Had a good experience with this junkyard. They quickly found the tailgate I needed and ordered it without any hassle. The part arrived in a timely manner. I have no complaints.

They sold me faulty injectors, all five injectors failed test, except for the one they kept for themselves. It's my fault for trusting a junk yard.

Called ahead to ask if the part I needed was available, asked if it needed to be pulled or if it was ready to pick up and was told it was ready to go. Drove an hour and a half to get there and when I do the guy at the counter says they don't have it, it was cored out months ago. Useless.

Me and my brother walked in this morning, trying to get a door replacement trying to negotiate price, owner son got agitated and aggravated real quick for some odd reason he was arguing with us. He gave us one warning to leave and pull the gun out on us. Do not ever come to this auto parts store owner son was disrespectful and rude

Nick helped me, he was an honest and helpful young man that went above and beyond to get me taken care of. The owner Joe Rodriguez, was helpful too with adding extra information that he had learned from years of experience with my particular vehicle. I cannot say enough good things about this company, and these two men! I drove 5 1/2 hours round trip to get this transmission not knowing who I would be dealing with when I got there, but I would do it all over again knowing how fair and upstanding this company and it's owner/employees are. I HIGHLY recommend Dakota Auto Center! UPDATE - by the time my mechanic got to installing the transmission we had gotten from Dakota a week and a half had gone by, I found out that Dakota had sent the wrong torque converter with the transmission I had bought. As I had mentioned in my earlier review I was 5 1/2 hours round trip from where they are located. My mechanic called initially to explain to Joe what had happened, and I followed up the next day. Joe was apologetic for the mistake asked me to give him a couple of hours to locate one. He called me back the same day saying he had found one and that it would be delivered to my mechanic's shop the next day (free of charge). It was delivered as promised at no charge to us. I am happy to report the transmission has been installed and is working well! Once again, Joe Rodriguez and his business have shown how a reputable business is supposed to be ran! I was impressed the first time, and equally as impressed the 2nd time!

So which one was it? Was he the only one in the shop or were there customers there? You KNEW the part was not ready yet you continued to blame it on the body shop next door. Then when I tell you the body shop guy said he’d of had it done but you hadn’t gave them the part, you get mad and yell at me on the phone and hang up. All cause I called out your lies! Not to mention all the lies you said the day before! And then when he gets there the first thing you do is say get out. He had every right to be upset! You never once mentioned a “broken forklift”. Can’t even speak to your CUSTOMERS who are spending over EIGHT HUNDRED dollars in your shop!! Not professional! You’d rather act crazy and push on people. So no sir you deserve the reviews you got!

This the worst auto parts in the world. Its the worst because when you call you get a price and when you get there to pick up they raise the price. He's done it twice to me now and whenever I went to pick up a gearbox he doubled the amount and according to him noone else had it and thats why he raises the price. He just makes you waste your time and gas. I don't recommend purchasing from this place.

I wold like everyone to be very careful when purchasing parts from this place. We lost $710.00 doing transaction with this company. We ordered 2007 sprinter drive and it came in damage. Their response was they are not responsible and we should take this up the shipping company. However the shipping company says that the parts were defective from the start so they are not responsible either now we have a law suit against them. Just be aware of bad business people like this.

They have a radio out of a Ram pickup that I would like to buy. I have called everyday for about two weeks trying to get a part number and or the VIN from the truck it is out of so I can make sure it is what I need. Every time I call they say "Are you the guy from Cincinnati? I will have that to you today" I am not kidding every time. Guess what? Almost two weeks later I still don't have it. It is almost comical at this point. I honestly would be afraid to buy it at this point if they ever did send me the requested info. I have never tried so hard to buy something from someone in my life, good luck to you guys.

I had an extremely hard time finding an axle for my truck, I finally called Dakota Auto Center and they had one. I read the reviews from Dakota Auto Center and was apprehensive to order a part I had no chance to inspect myself as I am in Northern Michigan, but I was getting desperate (I had been searching for this axle for weeks) I decided to order the axle on a Friday, the axle was on a pallet and shipped out that day. I recieved the axle the next Tuesday as promised. The axle arrived in good shape and was as advertised. I would not hesitate to order from Dakota Auto Center in the future.

Joe from Dakota Auto Parts is great! He really goes the extra mile to find out exactly what you're looking for and will help you find it any way he can. Being a woman searching for auto parts in this industry can be tricky and even uncomfortable at times, but Joe was respectful, knowledgeable and honest which was very appreciated. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in search of parts.

Actually it's the worst because I put a deposit on a part was told to come back Friday Dec 24 before 5pm so I did but on arrival the business was closed not due open til new-year I back charged the deposit due to no product was rendered after some weeks the charged me back the deposit telling my bank I did receive the part SMH after talking to Tony the manager he said I was gona be refunded all but 15% of my money for restocking fee lol I never received the part to begin with this business is a joke no customer service satisfaction at all and there's a guy named nick who thinks it's a game to play with people's money and talk down to customers bad business no star is what this business deserves

I've never delet with a junk yard where I thought the people working there actually cared about you and the parts u r getting r the right ones. I'm a woman and have been scammed over a few times with getting work or parts done for my cars/truck/bus. These people don't have a bad bone in them. They r honest caring people. This is my favorite junk yard in the DFW area !! And no I don't work for them or a relative to them.

Had a price for a part on their website then would not honor it. Every time I called their story would change, them the last story was that the vehicle had been crushed..really. OH, but the part was available earlier..right.. When someone is wanting to give you money for something, you would think that is a no no brainer. And if the website was in error, too bad..not my fault.

Do NoT Get your car parts here, he is rude and hangs up the phone on people and yells at them not letting them speak...they will take your money for a part they don’t even have! Sold a bad engine and won't warranty. Installed engine and started it. Misfired. After diagnosing, the engine had been overheated to where all the valves are loosed and pistons are damaged. This place should no longer be in business!!!
