Being a 19 year old girl buying a car on my own was something I was nervous about because I'm the prime target to get scammed by a dealership but Select Auto is the place where I not only felt comfortable but heard when it came to any questions or concerns I had. I have needed a new car for some time but kept putting it off because I didn't know where to start. Dan, the owner, is such a genuine, nice, and helpful person and he taught me a lot while buying my first car on my own. I was able to test drive my dream car that I ended up buying and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking to buy a car go to Select Auto! Dan and Cameron were so helpful and went out of their way to bring my car to Lexington for me to save me and my grandparents the drive to Frankfort. Dan was so kind and helped me through the process since I had no idea where to start and it took no time at all to get my car. It was brought to me clean and with a full tank of gas and personally it's the little things that matter. At Select Auto I didn't feel like I was an easy target at all, I felt like a person that they wanted to give the best experience possible and they succeeded. I couldn't be happier and I know I made the best decision going to them. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else but here. Great store, super helpful! It's hard to find a store that has parts for 70s vehicles with quick turnaround during COVID, but they've typically got it here- or they can have it in a day or less. The folk here are knowledgeable too, so don't hesitate to ask for help.

The 2 guys that waited on me the night when i really had a problem, was awesome. They fix my issue within 30 minutes and i made it home( 2 hours away). They was awesome!!!😃😀😁😃thank God for ppl like them. They are in Frankfort, Ky.

The man who owns the place was watching the internet auction did not even acknowledge that I was there for over 45 minutes not one word he is quite rude but he has a huge selection of parts and vehicles so if you can get past the rudeness it is an awesome place to go

Tommy was supposed to be repairing my vehicle from a auto collision, he kept my car for roughly around 6 months and he was only supposed to repair the fender, the front bumper and the hood. He had my car for 6 months, then when I got it back there was things wrong with my vehicle that wasn't wrong with it when I took it to him. My horn didn't work. My radio didn't work. My heat and air didn't work. Then my brakes went bad the day after I got it back and the brake caliber was messed up as well. He kept putting it off and putting it off for at least 6 months then my car lot had to get their lawyers involved and he had my vehicle up there within the next few days. If you have crack to give him for fixing your car he will get it done quick. That's why all the dope boys take their vehicles to him. Everybody else's vehicles are put on the back burner. And he ducks stuff up on the vehicles. He takes parts off your car and trades it for old parts. He took fuses out of my car and trades my battery for an old one. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend Tommy to ANYBODY, EVERR!

I was in desperate need of a bolt to fix my vehicle and called this store to ask if they may have it and the woman who was working actually offered to stay over past closing time so I could get up there for the part!!!! I think that kind of help and care is unheard of today, especially when we are strangers. Highly recommend calling or visiting this store
