them taking unreasonable amounts of time to pull parts that come off in 30 minutes. Respect and friendliness are also quite lacking considering I'm paying several hundreds of dollars for parts that are cheaper elsewhere. Shop elsewhere if you don't want to deal with B.S., runaround, laziness, and lies.

nice guys to do business with.. update: 10.26.20 I've now been doing a bit more business with this great group of gentlemen, as I occasionally buy bulk off them at those times when they are a bit overstocked. They help me in other ways as well, as we both send each other customers when we cannot help them with what we happen to have in stock that day for rims, tires, service work, etc.. I still wholeheartedly enjoy doing business with them and truly appreciate our great rapport 100% Thank You Sunline!

Very professional and made a difficult situation much easier! Had two rims get bent, brought them in, and the manager Jordan found the exact replacements I needed at a great price. They even directed me to a great place to get tires put on. Would recommend

Not the place to go for good customer service. If your looking for that don’t look here. I purchased a used tire. I asked if they had a warranty of any kind. The guy stated not on used tires. However there is nothing listed or posted anywhere regarding this. There is a sign that says no refunds if a replacement is available. I asked about the sign. He said they won’t do even what’s posted on tires. I asked if they can put the tire in the car? He said if he gets a chance. He has to help him he guy behind me first. After helping him he took a phone call and helped that Pete as well.

If Sunline has it then you will not beat their prices. They are very honest and their team all seem knowledgeable. Great personal experience anytime I've dealt with them. Ive even sent my mother there on more than one occasion and they were honest and up front with her. In the automotive/parts/repair industry being able to send your wife or mother in on their own and feeling confident they will be treated fairly is a rare gem these days, but that honesty seems the standard practice at Sunline. Highly recommended.

I have tried on multiple occasions to do business with Sunline and so far haven't gave them a single dollar. 1st time I asked for a part over the phone that they said they had. I showed up to pay for it and then they said they never even had it and didn't have time to check or pull it. 3rd time i tried for some oem hardware. And was told to just go buy it from a hardware store. Seems like nobody wants to or knows how to do their job. Highly recommend going somewhere that lets you pull parts yourself

They are friendly, helpful and affordable! Since they didn't have the particular replacement part for my vehicle, they were able to order it and have it ready within 1-2 business days! If ever in the future I am needing another part, Sunline will be the place I call.

Won't give a refund because it's aelectric part and they don't give refunds for those even though there's nowhere in their store that says anything about thay from what i seen and was not told about it before I got a part I didn't need

Absolutely horrible place. Their customer service is lacking. Smells like dead mice as soon as you walk in the door. Walk in the door two people at the counter one decides to answer the phone instead of asking to help me the other just stared at his computer as I stood there and then after a couple of minutes decides to ask me if I need some help. Told him I was looking for a tailgate nothing fancy just needed to latch. Gave him info, before even looking it up he muttered he wasn't sure if they would have one. I did not tell him that I had already looked it up and they listed having a couple online. He tells me they might have something that will work but that his workers go on lunch at 12:30 to 1 and it would be sometime after 1 before I could get it, however it was 12:25. For those that don't know, this is a NO TOOLS REQUIRED part. Told him that I cannot wait till then I already drove 45 minutes there and was on my way somewhere 4 more hours away. All I got was I'll have to wait. So I walked out empty-handed. I have never had a good experience with sunline, they're always the last place for me to look for parts, because every time I have ever been there they are always rude and lazy.

It's a simple place, it's a junk yard, you can't be too picky at a junk yard. I find the people really relaxed. They are not looking to provide the most excellent 5-star service but they are looking to help whoever walks through their doors the best way they can with their needs. I go here anytime I think that they might have the part I need. Most of the time I call ahead of time and they will even pull the part out. To be honest, they are great people to work with.

Well they leave other car parts I don’t need attached which is lazy, if you are selling me a used part take some pride in your job or go get a new one. It would have taken you three seconds with a disc grinder or a damn saws all(as you suggested to me on the phone.)The price you charged me for a rusty part was only 5 dollars less then the actual brand new part(not a deal) so ya I’d say two stars is me being polite.

Went there to pickup a windshield for my mother in law, that we paid for with Credit card. They gave us one, though it wasn't quite the right one. But Dave, the cashier/Clerk was cantankerous & just plain rude & disrespectful. I won't be recommending anyone else to go there unless they can't find the part somewhere else...

Drove 20 minutes to find out that I had to wear a mask in order to sign in and get a hardhat. Apparently masks are required. But so our hardhats however they are willing to provide them but not masks. Was denied service, even though I called in advance and was not advised to bring a mask.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one needs to be done. Very rude, they hung up on me, told me three days, then we wond up canceling my order. But they were the rudest people I have ever attempted to deal with! I will never think about doing business with these people and tell people who are around me to steer clear of these guys.

I called satuday the person on the phone was unfriendly I wanted interior door panels and he told me he would call back monday, he called wednsday said they would be ready at three pm. They were wrong color I drove 100 miles to get them he knew that and got black I wanted grey. Would not get me right color gave me a twenty dollar beak on price for them. Not nice at all not even apologetic take it or leave it and drive 100 miles empty handed. Have to be last resort next time will drive to Minnesota next time. They are friendlier and try to get you what you need. All I did was show up they could of at least been nice and polite and get right part.

They ask new prices for used part. Some of the people are great people but it's not like it was when it was vandykes. The owner forgot his roots and wont allow anyone in the yard money hungry. Use to be a fun place to go and good prices. Most people who write post probably never do research or work for him.

I don't like posting negative reviews but this place left a sour taste. Called to get a rim for a spare tire. Had to go and look at the year of the car as its not my vehicle. person on the other end of the phone gets huffy and puffy because I have to run and look at the year of the car. After 5 minutes of him looking at inventory quotes me $85 for a rim. Asked if i could go into the yard and get it myself and they don't allow people in the yard. Went to the next place on google and got one for $45 and I can get the part myself to make sure its in decent condition. Overpriced and Rude.

Called about a power window switch. Wanted to charge $50. I can buy a new one for $35-$50. I now remember why I stopped going there years ago. I can't imagine they'll stay in business much longer with pricing like that.

Well I had been looking for a hood, bumper, and fender for my vehicle and I came across Sunline , called them and asked for information. Jacob was able to get me more pictures, was honest about the condition of the parts and was faired price. I highly recommend Sunline for any used part. Got my parts in great condition and when I realize that the inner Fender plastic didn'tcome with I called just to see if they had it not expecting them to ship it.. they sent it anyway.. thanks Sunline
