Address:973-B Mission St, San Francisco, CA (Zipcode: 94102)Open hours:Open from 21:00 am to 00:00 pmStatus:ClosedThe service was terrible-- I brought in a ton of scrap metal and calcium scraps, and they just wouldn't take it! They kept pretending to be a school or something. Edit: As it turns out, the real scrap metal and calcium was the friends I made along the way. 5 stars, easy.

Address:1801 Evans Ave, San Francisco, CA (Zipcode: 94124)Phone:Open hours:Open from 07:00 am to 15:00 pmStatus:OpenI had to post this place only because I had to visit and drop off this water heater. Years ago I used to drop off metal here that I never used. One time I had a boat trailer and I cut up then brought it down to this place and they gave me $35 for scrap metal. Another time I dropped off 200 pounds of mixed metal weights iron and other scrap that weren't separated they gave me less so it's best to separate your Metals in order to get the right price . This water heater was supposed to get picked up from those people who drive around picking up free scrap metal . He never showed up so now I'll dump my own stuff from now on hopefully you can do the same. I wish I could tell you the hours but here is a picture maybe it'll help they also have a phone number you can call and find out. Drive up to the window to weigh the material and have your I.D. ready. Let them know what kind of material you have best to separate that way you get a better price. Free if you're dropping off no problem let them know and drive to the back and dump it at gate five.
My relative needed a part for his car. We called ahead so we wouldn't waste time. But they did have the part in stock. The guys up front are friendly and very intelligent and smart about automotive. This place is 1 of the last dismantle shops around. They have been in business a long time. Prices seem to be fair and for some parts they will work with you to make sure your happy. FYI this place sells used parts. Just needed to pass that info on. Overall I have no complaints about this place I'm glad they are still open. Stop on by if your in need of a used part for your car you won't be disappointed. Thumbs up
