Called about a fender 3 months ago I saw on Car-Part.com and was told it was gone. No problem! Looked for the fender again last month, and they still show it in stock. Called again and asked them if they found it or if they forgot to delete from their inventory. I was told they didn’t delete it, but would now so it would not appear in searches. Looked again today…still there. Both times I called in I spoke with very rude folks trying to get off the phone. Short answers and not much info. I’d recommend the owners put their sales reps on commission and then you’ll see them take care of every caller.

I bought a couple parts from here, price was fair for a few smaller parts. For bigger parts they have high prices. Yesterday I went to go look at a few parts and the guy on the desk was very rude and had an attitude apparently they have a new policy where you cannot pull out parts or even go look at it despite if they work or not. It’s fine but I just want to see if it works or at least look at the condition in person before buying and he did let me do that less than a month ago when I came for speakers and they turned out to be bad, he was like no worries and I left. Now, his excuse was it’s an old car we don’t care if it works or not do you want to buy it or no. He even said, if you want a working or new one that works, go get a new one somewhere else. That in it itself is crazy!! But there are way to say that, but no he showed rudeness and a very bad attitude. Will not do business with these dishonest and disrespectful people again. I used to like this place and done business with them quite a few times but now I highly do not recommend it. They will sell you bad parts with no return!

They offer prices over the phone and then blatantly increase them, in addition to selling parts and seeing that they don't work they want to deduct part of the money you paid, it seems like a complete mockery to customers!!!

Excellent service. Very helpful and answered all the questions I had. This is honestly the best place to get parts. They are fast and they will not have you waiting hours for a part.

I called and was told that they had 3 of the parts that I needed to choose from after waiting on hold. I drive here, walk their yard and they don’t have what I called to supposedly verify.. Don’t waste your time especially if you see them on “Carpart” their stock isn’t accurate nor are their verifications honest..

They had what I needed. With a deposit of $100 they pulled the rear end for me and Juan called the next day to come get it. They carefully loaded it into my truck and away I went. Now I just have to install it next week!

Well got a transmission from them a couple days ago and it didn't work took it back and they gave me no hassle on a refund we will see how long it takes to put the money back on my card

There are lots of makes and models and most cars are the year 2000 and above so that’s a plus. They will also pull the part for you. The only downside is when you go take a look at a part before purchasing, the cars aren’t labeled by rows or location so finding them is a nuisance. For example some salvage yards have aisles, as in A-Z so finding them is a breeze. Will not this place I was told to walk about half way and look to my left 😂 which narrowed it down to about 100 cars. If you don’t mind the walk this place is great

Paid $54.87 for a spare tire. Waited 45 minutes at least. Mentioned crew with full blatter's. No restrooms. Only to see a shoulder wear worn tire. Still waiting for refund. King salvage after burger box had much better deal. ☝️

Absolutely the best salvage shop in the DFW. After a long day of stopping around many salvage stores, I ended up at Discount Auto Salvage. I was looking for a specific part for my 1986 Chrysler 5th Avenue and at this point, I was really desperate. If I were to describe myself, I would say that the one thing I know the least about is cars and the mechanical issues that come with them. The young man behind the desk, I believe the manager, helped me with all the questions I had and even referred me to a place where I can get said part installed. Speaking of the part I was looking for, the manager actually told me that I needed a completely different part from what I was looking for. I was dumbfounded as out of the 30 places I went to, none of them told me this. The best thing is that they had that part in stock so you can count on their vast inventory. The price was really cheap and the customer service was phenomenal. Definitely recommended!!

Terrible customer service I contacted Steven Swanson for a passanger door assemply for 200 when I arrived to the store they took everything from the door and only sell me the shell for 220 after I drove 45 minutes to get to them. Highly not recommended Worst customer service Liars

Waste of time. Advertise one price on car-part, but once you actually try to buy something for price advertised “it’s a mistake” So… fix it? I have experience with car-part and you can fix a mistake. They are just dishonest or lazy probably both.

I have an Auto Repair shop in Arlington. I have tried to use this salvage yard three times in the last six months. All of my experiences were bad. The first time they did not have the tools to take the part off that they told me they had off before I drove there. The second time the part was broke. Today they had a motor listed for an Escape that I need with 66,000 miles. I sent my mechanic down to look at the speedometer and of course it was out of the car. The manager there swore that he saw it and I can take his word on the 66,000 miles. My tech took a picture of the vin # and we pulled a carfax on the car and of course the last listed mileage was 150,000. I sold my customer a motor with 66,000 miles. There is no way I can do this to them. I had to spend $400.00 more to get a motor under 66,000 miles from a reputable salvage yard. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!!! THEY ARE NOT HONEST!!!
