    I called and asked if they had a fuel pump for my car. I drove there for an hour and a half to arrive and they told me: you know, we can only remove the spare part tomorrow. The next day I picked up the part and took it to my mechanic. However, she didn't come! although Gary looked at my VIN code! I went there again to return the part but they only refunded me $65 instead of $85!!!! How does is called? Why, due to the incompetence of an employee who cannot find the right spare part, did I have to spend 9 hours on the road and lose 20 dollars?????!!!!!!!!!!

    Great prices and great service. After struggling to find the parts I needed in Houston I expanded my search and found Browning Auto Parts, after speaking with Gary he was able to provide great customer service and get me the parts I needed. They confirmed with pictures of the parts I needed, I paid remotely, and was able to pick up next day. The guys even help me load. Definitely recommend Browning if your in Austin or even the surrounding area, definitely worth the trip from Houston.

    Great experience! I called yesterday to check if the part I needed was in stock, Gary took down my information and called me back within half an hour with good news. Gary sent me a picture of the part to help verify that was exactly what I was looking for. The next morning as soon as the office opened I had a text message that my part was in the office ready for me to pick it up. Gary was extremely helpful and professional, I will definitely return for any parts needed in the future.

    Not a good experience. Although the guys were not rude to me, their customer service is poor at best. Called for a part, was told they have it, come pay today and I can pick it up the next day. This was a red flag, but I rationalized it by thinking maybe they have orders folks don't pick up and are being wise with their labor costs. Fine. Spent over 2 hours traveling to their location. Paid for the part. Gave phone number to call when it was ready. Hadn't received a call, so I called them to ask for an update. Was told the parts guy is removing it right now, we will call in 15 minutes and let you know its ready for pickup. Not long after we are informed they dont even have the part. Never did. We can come back and get our money. Had to drive all the way back to their location miles past the airport in the heavy traffic. My time, gas, and sanity were all wasted by this poor business standard. Do better.

    Abraham is really nice & he knows his stuff! Make sure to ask him for when you call. He will go out of his way to make sure you're taken care of.

    I needed a couple of parts for a 2013 Ford Edge; as Ford was "guessing" on what was wrong with my lift gate. Browning was quick to look to see if they had them in inventory and I was able to pick them up and have them installed. Worked great. Saved me several hundreds of dollars than at the dealership. I appreciate their quick response and willingness to assist! Highly recommend them.

    They made me waste almost a whole day! The address on their web page has not been updated and is not their actual address, it’s 30 minutes away. They confirmed to me over the phone that they had the alloy rim in stock, I travelled 1 and 1/2 hours from San Antonio. I arrived at address in disbelief because they had changed addresses but not bothered to change it on their webpage. Then they couldn’t find the donor car, then they told me that actually did not have the rim I needed, horrible experience!

    Worst customer service. Excuse after excuse. We avoid browning autoparts. LKQ and A1 are professional places. We’ve got BAD ENGINES from Browning. Staying away from this place. GO to LKQ, A1, SNYDER… real quality parts and real CUSTOMER SERVICE

    Walked in and was met with rude employees. They told me they had the part and it would take 15-20 minutes to get picked up. All I needed was a wheel rim. They assured me the one I was waiting for would be the right one. After an hour and a half the wheel finally arrived. It was the wrong size. Left and will never return. If you are looking for any part make sure to be overly specific because the staff talk like they know what they are talking about but do not. Overheard an employee say to someone on the phone "that car is actually made in North Korea"

    These guys are good honest folks that will go above and beyond to help you get what you need. They recently underwent a location change so things like the phones, online info, and inventory were a bit out of whack during the transition. All of that is fixed now and they are ready to help you find what you're looking for. While they are working out of a portable temporarily, the facility being built on their lot will be state of the art. It will be designed specifically to streamline the salvage dismantling process to ultimately serve the customer better and faster. So go check out their new location. They are ready to serve the community for years to come.

    I ordered a part thru them and she took my name and put the order aside for me then the next day I drive one hour to get there and when I arrive, She says she canceled the order because she thought I wasn’t coming down there then after 10-20 minutes they say they can’t sell me the rim because it’s damaged I would not recommend this place to anybody unless you want your time wasted.

    Hate to give 1 star, but had an extremely lazy sales associate. Called the day before to make sure they had what I needed (a simple part) and to verify hours. Arrived the following day at 4:55 pm and was told that they don't get parts after 5 pm. Stood there looking confused cause it obviously wasn't 5 pm yet. Was told I could give them money and pick up my part tomorrow. No way, to drive an hour to get here and be turned away once is bad enough. Oh, and Google says closing time is 5:30 pm.

    I needed a flexplate for my older model toyota. A new one was gonna be a special order with at least a two week wait. I called browning and they said they had one available. They were very courteous and professional with all my questions. It took a couple days to have it ready, but it was because of a recent ice storm we had In central texas. I recommend browning auto parts to anyone in need of a special automotive part for their vehicle. Thank you browning

    They had the part I was looking for but they turned me away by their customer service. The guy on the phone was acting like he was doing me a favor by providing info on a part I was interested in. Just because you have a part that I need does not make you a king. Invest time on your customer who is calling you.

    The folks at Browning were so helpful in finding a seat for my Mom's wheelchair van. This is her only transportation and cannot go anywhere without it. It was great to have someone who could help so quickly and also affordable. Highly recommend them!

    Never will I ever go here again. They are beyond rude and no customers skills at all. I called several times about parts I needed not once did anyone say I have to order it. Even called when I was on my way from Round Rock and told them that and told them I hope I make it before 5:30, not once did anyone say if u want the part u have to order it, they wait till I got there at 5:26 and then they wouldn't even pull it for me. I'm a female and pulled the part off my car in less then 2min but they wouldn't because they were fixing to close. When I asked why they didn't tell me this they said I never asked. Wtf. I'm not from Austin and in Dallas as long as u are there before closing u can pull it yourself or pay extra to have someone do it. How was I suppose to know and why didn't they say since u r on your way do u want to go ahead and order the part? To make matters worse when I asked to speak to a manger the white dude looks at the mexican one and says do u want to act like the manger. Then tells me I can take my business some where else when I said yalls customer service sucks also they didn't like how I said I called several times and yall could have told me how yalls rules work as far as getting a part, And when I told them their phone lines where busy three of the times I called to get a hold of them they said i was lieing, but yet when i went to show them my call logs they wouldnt look. ( because they know they were the ones lieing) I'm a manger in the auto field and I will make sure everyone I know will no longer shop there, because it seems like they have no respect for females or their customers. I will how ever shop at Austin used auto parts, because even do they were closed they still answered the phone and told me they have the part, but can't pull it till tomorrow and then told me to order it at 8:30 so it will be ready for me at 9am and the part is cheaper. So I saved money by people being jerks and another place gained a loyal customer.

    I called them one day earlier to pick parts up, they told me the parts are available then i drove 3 hours down there. I wait 30 min. to they try to pull parts out, finally the guy said: parts are out sorry.. Are you freaking kiddin me? They have no business ethic. Terrible what can i say.. Stay away from them..

    The staff was amazing. They waited for us to get there before they left. We were cutting it close to closing time and they waited for us to drive almost 30 minutes into town to pick up my part. Thank you so much for not making me come back the next day and waste a trip.

    It’s my worst experience ever. If there’s anything below one star they will not even deserve it. I bought an AC compressor from them , then I check it at the shop and it doesn’t work. When I return it back to them they didn’t accept to return it. I don’t know why I bought it from them with the warranty.

    Drove Mr. Brown all the way to Browning and after making him and I wait for an hour and a half they finally pull the radiator and it's rusted through the bottom. Needless to say I didn't make any money for my rime or effort and Me. Brown was angry.

    This place is more expensive by double than anyone else in the whole country. most of the time more expensive than the dealer and they don't even negotiate. I wouldn't waste my time with them because know that if you are buying something from them you are paying double the price of everyone else.
