Ok I went yesterday at about 4 o'clock January 2026. I'm in a smaller vehicle and the cars were packed so I kinda get out of line because I have batteries I can just carry to the scale. Employee starts yelling at me while I'm holding hundred pound batteries about where I pulled up and when they finally weighed my 4 deep cycle batteries they tell me 250 pounds. I was pretty frustrated and didn't pay attention until I left as far as weight and price. Be extremely careful going to this place is all I'm saying.

3rd in line for scrap metal. Took maybe 7 minutes. Weighed, 5 minutes or less to dump, 3 minutes to get paid. Maybe 20 minutes total. Seemed like a pretty streamlined business to me. Couldn't tell you about their pricing since I've never been anywhere else.

One thing for sure, there are the only scrap yard open on Saturday around Little Rock and that's a plus. They don't pay quite as much as Tenenbaum, but they are open later. The staff is friendly, and they have several different scales to keep people moving. One thing, if you're going to show up on Saturday and make sure you get there early. I've got pictures of the line waiting to get in. I had a good experience at ABC Salvage.
