Purchased a hood and fender on ebay off of Chucks. I am 4+ hours away from York. I purchased and paid for the parts at noon on Thursday and was assured it would be pulled and ready for my pickup the following day. I left my home at 8 am Friday. I made plans to transport a dog for a rescue since I was heading that way anyway. I got a call from Luke at 10am. Stating that the vehicle that the parts were on was crushed Thursday and they couldn't help me. I pleaded with him and told him I was now obligated to come up there regardless since I committed to this transport. He said sorry he didn't have the hood or the fender for my 2008 Tahoe and apologized again. So we continued to drive and at Carlisle decided to call the auto salvage directly and spoke with another salesman that assured me they had the parts. We decided to stop at the parts store at 1:30 where the man at the desk (mike) told me they had the parts and could have them pulled by Monday... told him thanks but no thanks as I am 4+ hours away... I am leaving a review here as since the seller cancelled the eBay listing I wasn't able to leave a negative review there... buyer beware... I think Luke was too "busy" to check availability for me... had he checked my parts may have still been ready by the time I got there...

I have dealt with Chuck's Auto Salvage for years now at my current place of employment. I deal with a salesman by the name of Lance and he is always extremely helpful with anything that we need and is very accommodating/informative if there are any issues with a parts delivery/availability. Easy to work with and gives great attention to detail when in comes to customer accounts. I know we will continue to build our relationship with Chuck's for years to come.

Drove 2 hours to pick up engine transmission transfer case and starter. Unfortunately the engine and transmission had too much rust for my level of experience to deal with so I didn't purchase them. Customer service has been great through this whole process so far. I'm guessing this is a mix up of part or part number BUT, after renting the trailer, driving two hours there to purchase all these things, thinking I was getting a Jeep Wrangler transfer case as listed on the website, I get all the way back home (going on 6th hour of trip) and find out the transfer case they loaded is for a Ford Explorer. Disappointed but hoping they'll work with me to fix this to make it right. Will update review if/when resolved.Update: they retired the funds for the incorrect part and I ended up finding my parts out of state and had them delivered to the garage for less than what I was going to spend here. Upped the 2 star to a 3 star for the return of funds and I didn't have to return the part.

Couldn't ask for more professional staff. I worked with both the Douglassville and York offices. It was a great expirience and the owners should be proud of their staff. Friendly would be an understatement as they were extremely helpful throughout the process. I was able to buy a door for my 2013 Pathfinder at a reasonable price and it was absolutely flawless. Just had to bolt it on. Staff at the yard answered my questions about installation and were very helpful and polite. Will definitely be my first call any time I need a part and will share their info with others. Great Job Chuck's!!!

Matt at the front desk York location is totally awesome! He really went above and beyond to get exactly what I needed down to the exact paint match code! Reasonable pricing and overall an awesome place to do business!!

Awful service! We ordered a wheel which the wrong one was received. The garage we use spoke to Lance multiple times And no return label has been sent. The wheel arrived sept 2nd and the garage called that day to initiate a return. It is now 20+ days later and Lance continues to advise he will talk to the necessary people so we receive a return label.Here we are still $250 down the drain and a wheel we can’t use. Absolutely do not recommend purchasing from chucks!

They charge premium prices for their used part and you get bad communication as a package deal!!! Awful experience! After 10 business days still waiting for my refund! Bought new item online and have it professionally painted and still saved $60 at the end!
