I got a very good price for a 1998 Chrysler Cirrus that needed some work. Jim was straightforward and polite. He got everything done pretty fast. I would highly recommend him. Services: Vehicle purchasing, Vehicle recycling
Super easy and friendly people. Wish I would have called sooner! Had a car sitting in the driveway for 2 years dragging me down. It became an eyesore. I called 4:30pm Thursday, they gave me a quote over the phone, and it was gone Friday during the scheduled appointment window. Was paid in cash the same amount quoted. Lisa, Sue, and Brian made the process simple and painless. If you have a car you want gone give them a call. You will feel a lot better and have extra funds to boot.

Probably the best all-around experience with getting a vehicle that was beyond repair to it's final destination. Great customer service from both of the people I spoke to on the phone, as well as the driver who picked up my old truck. Fair price for the vehicle (cash in hand). Excellent communication and very punctual. If you have a vehicle that needs to go, call GLR.

They got a part for my 2014 cadillac XTS that I have been looking for. They sent it out right away and the part is clean and in great condition. They will get getting more of my business.

Definitely my go-to place for used auto parts. Rick and the crew are always a huge help. Friendly, affordable and I would give five stars again and again and again. I called several other places for a alternator for my Chrysler Pacifica and could not find one anywhere except Sand Lake Auto Salvage. Thanks Rick!
Pulled a motor with just 1 helper. They have an A-frame and cart that made it much easier than any home job I have ever did. Also found a few gems by just looking around. Make sure to bring extra tools but leave them in the car so you don't have to lug them around while you look. They have a sink to wash up afterwards and a small building with power for testing and disassembling items. Overall a great place.
This place is horrible, I showed up on a Saturday morning right when they were supposed to open at 9 am, to pick up parts I ordered on Monday, no one showed up to open the gate until 9:45! What a waste of my time. This place is a mess, there is seriously junk everywhere, and the whole lot is a muddy, oily puddle. You can barely fit a car through to load your parts, which I had to do as well. I've been to a lot of salvage yards, and this is absolutely the worst, with no organization, and down right filth everywhere. The parts I got were in horrible condition as well, the complete rocker on my side cut was completely dented front to back, both doors I got were previously painted and whoever did it got paint all over the trims, bolts, and seals, not to mention the orange peel and dirt. They destroyed all the inside trim pieces I requested, while they were dismantling the car. My mistake was I already paid for all these parts since I was making a 2 hour trip each way to get them, and wanted them ready to go for me. I don't like wasting time. I will absolutely never get parts from here again and would avoid this "junkyard" at all costs.

I work as a plumber and bring my wster heaters there a few days a week and I have to say I go there because the girl behind the glass who gives us our tickets and takes our weight is the best part of my week. She doesn’t even know . Plus they pay good and don’t play around like shupan or Omni or Kmr. Even if they did I would go there just to see that sweet and gorgeous woman.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Called for a tow at 8pm was told he’d be arriving in 45 minutes , he was then called to a 911 call was told he’d be here in an additional hour which was fine called at 11:28 pm. Told he would be here within the hour. He called back at 12:17am to tell me he was having something repaired on the truck and wasn’t able to get here until 2am. I placed the keys in the car and went to bed for work I woke up at 630 am and my vehicle is still parked no communication nothing so I call and he says “ I didn’t know that car had a flat tire”. Dissatisfied is and under statement.

He answered the phone promptly; He met promptly at requested time and date; great job!
good to drive not to eat
Not impressed with what they had on hand. Seemed more like a run down ReStore type place. Only architectural salvage I saw was stained glass windows, lots. Disappointing.
