    I went there to buy a steering column for Cadillac DTS. They sent me back in the yard to see the car and to make sure that it was the right part and was in good shape, which it was. So I go back there with the puller who was doing the work, He was having problems trying to get that steering column out of the car for a long time. In the end he just yanked part of the steering column from the shaft that that was a part of the steering column that connected the steering column to the steering shaft and rack and pinion from up under the hood. So we go back to the desk and they claimed that the part he left was part of the rack and pinion and to come back another day because it would take them some time to move the car and get up under it and disconnect the shaft from the rack and pinion. Two days later I go back and they charged me for the part that was a part of the steering column that he could not get loose and charged me for just that part without the steering column and had no part from steering rack and pinion. So I asked since this part is a part of the steering column, why Don't I get the steering column since it was a a part of the steering column since that's what I came for from the beginning. But you know ,I just said to myself that they can have that 85 dollars for being slick. But I will never go back also tell other people to be careful when dealing with them.

    HANDS DOWN WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH THIS PLACE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING DONT CALL THESE PEOPLE AND DONT PULL UP THEY WILL HAVE YOU WAITING WITHOUT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR THEIR THEY MADE ME GO BACK SEVERAL TIMES FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND SOME GUY IDK IF HES THE OWNER OR IN CHARGE WHENEVER I EXPRESSED WAT THE WORKERS DID ALL HE SAID WAS YOU ALREADY TOLD ME THEY MADE YOU COME BACK LIKE YES SIR IM DRIVING FROM 3HRS AWAY I BELIEVE ITS DEFINITELY IMPORTANT LIKE HE DIDNT GIVE NO DISCOUNT OR AN APOLOGY AT ALL THE PART WE BOUGHT NEVER WORKED THEY WARRANTY JUST TO MAKE AN EXCUSE NOT TO FIX IT I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE .

    I when there to get an engine end up going back because the engine was locked up had to go get another one and that engine is blowing the block is no good call them up about it and they said they have one for $100 and then I went there and spent $200 for the same engine get back home this engine is no good either

    The worst people to deal with that I’ve ever met in my entire life first, they loaded the wrong motor, then told me I had a 60 day warranty, then told me the next day at the house that if I didn’t bring the motor back the core that they would void my warranty when they never mentioned a core charge to me at all, we never talked about it I would not go there for anything unless you want a bunch of dumb ass people trying to screw you out of your hard earned dollar

    My son's car was totaled and I needed a place to sell the salvage in order to stop the wrecker's yard from charging me each day. I called Twin Lakes and they were the only company that followed up like they said they would. I got a good price and they got a good asset to sell.

    Called earlier this week to find a part for a customer, guy on the other end constantly interrupted me. Told me he would call me back when he's sure he's got the part. Never got a call back, so called in at the end of the week and got hung up on. Not interested in having my time wasted by this rude company again.

    Dishonest business. Was quoted $60 for a fender flare over the phone. Charged $150 when I arrived. Told: “I don’t know who you talked to.” Purchase made 3/12/24

    They tell you one thing on the phone then when you show up they tell you another. I buy from a lot of salvage yards, this one is a waste of time and money.

    I HAVE WORKED AT A WRECKING YARD FOR YEARS NOW, THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. IRENE THE OWNER IS A JOKE I ORDERED A WHEEL FOR ONE OF MY JOBS EMPLOYEES FOR HIS PERSONAL CAR, THEY SENT ME A PICTURE OF A DECENT LOOKING WHEEL THEN THEY SENT THE INVOICE I PAID FOR THE PART GOT CONFORMATION IT WAS PAID CALLED BACK AND ASKED IF THEY GOT CONFORMATION OF PAYMENT THEY SAID YES AND THE WHEEL THEY SENT A PICTURE OF WAS BEING BOXED AND READY TO SHIP, 11 DAYS LATER STILL NO WHEEL SO I CALLED THEY SAID THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THEN TOLD ME THAT IRENE THE OWNER DROPPED THE BALL. AT THAT TIME MY GUY JUST NEEDED HIS WHEEL THAT HE PAID FOR THEY SAID SORRY AND IT WOULD SHIP....... WELL IT SHOWED UP 23 DAYS AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW NOT THE WHEEL THEY SENT ME A PICTURE OF. I WOULD BE EMBARRESED TO WORK FOR A WRECKING YARD LIKE THIS, DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. JOHN@WHITEYS

    They had a very friendly staff and were at a convenient location. I got there just before closing, but they did not rush me or have an attitude, but encouraged me to go ahead anyway. Great prices alone would make it worth the trip, but they seemed respectful, helpful, and like they really wanted my business.

    Twin Lakes was awesome! They picked up my car within 24 hours even though I didn't have the title on me. The title was out of state so we made an agreement that they would pick up the car and once they received the title, they'd send me a check for the car. Keep in mind the car was completely totaled. I truly appreciate them for doing that because the shop where my car was wanted to charge $30 a day storage fee. So thank goodness they picked up the car quickly. They were excellent service providers and super easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them!

    Their customer service is beyond trash. Do not go here. Went here because they showed a couple of transmissions in stock. When I arrived the guys in the front were drinking beer and completely ignored the fact that I was there. Finally a guy came out from back and asked what I needed only to say they couldn’t find the part. Terrible business. Unfortunately I can’t rate Zero stars.

    I put a A/c compressor on layaway for $20 . The lady said thats all i had to put down until i could come get it . 3 weeks later they're saying they dont know what im talking about and they dont have the part .

    I was looking for a standard transmission. I found one here. I went to look at it, and got more parts that were not pulled off a car yet. I paid in full for all of the parts and came back the following week to pick up parts. A week later, I came back. Half of the parts were pulled off and one part did not exist because someone else had already purchased it. I was not refunded for the missing part, and the other parts were either broken or severely deformed when they removed them. Again, no refund was given for these F'd up parts. I leave with my standard transmission, a pile of non-functional parts, and one pissed off self. I should mention nobody there truly understands how a car works and there was a large language barrier. Anyways, I swap out my transmission, drained and filled with fresh transmission fluid, started car, put it in gear, and drove around the block. After about 4 miles, I can definitely tell there were internal issues with the gearbox and it needed to be rebuilt. This is when I felt a little disappointed after I was told it was properly working. The next day, I called to warn them I was coming back for a warranty claim, and they verbally agreed. I uninstalled the transmission and took it back. Long story short, they did not honor any warranty and refused to give me a refund. I am in the negative $700 - non-working transmission, and a pile of non-functional parts. ***NEVER COME HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.***

    They gave sold me a bad engine. Problem one two manifold bolts broke in the head. I have to have that fixed in order to put it in my truck. I called they wouldn't even give me a store credit for that labor. I put the motor in the truck it has a knock when you first crank it then there is so much blow by it pushes oil out of the dip stick. No warranty on labor so after all that it still runs like pure crap. They claim they test the engine. Know I have to get another motor from them and there is a strong possibility it will be crap too. They refused to give me the owners name so I can talk to them about this experience. Also they wanted me to perform more diagnosis on there engine like I have more time and money to spend on the crap engine. I am pissed

    Horrible experience! Wasted four days of my husbands time he needed to have to install the engine he bought from them. Sold him junk the first day full of sludge, second motor rusted out cylinder valves. Finally, third motor pulled was actually the motor my husband initially asked for! Wont ever go back and will not refer. Very unprofessional. Owner doesnt speak English.

    *** SCAM ALERT!!! **** Spoke to Karina on the phone. She tells me I have to pay for the part before they will pull it. Then proceeds to tell me that I cant get a refund if the part they pull is not the right one.... what kind of place are you running?

    0 stars is my rate. Very crapy service they ignore you even though they see you standing in fron of them. Very rude especially the young lady. If you dont want to work or help people stay home. One comes to spend money not get treated like trash cause your having a crapy day. Do not recommend to not even my enemy.

    Bought an ignition coil from them and I was suspicious because the engine looked flooded. They all assured me that it should be ok. It is bad. Of course they only offer store credit. No refund

    My first time coming here was awful they didn't even have car i was looking for and there customer services was horrendous. i even try calling them before going up there was huge waste of time, also they don't speak english very well. i would not recommend coming here!
