WARNING! Bad service will take your money. Especially if you need a engine rebuild or transmission. The only ride you'll have is the one they take you on. Will return your vehicle in pieces.

I am a 74 year old Vietnam veteran on a fixed income who wanted a better engine for my 2000 F-150 even though mine was running but using too much oil. Searching the Marketplace I found “Joe” from Homero’s Junkyard on N Sugar Rd Edinburg. We agreed that for $1600 he would install a motor and transmission. The work was completed within 3 days and he got paid. Two days later I had to take the truck back because the “new” motor was worse than mine because it was using much more oil. This went on for 5 months with supposedly 3 different engines he tried, which were all junk. He agreed to refund some of the money which he never did. He’s always hiding, avoiding my calls, or saying he will call me later which he never does. I have tried to speak directly with the owner Homero but he doesn’t help at all, he just directs me back to Joe and says that Joe needs to handle it. Homero is as much to blame for letting “Joe” rob people under the business name. Finally after a lot of tries I finally was able to pull my truck out of the back of the shop and pull it to my house and dump it in my backyard. Don’t trust this shop with your business, they will rob you.

Worst experience ever. Took 3 months to supposedly fix my transmission and never did. Went to pick up my truck and had the catalytic converters stolen from it and replaced them with used old ones. And thats only because I told them I would make a police report. Returned only half my money. Lies after lies. Avoid getting scammed by these people.
