Look - it's a junkyard. I don't understand what half these people expect when dealing with a scrapyard, but clearly it isn't realistic. If you want something done right, you do it yourself. Thankfully, SAS is one of the few yards left that lets you pull your own parts, which not only saves on costs but cuts out the middle man and alleviates concerns of having the part damaged during removal or improperly removed. SAS also has a fantastic selection of late 70s to early 2000s vehicles, with a little bit of newer stuff. Organizationally, the yard is semi-chaotic but still more than navigable and stuff tends to be mostly grouped together by manufacturer. The management is what can be expected from a scrapyard - nice, honest people who will gladly help you whenever you need, but are absolutely a little rough around the edges and suffer from disorganization. If you need to know whether they have a part, I advise just going there and looking yourself. The inventory system they use is far from accurate, but chances are you'll probably find what you need by looking yourself. If you want to overpay and let someone else hand-deliver you a used part that ends up being completely incorrect, go to Staunton Wrecking or the place in new market. The prices at SAS are well within reason and if you take the time to pull the parts yourself, the cost can be easily negotiated. I've gone here dozens of times over the years and will continue to do so. One worker even took the time to bring me a cold water as I was busy pulling an intercooler from a Passat on a hot day. To the other reviewers, stop expecting a scrapyard to be the epitome of organizational excellence. Go to the yard yourself, talk to the employees, pull your own part.
