Just an FYI ~ Mike Moore retired in November of 2021 and the business is under new management/ownership and no longer goes by Mike Moore's Auto Salvage. They are now Moores Automotive Sales and they no longer sell used auto parts of any kind. They are upgrading the yard and will be buying cars only for scrap. If your looking to get rid of any unwanted vehicles please give them a call to get a quote as they are very competitive with pricing for this area.

Small little mom and pop store on 17-92 going toward deland. I've been in there several times to buy parts everything from my boat to my vet to my motor home and IA voice remand I have always received great service.. I believe the lady that owns the establishment Name is June. If you're heading toward the land from Orange City it will be on your right hand side just be sure to use caution when pulling into the driveway because the parking spot is very small and it goes down a rather steep hill/driveway. If there is something old that you are looking for that other places may not have in stock you may just have it if not she can order it her prices are fair and I enjoy supporting a mom and pop type of business rather than the big Box stores.. I visited this yard over the weekend. I was able to grab what I needed and missed out on some other items which was my fault. Yards organized and easy to navigate. Cell signal is great and you're able to surf to find the locations of your victims...Good prices, friendly staff and ice cold water, that's free !!!My replacement rear door. The tire cover wasn't part of the deal lol

Jerry is dishonest and unethical. I am disappointed to have to write this review with all the nice things said about this guy. But I wont be treated like he treated me and not speak up. I will never do business with him again and caution others on his tactics. My story.I need a new top for my 05 LJ. went to see him and spent 30+ minutes helping him sort through a 5 ft high pile of tops, windows etc looking for the side windows for the top. Found it all except the rear. He said $400 for it all. I was happy with that price but needed to insure I could get a matching rear. Asked if I could let him know by the next morning. Found one at Best Top and called him to tell him I would take, only to be informed it was now $600. After arguing with him he said he would take $500. I accepted the $500 only to get a text in an hour or so that said, " I have another person who wants the top as it is so I'm gonna sell to them getting a little more money but thanks anyway".That is dishonest and unethical.... I was fine with the top "as is" was just insuring I could get a matching rear and he jerked my chain at every step switching the price and then the BS line about another wanting the top and this after I spent 30 minutes helping him move and sort through his giant pile of tops and windows.Buyer beware....

Ordered a part for 160$ over the phone to get it delivered to the shop for me to pick up. After multiple weeks of issues with the product delivery they ultimately said they would be able to refund my money since they were unable to provide me with the service I paid for. It’s been almost two months since the purchase date and over a month since David in parts said he would posted the refund. I have yet to receive my money back and I am unable to get ahold of anyone in any department when I call. I’ve left voicemails with the company line and with David number as well. I have also texted him to no avail. I am becoming very disgruntled with how those situation is being handled. I’ve never had such a difficult time trying to get a refund before in my life! This is incredibly unprofessional for any business and disrespectful to PAYING customers. I have been very patient but enough is enough. I don’t do reviews and this is my first but I think people need to know how business is handled here. My next step will be legal action.

Absolutely horrible service. The people who work there are nice but the owner is absolutely awful. Came out yelling at us and his employee while we had our kids with us because he didn't want our "dirty" cans which literally only had leaves on them from sitting under the tree in the bin. I feel bad for his employees because it's obvious from other reviews, and by the way his employee dealt with it, that this is a normal thing.

Ok I've been going to this yard for years now and they're the best at getting you in, emptied and out and paid 👍 no nonsense and the folks are very friendly and generally helpful should you need help of some kind. I haul my junk from Orlando sometimes to this place. Good prices and open seven days a week ! They close at five so get there before then. Beats going to a big corporate yard anyday 😁👍

They were well priced for our window and the install on our Ford Explorer. Got the window installed in less than 20 minutes. Very quick and out door fast. Only complaint is gentleman at counter is not really good with customer service friendliness. Needs work.

This is the worst salvage yard i have ever used i went there to buy an engine the first one i got from him was claimed to be good but after i got it home the heads and cylinders were all worn n no good i returned it and after much arguing with the guy he agreed to give me another engine once again though i brought the second engine home and planned to do a re ring kit on it as the motor seemed like it needed some freshening up upon pulling the block apart we found that the cylinders had water sitting in the and had rusted and pitted the cylinder walls so bad that a machine shop could not get them out the owner refused to take responsibility for the garbage motor and i was out 526 buck i will never use them again very unprofessional con artists that have no clue as to what good or bad mean when it comes to parts. I left this so maybe others will not have the same problem as myself.
