Kris and his partner were fantastic to work with. They gave me an hour and a half heads up before they were going to arrive. Their ETA was right on time they are extremely helpful and went above and beyond and to be sure I had what I needed before they took the furniture away. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat. Coming here is like a little vacation to Europe. You show your ID to enter, the staff is bilingual, none of the roads have street signs, you have to stop and ask for directions a few times inside, there all sorts of vehicles you've never seen before. Make sure your tires are in good shape- there's literally sharp scraps of metal all over the 'roads' (as one should expect.) Next time I hope they stamp my passport.

I just wanted to thank you for promptly responding to my review. That speaks volumes. Although, I do not have a ticket number, because they refused me service. This was at 4:42pm, and as a result, I had to drive all the way back home with that weight my trailer. Of course, that cannot be undone, but I will attempt to once again bring a load there today and see how things go. Thanks again for your attention to this matter... Respectfully, Annisa Williams

My boss does business with this company regularly as they are in the closest vicinity to our shop. We dismantle cars from time to time and routinely have core engine blocks to recycle. We brought them a camaro to crush and I had mistakenly left a very expensive tool inside. When I arrived, I was greeted by a older white man with gray hair. I explained my case and he then proceeded to ask me if a Milwuakee was a beer. I explained further, and parked exactly where he told me to. I was told that I could look for it, so I did. The younger gentlemen in the yard hailed me back off the scrap pile and offered to retrieve the car for me so I could look through it. Very kind of them. As I'm walking to the vehicle to search, fella from the weigh station that greeted me gives me a dog whistle and starts rambling on about how my presence is a liability. That much is obvious, but I was given the green light to look. It's not my fault simple English wasn't comprehended. He then, due to his on inability to grasp the conversation or the simple things I was saying, tried to tell me that my tool was gone and that they didn't have it in an attempt to shoo me off the property. He then asked me if anyone was helping me, after I had explained to him somebody was kind enough to set the car in a safe area for me to search, and that I WILL be searching it. Lo, and behold, it was sitting in the trunk. Thank you to the kind and helpful younger fellas that actually helped and a fine middle finger to the cranky old dude who just wanted me gone.

Great group of guys, decent selection of volvos, and they are grouped together up front instead of buried in the back like most other yards.

I’m disgusted with the way things are run here. Not only are they liars, but also scammers. Who sells a transmission and claims it’s good with a warranty, but then will not honor their warranty after everything asked to verify was completed. 32 thousand miles on a transmission they claim, but it was absolutely disgusting and was proven to have many more miles on it than that. We’ve jumped through so many hoops for them to warranty it and proved everything they asked for and more. Then they claimed they have a labor warranty that was never offered to us upon purchase? Lies, lies, lies. These people are disgusting and completely unprofessional. Please save yourself the time and money and do not deal with these people.

Called on Monday about a bumper cover and grill. The lady told me they could have it Tuesday morning. That's great because I have a friend's truck that day. Tuesday morning comes and she calls me saying the parts didn't come in so it will be Wednesday. I don't have a truck Wednesday so I take the back seats out of my car to fit the parts in. Wednesday morning I call and a different woman tells me the parts came in. I said "Great I will go pick them up at lunch time". I show up at 11:45 and there is a sign on the door that says they are closed from 11:30 to 12:30. I talked to 2 people no one said they were closed at lunch and nothing on the website. I wait around until 12:30. The guy sitting at the desk says "the bumper cover didn't come in and it looks like she ordered 2 of them". I said I only need 1. I don't know why she did that. He said "it's okay, I'm only gonna charge you for one" Well that's great cause that's all buying! Still don't have the part.

  • If it was possible to give 5000 stars for a review I would. I was not comfortable coming into TriCity because of the pandemic. Patty came to my vehicle. She ensure that I had a comfortable and positive experience. Thank you Patty for your service with a smile (behind the mask).

I agree with Jeff D to a point. You certainly want to know what you're doing when you go in there because the employee speaking to me may not. In fact, I was told there was no automatic 30-day warranty any longer, which was news to me so, I paid it. But I didn't previous visits even though they charged me automatically I made them take it off before I ran my credit card. Last time the guy wouldn't take it off that's when he told me, a lie. Now , I don't know if he knew that it was a lie, he may have been misinformed or just incorrect. And I don't like the fact that they charge an environmental fee on something that has no environmental damage or any special needs to dispose of. So why pass that cost on to the consumer why because they're lining their pockets. And as far as pricing, to my knowledge, the places that I go this is the most expensive place in the area. Of course it's the only pull a part that I know of in Greensboro. Sometimes I make the trip to Winston-Salem Patterson avenue. Much cheaper but you only get a store credit and not cash like this place. Which is fine if they have another part that you can go get but sometimes they don't, then where are you? So, half a dozen and one and six of the other. Also, it used to be a lot less s*** laying around on the ground. Count your blessings on that. Because when they pick the stuff up all they do is throw it in your way. When you get there you have to move the s*** out of your way to get the part you want. Whereas they pile parts and stuff on the car in the interior on the front of the car whatever the case may be. I don't know why they don't pick it up and just dispose of it. Please don't take my advice, because all that will do is increase the cost of the parts for us. LOL... I haven't found any research to say that they're doing anything wrong with the environmental fee but I still don't like it. From what I can tell they pay environmental fees for stuff like oil, antifreeze disposal and stuff like that. So why are they charging me an environmental fee on a starter that they get paid to dispose of my core by the way of scrap metal.

Excellent Service from A2Z Towing While assisting a customer with a tire change, I discovered their vehicle had a bent drive axle, making it unsafe to drive. I called A2Z Towing, and they immediately provided excellent service, towing the vehicle from Lexington to an autobody shop in Greensboro, NC. They offered excellent services. Highly recommend A2Z Towing for anyone in need of quick and dependable service!

I gathered a few bids from national companies and also wanted a local company in the mix too. I texted the owner on a Sunday and they setup an appointment for 9:30 am the next day. The two guys showed up about 30 minutes early (always a bonus in my book), and were straight with pricing and required no negotiation. I knew I wanted to support local no matter what and their price was right in my ballpark ($425 for the full truck) which was $200 less than the big name guys. I had negotiated the big name guys down to $400 but still didn’t want to pull the trigger until Junkyard Dogs showed up, because I knew if it was still in that range, I’d happily pay more for a local company. The two men got right to work, packing my construction debris very efficiently into the truck, maximizing every square inch. It took them about an hour to clear my carport where I had accumulated all of the debris from my remodel.I called the owner to pay via phone and express my gratitude and he was very thankful and kind. I highly recommend these guys and will gladly use them in the future.

This place is great and very reasonable on somethings. Other items that are more big like a hood to a car is to high of a price. All you do is take your own tools and search through thousands of cars for what you need and check out. Also the hours of this business change when the time is turned back an hour and when the time is turned forward an hour. The close an hour earlier in the fall.
