I went today to the pull a part side of adams. I signed a waiver and paid $2 to get in. Got a price qote on what I was looking for. 15 min later I was approached by an aggressive employee claiming he was owner. I was thrown out and my tool bag searched. I was told they are NOT a pick a part , despite the sign and taking my $ 2 entry fee. Was told I was let in by mistake. Did not get my money back. Looks to me like the junkyard is a front for something else.

Was impressed with the size and efficiency of this place. Can get congested but pretty smooth. Get a metal permit if you have any quantity. The girls in the booth are a riot!

Fair prices and nice people. Everyone was helpful. We used the Belton location. New driveway entry from highway, much easier to get into than previous visits.

Sold copper and was not able to cash the check they gave me because of insufficient funds in there account. Highly recommend you take your scrap elsewhere. Waisted and entire Saturday morning.

Made an appointment through Peddle for Thursday at 9:00 am to pick up my car. They called me and let me know they were on their way. They were prompt and efficient. They were gone in less than 10 minutes after arrival. Great service and I would use them again.

Went there with some of my scrap all of it sorted. The guys running the scales tried to weigh my 44 pounds of extruded aluminum(43 cents/lb) as light cast aluminum (10 cents/lb. A difference of 33 cents per pound. When I mentioned it the guy told me he was doing me a favor because there were 2 small screws he should have weighed it as dirty sheet aluminum. So for ~6 grams of screws in 44 pounds (18,143.7 grams) they tried to pay 25% of what the material was worth 1. They should have told me before changing the classification of metal 2. 6 grams out of 18,143.7 grams is 0.033%. Making it 99.9% pure. Finding 100% pure metal of any kind is extremely difficult. The scrap met international purity standards for gold, platinum and all other metals yet somehow not good enough for them. 3. How this is not fraud? How many hundreds of thousands of pounds do they rip people off on price. 4. I had my scrap sorted and labeled. They could have mentioned they noticed 2 tiny screws and I would have simply moved the two pieces to my dirty aluminum bin. This isn't the first time they have been dishonest and manipulative when I sell them scrap. It was just too ridiculous to let it slide this time.

They change deductions every time you go, it’s never consistent and really depends on the mood of the person that is working. If you ask about it they will act like they no speak English. Ripoff

I've read all of your reviews. I've been doing business with Adams Recycling for a good while now and I always have a good experience, from the ladies in the scalehouse to the guys in the yard. They always help me to unload my trailer every time I ask ( you SHOULD ask as they are not mind readers). I have never had a check returned for any reason. They do try their best to keep the unloading zone cleaned up. Have never gotten anything in my tire there. Have never experienced an attitude with any of the staff. Five stars for sure!!!

The experience was professional and fast. Had to scrap a '99 vehicle since it was inoperable, and the people there were friendly, and quick about business. From getting the vehicle towed, to getting up there to be paid took no longer than 20 minutes. Five star review for sure!

We brought our recycling here for the first time and were a little overwhelmed driving onto the property. The signage made it clear where to go and the workers were helpful in explaining the process.

Lowest prices on scrap! They started paying with a check, WHICH CAN NOT BE CASHED! I was told at the bank ( Wells Fargo) that the check has to be deposited in order to get it cashed! Recommend going to Norris... I only went to Adams because I didn't have time to go to Norris! Will wait next time...

Friendly , fast and the prices for scrap are alot more than the other places. I've had 2 other places screw me over on copper they acted like because I'm a woman I didn't know what I had but Adams didn't do me like that or make me feel awkward. They were absolutely great 👍

My first experience with these guys was horrible. The guy I dealt with came within 2 inches of running me over and was very rude. I just dealt with them a second time and Serg was 100% nicer and more courteous than the last guy. He also told me the first guy I dealt with was no longer with the company which makes me feel comfortable giving them five stars

Great local business. Diverse staff. When the original owners sold it to the current owners the new guys kept the old staff bc they saw their value. They do business the right way! They sell quality Park at fair prices and stand behind them. Haven't grown up in another Salvage family, I've done personal and wholesale business with this company for decades. They've always done me right.

I have been a customer with Adams since September 2012. Their prices are fair, the staff has been friendly and helpful. But like any business they have their "good days and bad days" and you learn to roll with the issues. If you take the time to ask questions, keep your loads separated, and learn to understand the scrap metal process then Adams will work with you and be helpful.

Bad business! Shouldn't of went here twice. I got metal in my tires cause they don't keep the yard clean. Their prices aren't fair, and my neighbor got ripped off by them recently. Very unethical business. Dealing with Norris Iron & Metal now much better prices and service.
