Address:175 Kelsey St, Newington, CT (Zipcode: 06111)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThis place is Fantastic! Needed a new blower motor for my Hyundai as my A/C was not working. Looked online and was shocked they apparently had one for $30! Less than half of another used part store that had one and just a fraction of a new one. The other place had a 3 day wait to get the part from another vehicle so I called here. So glad I did. Exact part I needed and a perfect fit! Thank you Newington Auto!

Address:26 Fishfry St, Hartford, CT (Zipcode: 06120)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThey quoted us 160 a net ton on a 53' trailer delivered. After we paid to ship the thing, and they received it in the yard. They refused to honor the quote. We have email correspondence substantiating the matter. They basically changed their mind for no apparent reason. I would say its very unlikely they are operating a legitimate operation based on our experience.
Another great visit/purchase at Tom’s. I needed a 01 Grand Cherokee alloy rim( 5 spoke “Hollander” type). With the great assistance from Mike at the counter- he found my exact rim. He graded it a B, I graded it a A- with barely a slight curb rash area. GREAT PRICE!! It’s going out for a chemical dip and all of my other rims to my powder coating guy. Again, many thanks Mike, nice chatting with you about Grand Cherokee’s
I’m gonna be completely honest to anyone who’s reading this. If your car gets towed here, be ready to pay $250 minimum and to get no type of friendly customer service in the process. Those fees are not just for storage or for every day you keep it here, but for “labor” and other charges that don’t exactly add up. I expected to pay a decent amount, don’t get me wrong, but paid $340+ and they would not let me see the car whatsoever before paying. The owner and workers are very very old, and one was pretty nice on the phone but there’s a lack of communication between all of them. We called about my car (it got in a bad accident but was drivable, in which we didn’t know as the cop towed it without really asking directly or checking the car itself. I was too overwhelmed to check it myself.) The one that we called said the car was completely drivable, which is why we paid the fee and wanted to get it out, but as soon as we got out there and paid, the car would not start. Then, the owner claimed to have never said it was drivable even though we were told it was. He also told us the window was broken, which was a lie, in which he just assumed it was because there was a tarp on it that they placed on it. Again, just a lack of communication between the workers that stressed us out for no reason. They’re mechanics and offered us no help whatsoever, (like cmon, they watched us struggle to turn it on and said nothing. we had to find out ourselves that it wouldn’t start because it went into crash mode and had to be reset) as when we got it towed through triple a and brought it home, we immediately were able to turn it on through taking out the battery and putting it back in. Even the triple A guy gave us a ton of advice in turning it on and what to do with it. They just didn’t wanna bother whatsoever. At the end of the day, they don’t have to help us, but their customer service is awful and good luck to anyone who gets their car towed here. Get it ASAP!
Extremely poor customer service! Little guy behind the counter was short in height and answers. And when asked about a military discount, his response was, "I already gave you the price." Instead of answering the question, he just rude. I won't go back nor will I ever refer anyone to go there.
