Hiding in my backyard I found my new spot for restoration parts for my grandfather‘s pick up truck.Searching high and low for some new wheels for my 93 F150 Flareside, I accidentally stumbled upon union auto wreckers. I have been doing business with them for over 2 decades. Recently I needed some for a antique vehicle & they had it for a very reasonable price. They are very knowledgeable & very well spoken.

So, their website and Instagram flaunts that “we have all your auto part needs , come look at our large inventory” but when I called and asked for used parts on my early 2000s car, the person on the phone couldn’t have sounded more annoyed, and told me “we don’t do that here , go to Buywise in union.” … like, bruh. The part I needed took me 10 min to remove at home, and I really wanted OEM fitment, not some generic autozone/parts store brand. Its not like I needed some deep engine internals that would be a pain to get to either. I would have loved to grab other parts too, maybe find out if they had my generation vehicle in stock to pick random parts from, but whoever answered the phone that day didn’t really seem to care to help. Guess you can’t really expect more from junkyard mechanics.
