I've noticed that I'm not alone in thinking that the OKC location is not great. The app wouldn't let me pay with card for some reason, so we called to see if I needed 2 separate cashier's checks (I bought 2 cars). They said I only needed one. I get there and they tell me that I need one for each car. I had them check to make sure everything else was correct on the cashier's check, they confirmed. I went back with 2 separate checks. They said their system couldn't clear them, but they didn't know why. I called the customer service center who told me that it was due to my name being different (the check had my middle initial instead of my full middle name). The lady at the location blamed the customer service office for giving false information about the single check, but she refused to give me any additional information to resolve this issue. She is not friendly and not helpful. For anyone who needs to know, they don't take cash payments on location, they do take cashier's checks, but it needs to be one for each lot you buy, and if it doesn't match the name of your Copart account exactly, they won't take it. You will have to call the customer service line to use debit or credit card to pay if it doesn't give you that option on the app.

This place has comedically horrible customer service. I was waiting for someone to tell me I was being punked and Ashton was standing by with his camera level awful. My horse trailer has been here due to insurance company dragging their feet 7 months on a claim. The insurance company finally released the trailer, gave us 10 days to pick it up and this office told us to bring a cashiers check, that was it. We arrive to get it after driving about 10 hours straight from TN. The front desk receptionist is again, comically awful with customer service. Tells us she will have to get approval for the cashiers check, that they are “cracking down on them” …the cashiers check from a bank, that we were told to bring… after watching them run from office to office, not saying a word to us as we stand up front. They sit in the managers offices for 20 min, she comes back out, again no explanation what just occurred or why it took them running around to different offices and 20 minutes to get approval for the payment method we were asked to bring by them….and she processes my $1200 storage fee, directs us to the lot to wait for someone to come get us. Another guy comes to get us and takes us to the trailer that was not placed on a block so it’s sunk in the ground so low we can’t get it on our truck. They tell us they can’t help and won’t touch it. They aren’t allowed to. We are clearly frustrated and ready to be done with this entire process and so the guys offer to help but have to get the managers approval. The manager, who I have never met or had any interaction with prior to today, comes out slamming his doors of his truck and is immediately hostile and don’t forget, comedic level rude….does not address us, walks past us and talks to the lot guys then angrily comes and tells us it’s not their job to help us or how the trailer is dropped off there, and we should have been prepared, there’s photos on line (online photos are from arrival not showing it sunk a foot in the ground), and it wasn’t their fault no one told us it was sunk because we did not specifically ask that. He continues to stomp around slamming doors, talking to the guys as if we aren’t standing right there, making rude comments and passive aggressive statements regarding the trailer and insurance company dealings. The lot guys offer to lift it for us out of the hole and the manager tells them “if they break something, their fired today”and continues to try to discourage them from helping us…telling them “it’s going to be so bad if they break something and he isn’t going to be responsible, they’ll be fired”. I mean this guy was hyped up and hellbent on making our lives as difficult as possible it seemed. Not sure what made us the target for his (hopefully not regularly occurring) vitriol today. Told us we could go to the parking lot and call a company to have them come lift it. Those were our options. The lot guys offer to try to lift it and say they’re willing to help but had to get approval. They get it out of the hole, we finally get hooked up and the manager once again slams his truck door to move out of our way and follows us out. Does not apologize for his nasty demeanor, lack of professionalism or say anything for that matter. Hopefully out of embarrassment but that would require a level of self awareness I don’t feel was present with this guy. I don’t know how this place stays in business with this lack of basic human decency and customer service skills but at the very least this manager deserves his own TV show if he greats customers like this on the daily… and I hope so badly he was just having a bad day. A real bad day apparently… Otherwise I feel bad for these guys who work for him because they did at-least have the hearts to help us and see we were tired, stressed and just wanted to get out of their hair and on our way home. Anyway, thanks to the guys who helped us be able to get out of there. This ordeal made us never want to step foot in the state of Oklahoma again. As for the rest of you….i hope you all have the day you deserve.
