A few months back my car wouldn’t start and I happened to be outside of NAPA. Unfortunately, it was about 15 min before they closed. I explained to them that I needed a jump and I wasn’t sure if it was my battery or my alternator. They told me they did not have the time to help because I had turned my car off and they would need to charge the battery. I waited for a friend to come and jump my car while ALL of the employees walked to their cars to leave without even offering to help jump my car. I went to a competitor and they had my issue figured out in about 10 minutes. The fact that they let me drive off without even warning me how dangerous it could be if my car stalled is appalling. And that no one asked me if I needed help speaks volumes about the employees.

These guys are all very helpful when I come in. Not your typical advanced auto workers, they know their stuff and if they don't they'll do anything they can to make it happen. Best auto store I've been to ever. Always go in and come out satisfied and I am there frequently. Great staff best within the surrounding hourly area. Could not be happier with them.

There is absolutely no other place to take any electric motor-related (or generator) problem than here. The enormous amount of knowledge and experience possessed by the staff, coupled with the impressively equipped facility and vast stock of parts makes it THE ONLY place to go. That is, only if you want your machine (or motor) fixed correctly, along with an honest assessment of your equipment.In an age of big-box store idiocacy and complete lack of knowledge, Thering's is a very welcome refuge of actual understanding, skill, and pragmatism. Unfortunately, it's one of the few remaining.They also sell farm supplies, which I know less than zero about so I can't comment on that aspect of the business, but I'd expect - based on my experiences in the motor shop - that you can't go wrong here.
