Edit: Jellison's, Rite Away Auto, and French Lake Auto Parts are some more junkyards to patronize instead of St. Francis. St. Francis responded with a bunch of absolute bull. Really shows their lack of integrity when they have to lie in response to negative reviews. Guess the owner forgot about his long "supply and demand" rant where he openly admitted to raising the price on me. It would have been more professional for them to just respond with "F-U" than with these obvious, blatant lies. To St. Francis: Hire a PR team. You obviously are incapable of interacting with customers. Original review: Tl;dr: They don't honor quotes. They'll give you a number, then jack up the price when you actually try to buy the part, betting that you'll be too deep into the process to call them out and turn back. If you do call them out, the owner literally yells at you. Shop at U-Pull-R-Parts or Facebook Marketplace instead if you have any self-worth. Very dishonest behavior. Got a quote from them, and then they went back on it and changed the price multiple times. The price increased by almost 2x the original quote. They had a lot of excuses as to why the original quote wasn't valid. They told me the quote expired because it was placed a week ago, then, when I brought up a different quote I had gotten earlier that day for the same price as the initial quote, they told me that one didn't count because they didn't give me a quote number. Not because I lost the number, but because they didn't give it to me in the first place. However, they didn't give me a quote number with the new quote, either, but apparently that one holds valid. When I asked them "So you basically just don't honor quotes?", the owner gave me a long rant about supply and demand, openly admitting that he looked up which vehicle the part came from and realized he was the only one within 100 miles with the part, so he jacked up the price. Got it on Facebook Marketplace instead, like any sensible person would. Only paid $40 vs the $236 St. Francis Auto Parts wanted. Was perfectly willing to pay the $120 originally quoted, but alas. Here's your economics lesson; if you jack up your prices and yell at your customers, you're losing your customers. Only shop here if you don't value your time or your money. U-Pull-R-Parts in Rosemount or East Bethel are far more ethical junkyards with a far better selection, and when all else fails, trolling Facebook Marketplace for a week or so will usually get you what you want. No need to give your money to dishonest salespeople such as these.
