We needed a front bumper for our 2014 Chevrolet Volt and they were the only ones that had one according to their website inventory. I tried calling but never got an answer but emailing resulted in a quick response from Brandon. He confirmed availability, price, and other questions I had. Drove the 3 hours there from Austin, you go up to a window and tell them what you’re there for. You then wait for a parts puller to be available, in my case was only about 20 minutes. They drive you out to the vehicle so you can inspect the part you need, and if you need anything else just tell the parts puller and he’ll grab it. The guy that helped me was really friendly and pulled a couple additional parts I needed. Then you go back up front to settle on a price for everything (the bumper was as quoted over email) pay, and your on your way. Keep in mind I believe it’s cash only. I think I was there maybe 30 minutes, however if it’s busy I could see you having to wait a while though. Lastly, the images that come up on the inventory results aren’t going to be current, those are probably from when the vehicle arrive, which is the norm at junk yards. Overall I had a great experience and got the part I needed.

Called this place one morning to ask about an engine they had in stock. I wanted to verify because it was a 5 hour drive. They said they had it. I called again a couple hours later to let them know I was starting the 5 hour drive to head to them and again VERIFY they had the engine. They said yes. So I drove all the way there THEN they decide to go get my engine. Guess what, wrong engine. It was a v8 when I specifically stated v6 numerous times. They used the VIN off the door when doing their inventory which is amateur. And in this situation was from a different truck with a different engine and transmission.

I messaged this auto salvage place back-and-forth to get a item. I followed there directions to let them know that I was on my way. I drove an hour and a 1/2 to get there and then they told me the item was sold the day before. This is poor communication and poor service at this facility. I wouldn't recommend this place.Update from the response. It's sad they dont take responsibility for there error. Per my messages, yes I was told a price on the 21st. I responded back on the 26th about the console. They Messaged back with the address and instructions, but failed to tell me they sold it already. The message back states no calls, message only and message when on your way. I followed them 100%. This is what you get when you deal with people that dont care and dont take responsibility for there actions. The sad part about this is they sent a guy to pick me up out front to take me to the vehicle to get the console. They didnt even know it was gone already.

Found a part i was looking for on a online parts search but it was a 4 hr drive so i thought i would call to ask a few questions . They were really helpful on the phone , not short and answered my questions . Asked em to get eyes on the part and look it over for me . They did and gave me an honest description , did not try to over sell it . Made the trip up to get it and found them to be very polite and helpful . They took care not to tear part up getting it off . Really it was a good experience and the guys were great . It was a bit of a trip for me but i would make it again for a good part i need given the way they conducted buisness . To get a review from me you got to really screw up or impress me . They impressed me !
