Imagine a post-apocalyptic treasure hunt where you’re both Indiana Jones and that raccoon digging through your trash at 3 a.m. The sheer plunderability of this place is awe-inspiring. It’s like they’ve somehow captured the essence of every questionable decision ever made with metal and arranged it in a way that almost makes sense if you squint really hard. I half expected a wizard to pop out of a hollowed-out refrigerator and grant me three wishes. Spoiler: the wizard is actually the owner, and his wish is for you to mind your own damn business. Speaking of the owner, he’s got the demeanor of a man who’s seen too many lawnmower-related tragedies to be friendly. I can only assume that running a metal recycling paradise comes with some heavy existential burdens. Respect. If you’re looking for something specific, don’t bother. You’ll end up leaving with a pile of unrelated metal bits that make you question your life choices, but it’s worth it for the journey. Also, I found a lawn gnome welded to a bicycle frame, and if that doesn’t symbolize the essence of this place, nothing does. In summary, Taurus Metal Recycling is chaotic, confusing, and slightly haunted. Bring gloves, lower your expectations, and prepare for an oddly spiritual experience. It's definitely an odyssey of rust and regret. Would recommend.

Better be careful. Even if you buy the warranty. The warranty info on the paperwork you get doesnt even have the fine print which is that they only cover the labor costs for a professional shop based off the book estimate of what they say it is. Not what the shop actually charges you. So, I paid 300.00 for a warranty. And they paid out 250 for a transmission install that cost 1000 in labor because there estimate book said it would only take 5hrs in labor to swap out a transmission... this was after the first one did not function correctly within the first 60 miles of the 12,000 mile warranty that had been purchased. The replacement they sent was also unknown internal condition and the warranty does not transfer over... so, in that case it is a scam. The team even had the audacity to tell me that my EVAP code for the downstream o2 sensor may be ausing the issue with the transmission slipping.... Definitely shady business and I wouldnt recommend dealing with them. For the time and money I could have gotten a certified remanufactured trans. (They also dont tell you that you have to pay for the shop to do all the work and they reimburse you based off of what they feel is the correct amount) buyers beware...
