Extremely unorganized, unprofessional, and rude. Waited 4 hours yes 4 hours for a radiator, everyone else that came after me, got serviced first and they won’t short staffed plenty of workers, called in advance for the part.

They will not take payments over the phone and make you wait in person before they pull the parts. I called about a transmission and they said I will have to come and wait for it to be pulled. This yard must only work well for the locals. I’m over an hour away and it would take at least a couple hours to pull a transmission while I wait that is still in the car. Complete nonsense. I see what all the one stars are about.

Hooper’s offered a great set of services when I needed a replacement A/C control panel for my Toyota. After confirming the part they had was what I needed, Brandon shipped the part to me and it came in great condition. Worked perfectly, and was communicative during the entire process. Fantastic!! They have helped me a lot and they stand behind what they sell you. I sell used vehicles and I use this place a ton to get parts. I've gotten everything from transmissions to fuel pumps and everything in between. They will do what they can to make it right just be patient they do get busy and have to wait sometimes.

I was told a transmission was ready waiting. I got there and had to wait an hour and a half to get the transmission. When I got it, it looked like it just got pulled. Pulled the pan off, and it is full of shaving. Hopefully it works. I was told 1 price and paid more when I got there. Torque converter was not in transmission

Went in to buy an engine stood around for 30 minutes before someone asked me what I needed, bought the engine while waiting for said engine an older guy with grey hair behind the counter was being rude to customers making somewhat racist comments just being rude in general, finally my engine got to the loading zone went to load it up and noticed the valve cover was busted and the lifter was cracked. Intake was cracked and busted as well as the distributor was broke I did eventually get a motor bike. I’m sure I will be back, as long as I don’t have to deal with the older gentleman with the gray hair.

Every time I want something from then it’s more the a hour wait and the last time I wanted a motor it took the 4 hours to fine it and I lived 1.5 hours away and when they did find it it was not the right motor. This place is just too slow and it needs to be updated for customer service. No one should have to wait that long to get a part.

Very Unprofessional I even called a head of time They made me wait an hour and then they lied to me three times I drove an hour because they laughed and said they had to part they did not Had me waiting If I ever do go back. It will because I have to and I have no other choice. If I can find it somewhere else. I will not go back if I don't have to. If I could do go back.I would be rude to them and lie to them like they did me Again I drove an hour for nothing Whoever owns the place needs to clean house

I called to check if a part was in stock and was told it was and the cost and that it was in good shape except for a minor scratch. I made plans to visit my sister since it was a 6 hour drive each way. I called again to request photos before I finalized my plans and I was told the part had been sold and was not in stock. I had already made plans to visit my sister so I asked her to see if she could check on the part to see if it was in stock since in the previous call whoever answered seemed hurried or annoyed and she told me it was in stock and they quoted a price of 50$ less that what I was quoted. I asked for photos but was told she had already ended the call. I visit my sister and made the extra 2hr drive each way just to find that in addition to the scratches that were slightly visible in the photo online the fender had also has been damaged by the forklift that moved it. Online it was listed as grade A which is like new. With the scratches I'd say it would be a grade B at best but with it banged up from the forklift it's probably a C. Why switch my bent up fender for another bent up fender?! What a complete waste of time and money.

These guys were great. Called on Friday afternoon, came to pick up Saturday morning and was in and out with a brand new interior for my car. The price I got over the phone was the price I paid, and a big shout out to Brandon, Tabby and Luis. I even forgot a couple of trim pieces and Tabby shipped them out to me no problem since I'm a couple of hours away and couldn't make the drive. Definitely recommend and would come back if I need other things

I called and spoke to Ben, after a couple minutes he assured me they had the multiple parts I needed. I called back to double check, was again told they had what I needed. I drove 2 1/2 hours, waited 30 minutes for someone to take me to the parts car. After 2 trips out into the yard with an employee, I was told "if Ben told you we have it you might be in trouble". On the 3rd trip back into the office, office person told the yard employee "we don't have that car anymore". So....after a 2 1/2 hour drive and an hour waiting and searching for a parts that didn't exist, being eaten alive by red ants in the junkyard, I left empty-handed without even an apology for the misinformation and my wasted time. Please don't waste your time with this place, find a reputable company to support instead.

Called to see if they had the part. They said yes and we called again to see if they would take it off so we didn’t have to wait after long ride. They said No so we went anyways and after our 1 1/2 ride they said they didn’t have the part. Very unprofessional on the phone. Stay away.

Purchased first transmission and took it to the mechanic, it had a hole in the side and cracked gear linkage, took it back to Hooper’s which is 65 miles away and exchanged for another one, after the mechanic installed it, transmission had only drive - reverse , neutral and park didn’t work. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I cant overstate the absolutely excellent service we received. Their interest in customer satisfaction is one in a million! Everyone I dealt with regarding this transaction was willing to help and did in fact help. Their commitment and resolve helped move the transaction forward with considerable speed. And I must not fail to mention Shanita, an absolutely amazing lady. She definitely went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied. My advise? Just tell them what you want, but DO NOT tell them how to get it done. You may just be shortchanging yourself! Thank you guys...!!

From my personal experience all the staff is very helpful. Several transactions Shanita is the best employee there she is quick on her job. Once she knows the part is on the yard she gets it someone to take you to it. To make sure that's exactly what you want. She gets you in and out as fast as possible. I usually do not give a five-star rating but because of her and because she's always found exactly what I need that's why I gave a 5 star rating. She is the best

Worst junkyard in North Carolina. Drive two hours was told parts were available. When I arrived I wanted an hour for an employee to take me to the yard. Got out to the yard and no one could find the car was told it wasn’t there anymore. Don’t waste your time going to this place.

That had what i needed for my car everytime I've been there and all oi had to do was wait on them to take it off the car or it was already sitting on a shelf and they just grab it and then you pay them , (great prices by the way) and you're ready to go. I recommend it to everyone if you need a used part at a great price.

Bought a transmission from them in December.Wasn't able to get it installed by a shop until mid January and it crapped out by February.Gave them a call and let them know,just to have the girl answering the phone say"Too bad your warranty is out".I told her some info on the warranty would have been nice,her response "if you can read it's on your receipt!" I will push my truck somewhere before I use the rude people again.Beware,They will take your money and refuse to work with you at all.

They are hateful on the phone. I called because I will need a fuel line for my 2004 Dodge Dakota 4.7 and she told me they don't sell any fuel lines and was real hateful about it as to explain and she just repeated herself again in a more hateful tone. I recommend you don't go here. There are a bunch of junkies rednecks

First time going there. Large yard with a good variety of cars and trucks. Parts are pulled for you after you confirm the condition is okay. Office staff was polite and their part puller did a great job not damaging the item I purchased. No sales tax on the items in North Carolina. Lot is open until noon on Saturdays and was busy the whole time I was there. Would definitely visit them again.

Brandon is a very outstanding employee. We brought a rear end from there . The rear end had issues,called spoke with him. We couldn't find another one. He went out of his way to work with me while I rebuilt my rear end,so I would still have a vehicle. Contrary to other post about not standing by there warranty. They do if you communicate with them. Would buy again from Hopper/Brandon

WORST COMPANY EVER TO DEAL WITH. I AM IN ATLANTA. THEY WANTED ME TO ARRANGE MY OWN SHIPPING FOR A MOTOR WHICH I DID AND THEY SENT A MOTOR WITH BIG HOLE IN BLOCK EVEN A BLIND PERSON WOULDN'THAVE MISSED IT. THEY REFUSE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING OR EVEN GIVE REFUND. BRANDON IS WORST TO COMMUNICATE WITH. THEY WILL TALK TO YOU UNTIL THEY GET PAID. AFTER PAYMENT WAS SENT HE WAS COMPLETELY MIA. I went to Hooper's with a friend to pick up a transmission. I saw a wrecked BMW X3 and thought I would see if it has the part I paid $150 plus at the dealership that turned out was the wrong size for my model year even though I went to the dealership to avoid that problem. And since they did not have a connector or clip and the clip was the only thing I needed I had to buy a complete hose set. To my utter delight a cut hose was laying in the car with the hose connector and clip attached. The clip itself sells for $50 plus online and I was told I could just have the piece since my friend was spending $500 for the transmission.
