Wow I don't even know where to begin. My friend was looking for an alternator for his car so I was calling junkyards to see if I could find one. I had spoken to many and many have told me we don't know what we have. You need to come in and walk the lot. Something I didn't plan on doing as my friend has just had heart surgery. So I called Windsor and an amazing man. Answered the phone and answered all my questions. He even took my name over the phone and I told him we were on our way to visit him and pick up the part. Jeremy and Frankie were amazing. This is a family owned business. We ended up talking for a while and they are such good people. They also buy junk cars. If you need to sell them. I definitely would return there for my autos needs. I definitely say this is the place to go of all the people I spoke to this morning, they were the most knowledgeable and amazingly polite.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS JUNKYARD!! THEY DO NOT HONOR WARRANTIES. Bought an engine with warranty, the engine had a major oil leak coming from the crankshaft and camshaft seals. Had to remove the engine afterwards and redo timing and all the seals since they claimed I should've replaced the seals before installing the engine. Which doesn't make sense on why I would buy an engine because it needs timing to buy an engine I would have to redo timing on. I will keep this review up until the issue is resolved, so if you still see this review that means they did not resolve the issue and obviously do not care about their customers and will not honor warranties. If I lived in the area and was able to go to the yard myself and maybe they would have a different attitude since they'll have someone face to face that they have to confront and can't hide like cowards.

Don't understand what their problem is, but called in for a part one day, was told a price and 30 day warranty. Next day when I called to pay for it, was told it was now more expensive, and no warranty. Then the next day was told they didn't have it... not only that, but the attitude over the phone was ridiculous. When I told them on the second day about the fact that I was estimated a price significantly lower with warranty, that's when the attitude started in thick. P.s. I found the same part I needed at gavins for $75 cheaper, and a 3 month warranty.

They were very nice and had what I was searching for. From now on I will start here!!

Went there to check for a mirror guy at the counter said I had to pay $30 for it before he would take it off of the truck which is fine, I just needed to make sure mirror was intact. Check their website just now they still have the part I need but now they're wanting $50 for the mirror, but yet they're still too lazy to get off their butt to go and at least check to see if the glass is intact. This place is a joke!

Great service every time. They even fixed my car after I foolishly hired another bad mechanic from the neighborhood. Windsor's mechanic was great and worked quickly to repair the work correctly and kept the price as low as possible. This was the 3rd time I had great service there.

Was promised the paid part would be ready for pick up the next morning. Was told I would get a call to pick it up. Never got a call. So when afternoon camee, I just went to the business. Was told it would be ready " sometime" that day. I asked for a refund. Then as I left I was stopped and told the part was ready. So they delivered but with a hassle to get it.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a salvage yard so parts availability is the luck of the draw but they had trim pieces for my 2004 Tacoma that I hadn’t been able to find for years. I showed them what I needed and 15 minutes later the parts were pulled and showed up at the counter. Price and service were terrific.

I’ve got to say the owners and employees of Windsor were a blessing to me and my granddaughter ! Their honest help and fairness with her car amazed me… another shop told me she needed a new engine $ 6 to 8 K Their mechanic ( Jason )got her on the road for $ 500. !!! —— they deserve lots of respect. Give them a chance and you’ll see too. !

I called to get an alternator for a 2007 toyota camry le, and they delivered. They were polite and courteous. They had the part pulled and ready to go within 15 to 20 minutes after paying. Just enough time for the misses and I to get some lunch down the road.

I went here on 10/16/2021 looking for a transmission for my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD and was sold one by this company. They told me that it was a complete transmission, sitting on their shelf since 2014 and I trusted them in that knowledge since I don't have a lot of knowledge of cars. I walked out excited to get my car working again. When I got home, my mechanic and I took a look over the part and he said it was weird that it was rattling. He opened it up and it was missing half the parts inside, metal shavings were rolling around in the pan, the valve body is missing, the electronics looked like they'd been picked out, the screen that goes on top was missing, etc. They had sold me an incomplete transmission. I thought maybe it was a mistake and brought it back a week later to return it since it was useless to me and I had a guarantee on it. The two men I talked to refused to give me my money back, accused me of stealing the parts I needed and trying to return it. I was upset and hurt by the accusation and had trusted these people to do the right thing by me. I paid $600 for what I was told was a complete transmission and had been ripped off. Now I have a car that won't drive and a transmission that won't work even if I had it put in. Would not recommend or buy salvage parts from ever again.

Pulled the wrong part after giving me the run around for a month on the phone. I should have known then it was going to be a problem!!!!! I never have been given the amount of excuses I heard as to why I couldn't get a part pulled before in my life. Then you pull a part that doesn't fit??? Get it together up there!!!!! I'd hate to think you guys out here trying to hustle people..

Terrible customer service. Will yell at employees in front of you. Awful telephone courtesy. Offers a 30 day warranty, but will blame the customer if an engine needs to be returned. Was sold a motor with a rod knock and upon returning it was told that we must have been “doing something crazy in it” and that the owner “knew he should not have sold it to us”. He searched for a heat stamp for about 25 minutes in an attempt to void the return of our $400. After not finding it on the motor, searched for photos and could not find any. After showing him our photos of the motors sale ad, he realized they had never even put one on and we were finally refunded our money. PSA: after installation the motor was not even driven 50 miles. my husband is a dealership technician and installs motors for a living. Drove four hours round trip to pick up the motor and spent the same amount of time to return it. Save your time and money. Avoid this place and you’ll avoid buying crappy parts from a terrible “business owner”

My previous post I was ANGRY I said dont let them work on your car . I dont want to get sued Personally and in my opnion I won't let them work on my vehicles.
- AAlejandro Cartaya
Never have nothing, they always sold any part you need. And if they think they have it, they need check the next day and after that need another day to pull it out if you lucky enough to get a call back. Even with the simplest part. Even a spare tire they tell you to come the next day. Just another lazy junkyard.
- CCarmen Cruz
Adam assited me with the best customer service. Even though they didn't have the part I was looking for he made sure I got the part in another place. Adam was kind enough to make the calls to ensure I had the part. Beyond my expectations.

Used their eBay store front to buy used HVAC control. Item listed for free shipping. Two weeks later after I’ve sent two emails inquiring about where the item is with no response, I finally look up their phone number and call them in Florida. Man on the other end of the phone extremely rude, tells me they don’t ship to Alaska, even though free shipping without exception is listed on the auction. I asked them to refund my money based on their claim they don’t ship to Alaska. They cancel my order with EBay by using “customer request cancellation“ which is not factual….I asked for a refund because they refused to ship the item free as they advertised. Very deceptive I see the pattern on other reviews. My recommendation would be a buyer beware scenario when dealing with these people.

Had my ford in for a 100,000 mile tune up. They did a great job, the car runs smoothly and has great pick up. These guys have the best service around and their prices for the work being are good.

Offered to sell me a vehicle for 1000 dollars but said give him a week to find the title and not to pay until then . waited a week to call then was told his mechanic had offered him 1500 for this same vehicle and he would sell it to the highest offer. Vehicle wasn't even marked for sale until I asked about it and had I known they would conduct business this way I would have paid for it the first day. Be careful about dealing with these people!!!!!!
- BBig Daddy
They were extremely helpful . They didn't even have the part I was looking for. Larry Carson found the part elsewhere and retrieved it for me ! Great people to do business with. THANKS LARRY!

Called ahead for an used part for my car. Older Guy says he has definetely FEW of them ready on the shelf, told him cool i'm omw. I get there soon after and took him 20 min to tell me there is none in the shelf and the only one they got still on a car and has to be taken off... Hmmm how convenient. Then another guy tells me if I gotta leave a deposit and come back tomorrow because he's not sure if it has time to do it today. So not only he made drive over there to tell me he aint got it ready but also tries to trick me into paying him ahead. Ain't falling for your games dude i never heard an apology even for wasting my time in the first place, that just proves he's not a guy that I can trust with my money.
- CChris redtail

- MMerrilee Crank
I was thete and talked with them, they didn't have the rim I was looking for but they ask for my # incase they found one. It was very clean and they were very polite.

This shop sells you incomplete parts, then when you find out it's missing half its internals when you get home. Deny their own return policy to steal as much money as they can.
