One of the most organized scrap yard I've been too. They're quick and efficient and there's no issue paying. The staff are VERY good at what they do and they're pretty quick at sorting and getting to the next customer in line. Highly recommend empire recycling for all your steel, copper, brass, aluminum etc.
I called and spoke to a nice lady who quoted me a price for my car. We made an appointment and Eli showed up right on time. He was very professional and helpful. He paid me exactly what was quoted for my car in cash, on the spot. Eli also offered to make a way for me to get a couple of parts from the car which would fit my new car. I didn't have time or a place to store the parts so I didn't take him up on the offer but it was really cool too have the option. Great service, quick and easy. You'll be paid and your car will be on the flatbed in 2 minutes.Great job folks, thanks. 5 stars.
Cameron and his colleague provided excellent communication and quick service at a very reasonable price. Very polite and personable as well. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I know who requires the removal of heavy or awkward items. Absolute satisfaction. Service: Furniture removal

I had a flat tire and was able to make it to the Stewart’s across the street. I tried to repair it with my fix a flat kit in the back of my hatch but that didn’t fix the leak. I noticed the Dunston Bros shop across the street and decided to see if there was anything they could do. The gentleman there was very courteous and I explained my situation to him. He didn’t think he was able to help but he walked across the road to take a look anyway. Turn out I needed a new tire and was able to get one through my dealership. However I didn’t want to leave my car at Stewart’s in case it would take awhile to get the new tire so after asking the gentleman if I could leave my car there he said yes without hesitation and even moved a car out of the way so I could have a spot to park mine. I’m so grateful for this man and company for being so kind and helpful in a stressful situation! Thank you so much!

I had a 2021 BMW 5 series with some minor issues. I was getting offered 1/3 of the vehicles worth in trade in from dealerships. My brother used a similar cash for vehicle company in the US so I thought I would try. After some research I decided to use Cash for Cars. From the start to finish they were excellent. I sent pictures and confirmed the condition of the car. After a little back and forth negotiation, they came up close to the price I expected.. 2/3 of the cars value which was fair and it needed repairs. The towing company showed up when scheduled, paid the exact amount and car was gone. Very simple and easy. Customer support was great. If I ever sell a car again, I will use this company.Service: Vehicle purchasing

Thank you for taking back my replacement rim after hours today, I greatly appreciate it after a 45 minute drive. Things like this are why I get my used parts through LKQ, have never let me down.

Customer sales reps are easy to talk to and reply in timely manner , had an easy time paying invoices for the car . Wish they still let people go in and check the lot out but overall great service.

To start this review off coming from a person that used to work at Ben Weitsman at Albany you may say I’m a little bias, however, a lot of people that work here & even customers can prove and agree to my reasons as to why I personally don’t recommend this scrap yard for various reasons. First reason, it is a very discriminatory place where the Mexican/hispanic & black workers are looked down upon and paid extremely low compare to your typical white male worker. In addition to that they aren’t allowed to move up in position keeping them at a low level, therefore demonstrating and keeping them in a discriminatory and slave environment. Second of all, the management is TERRIBLE. They CAN’T KEEP THEIR WORKERS OR EVEN A GENERAL MANAGER. From what I saw there is a struggle of power between higher position personnel. THIS PLACE NEEDS A CHECK AND BALANCES SYSTEM. Third of all, these higher positions personnel posses an extremely rude attitude and can be very demanding when they’re low staff! Moreover, this place is unsanitary and they don’t follow COVID protocols. There are nails everywhere that can pop your tires, save your self the drive. Not only that the scrap yard in itself is dirty and unsafe. In addition, COVID protocols are not even followed. CUSTOMERS & THE STAFF ARE ALLOWED TO DO WHAT THEY WANT AND THEY DON’T WEAR MASKS EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULD BE ENFORCED. Customers would come in coughing and dirty WITHOUT A MASK. In my opinion, THIS IS A SELFISH MOVE and DEFINITELY NOT CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS HEALTH! Last but not least, they scam people and you won’t get ur money’s worth. I rather recommend going across the river. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND DEEPLY INVESTIGATED! THUMBS DOWN!
