I used to always go to Jon scrap in Columbia, who was a great guy. However, they just closed and I needed to find a new place to scrap and I found This place. It is just as good!! I am going to keep coming back

Best scarp yard in hartford. The staff are super helpful and very friendly. Not sure of its family owned but it sure has the feel of a multi generation family business. Don't waste your time at other hartford scarp yards make this your scarping home

I though I did a review here but maybe not? If so, it's worth reiterating. The part I was looking for was hard to find n every place I called that listed it in inventory had sold it already. People were great to look up inventory on a shared system n point me in the next direction. I ended up at Parker Street Auto n it was great. I was going there directly after my call. They had my item out n ready, asked if I wanted to inspect it- it was in great shape n they even cut me a deal and put it in car too! Great people. It's a longer ride for me but I'll gladly do it again should need find me. Gets the recommend for sure.

I contacted cash for clunkers about purchasing my car. They immediately contacted me after I filled out the online request. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely nice, and walked me through the entire procedure. He coordinated with a tow company to pick up the vehicle. They came exactly when they said they would. Everyone was extremely polite and did what they promised. I was able sell my car and had a check in my hand within 48 hours of contacting them. I couldn't have been happier! I waited about 2 months to contact this company because I didn't want to deal with a headache. Boy did they prove me wrong! I highly recommend them!Service: Vehicle purchasing

I don’t know where to start because I’m over the moon with everyone who works there and every interaction I’ve had with them! They have always been upfront, honest and spot on whenever I would ask them about an issue with my car / needing a part for it / Honda info in general. When someone side swiped me leaving my drivers side mirror on the road, they had an exact one to replace and it was super cheap! Still on there works like a charm! When my visor came off, I got one for almost nothing. The list goes on with how many Honda parts I’ve replaced with their parts without any issues! They also helped me with an Acura issue of my daughters which was so amazing-no one else would have gone to the lengths they did to help out! I love everyone in the office and how they treat me like I am an old friend when I come round! Excellent service. Beyond fair prices. Never shady, always honest! Honda and Acura owners should all know this place!

I'm a Electrical Apprentice and am CONSTANTLY recieving scrap wire from the trade. The team of great staff along with very great rates and prices for all your scrap will definitely have me returning again. I would definitely recommend this place for sure 👍
I've had good experiences with this place. I've gotten a hood for our 09 Forester, and today I picked up a door mirror. I usually find the parts first on car-part.com, then give them a call to confirm they still have it. It's your standard used parts/junkyard/auto recycler. Just be straight forward about what you need. Keep in mind they need time to pull the parts, so try to coordinate the best you can. Paying with cash is easier here.

Was told if we were there before 12 the we were able to scrap our things and we got there at 11 56 the only reason we traveled the half hour to them was because we were told this then upon arriving was told rudely that they were closed and couldn’t do anything for me...

Had the part that was looking for at a good price 1 day turnaround time and I needed the spindle Hollywood driver side fender I can see that pretty quick I'd recommend anyone else who's looking for used car parts to go there
I’m gonna be completely honest to anyone who’s reading this. If your car gets towed here, be ready to pay $250 minimum and to get no type of friendly customer service in the process. Those fees are not just for storage or for every day you keep it here, but for “labor” and other charges that don’t exactly add up. I expected to pay a decent amount, don’t get me wrong, but paid $340+ and they would not let me see the car whatsoever before paying. The owner and workers are very very old, and one was pretty nice on the phone but there’s a lack of communication between all of them. We called about my car (it got in a bad accident but was drivable, in which we didn’t know as the cop towed it without really asking directly or checking the car itself. I was too overwhelmed to check it myself.) The one that we called said the car was completely drivable, which is why we paid the fee and wanted to get it out, but as soon as we got out there and paid, the car would not start. Then, the owner claimed to have never said it was drivable even though we were told it was. He also told us the window was broken, which was a lie, in which he just assumed it was because there was a tarp on it that they placed on it. Again, just a lack of communication between the workers that stressed us out for no reason. They’re mechanics and offered us no help whatsoever, (like cmon, they watched us struggle to turn it on and said nothing. we had to find out ourselves that it wouldn’t start because it went into crash mode and had to be reset) as when we got it towed through triple a and brought it home, we immediately were able to turn it on through taking out the battery and putting it back in. Even the triple A guy gave us a ton of advice in turning it on and what to do with it. They just didn’t wanna bother whatsoever. At the end of the day, they don’t have to help us, but their customer service is awful and good luck to anyone who gets their car towed here. Get it ASAP!
