Although my driveway was difficult to get into in the Clifton area they were very professional and skillful in retrieving my vehicle from down deep into my driveway. I was impressed by the skills and pleased at the professionalism. That was quick it was easy it was the right choice. I don't know what it was go ahead and make the call. Services: Vehicle wrecking, Vehicle recycling
I usually come here for my used tires and I always get friendly service. But most recently I visited this location, I was greeted right away, the young lady in the front office was very polite and professional. Then the two service men were equally courteous and professional, I mean, what more can you ask for? Not to mention the service was fast less than ten minutes to replace my tire and make the payment.I am completely satisfied and I will continue to patronize unless shown otherwise. I would definitely recommend this business to those who are skeptics like myself when it comes to service.

Mike is my dude! It's been about 30 yrs since I first visited his old location and he's been the first one I call for a used part since. I even worked for him in the early 90's temporary/part time helping strip parts before spring crushing season. With that said, very few customers know him like I do and believe me, he's a great guy and will treat you right.

Edit: Then what you say about any condition isn't true. Suggesting you may want to change that about your ads. The people at Cartoon's salvage took the time to listen to what I was saying and offer help. I need to dispose of a vehicle and I would hope the company with pictures of wrecked cars would take something thats "any condition" as advertised"any condition" but when I offer to tow my beater to them instead asking them to come out and get it they refused.
Dave was very helpful. I ordered out of state and was a little worried about paying for a used part I wasn't able to see. When I asked him if the part was good he was honest with me, shows he isn't just looking for the sale. Came earlier than espected and was very pleased. Glad to finally get my car on the road!

I don’t know how this place is still in business with this lack of customer service. I purchased a transmission for GMC Acadia 2010 on March 9th 2022 and after spending lots of money getting the transmission installed, the transmission does not have reverse. The customer service rep. told me to tow it to Cincinnati Transmission to have this checked. I asked what is the process flow for escalating an issue like that and the person started yelling at me and and repeating himself to take it to the shop when I just want to understand the process and timing of the events. I try to keep calm and asked if they sell transmission taken out of the vehicle or if they also rebuild transmissions ( because they required to have a core returned) just so I know if my transmission was rebuild and this guy lost it yelling and cussing at me before he hang up the phone. My question is how a used parts store like this is still in business? Did I get a transmission for free or did I pay my hard earn money to purchase it? After loosing lots of money like this, the least I deserve is some information so I can plan around it.I can see some negative comments similar to this with customers dealing with the same person and I do not understand how this person still works there or if he is a co- owner, how that place is still open. We need to escalade more events like this so customers does not have to deal with situations like this

I needled a door for my 99 durango Jones was the only place in the area that had one. I live in north dakota i had a bungy cord and the seat belt rigged up to keep the door closed. They gave me a great price on it to. Thank you
Towed my vehicle like no charge and paid a fair price for it everyone who works for the company is courteous and helpful I will be recommending them in the future.
I have been to this center numerous times, idk why I go back besides convenience.. the operator was very unprofessional and seemed to be more interested in his phone than he was doing his job, lots of missing scrap weight, things weighed under what I weighed at home, idk how 34 pounds of copper tubing turned into 12 pounds..I have had scrap weighed at home only to find out the scale at the recycling center had an "issue" which cost me 8 pounds of brass, 16 pounds of clean stainless 17 pounds of copper tubing and approximately 23 pounds of wiring. I guess they make their own weight depending on the operator. Somehow my brass was weighed wrong and my stainless wasn't added at all. Now those few bucks add up! I will NOT be returning.

I pulled 2 used ford ranger power mirrors. The paint was chipped but I wasn’t worried about that as it is a used parts place. They charged me $60 for the mirrors ($30 each) and I did not get the warranty because I knew they would fit. After purchasing the mirrors I walked outside and thought that $60 was a lot of money for 2 used mirrors. So I looked up what new ones would cost. Brand new power mirrors that are they exact same as the ones I pulled are only $18 brand new. I walked right back inside and said that I wanted to return the mirrors. The gentleman that rang we out for the mirrors said I could not return them because I did not pay the extra $10 for the warranty. I had not even owned the mirrors for 2 minutes. I am not happy that they would not take them back and I am not happy that they are charging more money for used parts that you have to pull off the vehicle yourself than brand new parts that get shipped to your house. I had been to this place before and was happy with them. But after today I am very unhappy with them and will never be going back to this place. I recommend either buying the parts new or going to a different junk yard for parts.
The guy that works here was really super nice he stayed after hours so that I can come down there same daywday in the evening..heghe the part for me and I didn't know that it was just a snap in part that held my switches to try to fix my Saab 9-3 convertible top so he went ahead and tried the part for me and then we realized it didn't work so he saved me $75 on a part that it turns out I didn't need. Im getting my parts from him from now on it was it was an awesome experience down there and I was having a really bad day. Thank you so much
