    I’ve dealt with contractors and movers for over 25 years and McLay have exceeded all expectations. Matt is a pleasure to deal with, he is responsive, prompt and excels in customer service.     UPDATE: It's now 10 months and 10,000 miles on the used transmission from Wright's and no signs of any problems. Best $850 I've ever spent on a car.My transmission died and I went online to find a low-mileage used replacement. There were no direct replacements in my state of CT that would work w/o modifications. Other parts yards in the northeast wanted between $800-1,200 (+core and shipping) for transmissions with over 100k miles! Wright's Used Auto Parts in Elkton, MD, had a 28k mile unit listed, so I sent them an email. They responded promptly and I bought their trans for $850 shipped and no core charge.They had it pulled and shipped (through R&L freight) by the end of the next business day. I was shocked when it arrived here about 20 hours later. Crystal was great with communicating over the phone and by email. She kept me informed every step of the way and even contacted me to follow up a few days after I received the trans. Sure enough, the trans looked pristine inside. Even the seals looked almost new (I replaced them all anyway). I've got about 2,000 miles on the trans now and the car drives better than it has in years. I've never dealt with a used parts company with such friendly and helpful staff.

    Service depends on who you get. Some employees are very professional and kind, others are rude and uninterested. The hours listed on the website are not accurate, the place closes as early as 3:30 some days. But for the most part the service is worth it, the prices are fair.

    Sad to report that the reviews are right. Tried contact through Ebay to locate the yard for a trip, not taking messages. Data-mined for the website and got a phone number. Called, and reached parts. Gave the Stock number, did not want it. Very rude/assertive tone telling me to give year, option information. Eventually realized the stock number was the best way to lookup a part that was already deemed compatible. Asked for details. Priced way outside competitive. I will take my business elsewhere, to yards that will treat people with some baseline respect...

    Purchased a part. Brought part back. After I drove almost 2 hours they told me that they could give me a "store credit" (minus the 25% restock fee). I think they should have told me on the phone that they would only issue a "store credit" before I drove 2 hours. Their "Refund Policy" on the back of the receipt does not say anything about "store credit!" They are a shady operation. Plus, they actually charged me 28% on the restock fee. Either they ripped me off or they can't count. It is hard to tell.
