The customer service there is next to none. They are honest and everything there they do is safe. They also don't rip you off like the junk yard in Elmsford NY off Rt. A, they rip you off like a mofo. Sawzall the copper ends off of a dirty fin and the piece you cut off is supposed to be 60 to 80 cents a pound, Elmsford Rt 9A junk yard gives you 4 cents a pound. I believe it's because they don't care and they figure people actually most people don't know what the value of each part of what you're tearing off of a compressor or a condenser motor. So they kind of just put the pieces in any category to lower the prices of what they actually are supposed to give you. Action metal doesn't do that it's worth taking the long trip from wherever you are to go there you'll get your money's worth. A++++++++++++++++++++ to Action Metal Co Inc.

Just went on my first ever scrapping trip to cash in some tin and copper. I was nervous because Ive heard stories of people getting ripped off. I had my f150 tow a trailer down. The place is a bit tight, if you plan to tow a trailer make sure you know how to back the thing up well. In order to dump your scrap metal you have to back up down a narrow path, stop on the scale, then back in the rest of the way. Digital scale readout so I took pictures of my loaded and unloaded weight. Also with the copper, there was a digital scale. I have to say I was very comfortable being there. The business is run by two brother, (forgot their names) and they seem to be friendly, and honest people. I know the price of scrap fluctuates but I was happy with what I was paid. Did not feel ripped off at all. Will be going back again.
