Highly recommend!!!!! First thing that I want to say is the the young lady that answers the phone when you call them is a joy. I have worked in tourist industry for a very long time and customer service is key and I am very experienced in the field. The first contact with Scrap Monkey is on the phone and this young lady is AWESOME! I could hear that she is happy with what she does. Polite, professional, joyful, and very helpful ... answered all my questions without hesitation and came across confident. She is the first personal contact with the customer and I will say she knocked it out of the park. Good Job!Ben and his co-worker were here on time ... like right on time :) I showed them my "embarrassment" of stuff and Ben told me the quotes for the different loads. Which was explained during the phone call. It was comforting to hear the same quotes or costs. I went with a full load because there was A LOT! Again ~ professional, polite, joyful and hard workers. With no hesitation the 2 men began cleaning up my mess and leaving all the areas swept and clean. Very impressed.I am super happy with their work, attitude and professionalism. Gage provides an exceptional service. The project was the removal of a 10’ x 10’ concrete slab. We agreed on a time and price (very reasonable); he was on time and ready to go to work. He was professional, worked hard, and completed the job on time and within budget. He did an amazing job. When the removal was done, he cleaned up the debris and leveled the ground. You would never know the concrete was ever there. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. If we could give him more than 5 stars, we would do so gladly. She called several times they kept saying they were coming. They never showed my wife sat on the side of the road for over 2 hours. Called another tow company they were there within 15 minutes.

Just experienced my first trip to Recycling Industries in Yuba City today. No lines (I've spent 45 minutes waiting at a nearby transfer station), no smells, employees helped me through the entire process. Amazingly clean. Super convenient - with no traffic the drive from Recycling Industries to the Marysville transfer station is 15 minutes per google maps. Rates are comparable to Marysville transfer station. Locally owned.

The guy helped me look for everything I asked and even went to his yard to double check inventory. Great service. Wish I could look at their inventory online without driving here... I know I can call! But sometimes I like to browse for stuff I don't actually need... Don't others do this sometimes also?

This place will try to rip you off!!!! They tried to offer me $10 dollars for a large GM bead catalytic converter when average market scrap value is 170 and ^ shoot if anyone plans on That I'll pay $15 at least then someone honest can cash out on that rip.

They removed my first review. Do not! I Repeat! DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING HERE! They are unethical and do everything to screw you from recycling your metal. Best part is that they don't even take scrap. I needed to dump my old rims, so I did. They gave me zero for it. Nothing. Said they didn't have a weigh master so we can't give you anything. so I left them there anyway. But after the "service" I got, I gladly would have deposited them through a window instead.DO. NOT. GO. HERE.GOOGLE REMOVE THIS BUSINESS LISTING OR RED MARK IT.

Dont go in with large quantities. I weighed it before i went in. They didnt right the weight down and they made sure i couldn't see the scale. I know how much i had and they got me for about $30

Would usually rate a 5 star but their lack of concern for their customers especially when closing early on a holiday is ridiculous. Is it says you're open until a certain time, then you shouldn't be able to close the doors early. Ridiculous and rude!!
