The metal collection point places high demands on the purity of the purchased metal... each time they look for new problems to be able to lower the purchase price. No visible price list of the purchased metal. There is no visible scale at the main junkyard. The employee did not want to weigh it separately (steel and cast iron scrap) but together... it is known that cast iron is more expensive.

Jim at the parts counter is Awesome!! He helped me get a part for my 00 van I was having a super hard time finding.. I made the drive from Ocala but I'd make the drive again any day for such good fast service by him. Thanks Jim!

The younger idiot behind the counter operates on a commercial grade level of incompetence & unprofessionalism-I get setting the bar low for an extremely low paying job, but goodness- I suggest going elsewhere, should you need even boarderline knowledgeable assistance.

I thought I was out of luck when my '77 Toyota pickup radiator started leaking and almost all the used choices at car-part.com were bad. Mark had a new NOS unit which I got at a great, discount price. He sent email pix and verified measurements. Shipping was fast and service was excellent. It works like a charm and I'm back out on the road!

Drove to John's today from Daytona Beach. My husband and I have never been there before. They were awesome at helping us find the exact rim we needed for my 1986 Plymouth Voyager, ( which is in awesome condition and I am not willing to let go of it yet). Not only did they have a rim in stock, but they had 2, so we took both! They were a fast, friendly, and courteous!! Plus gave us a great price!!!! Thanks everyone for all your help! We will be back!!!

Best auto parts yard around. The prices are low, and the inventory is high. I rarely post reviews, but I’m going to on this one. During this, ‘pandemic’ or government overreach (whatever you want to call it), it’s been very hard to get people back to work, because of the incentive to stay home and get paid. Business hours and capabilities are extremely impacted buy this factor, which is now revealing only the most resilient companies. Johns Auto Parts is one of them. Just had another good experience recently, where they bent over backwards to provide me with what I needed. Thank you very much.

A buddy of mine mentioned them to me as another source for our car modification hobby. They had some specialty parts I needed. I bought a bunch of parts which were priced fairly, handled appropriately and with good care. From the guys in the yard to Mark and Sarah in the office to Scott in the recycling center everyone was helpful and cheerful. Helped me alot! I will spread the word. Good job guys n gals!

Very helpful. I needed a part for a Ford Explorer and they went above and beyond to get me the part. Were very helpful and nice about it. They didn't act like they were being bothered, like some customer service departments do these days. Thank you for the help and the good ole customer service!

Awesome customer support. Called there a day or two before Christmas in search of a passenger side rear view mirror for my grandmothers 2014 camry. They did not have the exact part that I needed but the lady went above and beyond and actually located one in the exact pai t color I needed in Orlando and I was able to get my grams an awesome well needed gift this year. Will definitely be a returning customer and highly recommend others to give them a call. Thanks for all your help.👍👍

Straight forward scrap metal yard. The lady running the scales was cheerful and very helpful, especially since it was my first visit. I had no clue what to expect or where to go after weighing the load and returning to the scales for my empty weight and to pick up the weight ticket to get paid. The office and payment cage personnel were helpful also. Probably less than 20 minutes start to finish.

Go see Mark and the wonderful staff of Johns auto parts! More than fair on all parts! All parts were in good working order. Couldn’t be happier with the service and parts I have received. Highly recommended. Good assortment of vehicles and more than likely to have what you’re looking for !

One star is way to many stars for this place, We actually bought our daughters first car from there used car lot in March, we were promised a new compressor would be put on the day before buying , however 2 weeks into having the car the ac went out again, and it was the compressor! That was the beginning of continued issues with the car, it did not want to go into reverse about 3 weeks after that, however we get that fixed, ever time it would rain it floods from the back window, and now my daughter was driving and the whole damn steering wheel came off and landed in her lap, Thank God she was in a parking lot! I completely understand buying a car that is used , will have some issues but just weeks of having the car is kinda ridiculous! Lesson learned and I will never go back there!! Worst place ever! I don’t even think I would recommend this place to my worst enemy!!

Mark helped me regarding my 05 Jeep Wrangler. He was great! He didn't have the part, but referred me to someone who did. I'd go back there for help in a heartbeat. Janet (sp? Sorry) was there too, and she was friendly and helpful. If they weren't so busy working we could have had a heck of a party. Give them a call.

Horrible customer service even for a junk yard. Called 3 times, each time was told "we have your info and we will get back to you by the end of the day". Waited 4 days no return call. Called back, they had the part I needed but it was from a flooded vehicle. Was told to come and pay for the part and they would pull it. Showed up, was given an astronomical amount 5 xs the going rate. Told sales person I saw online for 5 dollars brand new, immediately was told "then go buy it online". WOW!!!. For a local business to treat a local business owner with multiple service vehicles that has been a loyal customer for years like that speaks volumes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

From our first conversation the manager, Mark, was knowledgeable, informative, and as a bonus funny. They had exactly what we needed to repair/replace my burned out dash and I was really impressed with the knowledge and courtesy shown to me by the entire staff.

One star is about three too many for this place. My niece called to see how much they would give her for her junk car. The guy she talked to said $125. When she questioned nicely why it was so low, he immediately dropped it to $100. That said, ladies stay away from this place. They are stuck in the 1960's. Everyone else, find somewhere else to buy your used auto parts, like eBay or somewhere else.

Great people & best service/results. Have 1999 Chrysler Sebring convertible Limited Edition (jxi). Has very limited edition speedometer cluster with white dial faces. Had been searching for used speedometer cluster/head 2 replace my malfunctioning & unreparable cluster for over 2 yrs. Believe me took it 2 a renowned speedometer repair shop in Atlanta the owner/technician of which used to work 4 Chrysler repairing their speedometers nationally. He fixed it once, but broke again & could not be repaired. I tried finding used one through several national parts supplies, junk yards, etc. Each one searched nationally on their own but could not find one. Was sent wrong part more than once, by others. Anyway, then found John's Auto Parts, Bunnell, FL. Was not just that they found the correct part, somewhere across the country, and shipped it to me with no up charge, only their shipping cost, but they sent me their cell number to text back and forth to facilitate communication while trying to find the right part. Even responded friendily to texts after hours/wknds when they were closed. Never seen nicer people.

I inquired about a speedo cluster for my ford ranger. The lady called me back a couple hours later saying she had it, and it was waiting on her desk. Drove 40 mins there, to see a dirty muddy speedo cluster, with the clear plastic lense over the front cracked and broken, missing pieces. I was still willing to purchase it at this point if it was working. (Figured i would use the lense from my old one) They couldn't guarantee it worked, and wouldn't offer even a 24hr return period if it was non functional, but did insist there were no returns. I have done business with the salvage yards in daytona with very few problems. But this place has poor practices. I will not be calling them in the future, and would recommend the same to you.

Fast and friendly service and clean parts at a fraction of what the others guys get. Was looking all over for an instrument cluster for my son Mercedes and Mark had it ready to go. Thank you Mark and Brook for all that you do!

Excellent. Two tires mounted, bal, tax etc for my car total cost $84. Waiting room was dirty and attitude wasn't chick-filet. But at that price.......How can you lose?

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a business of any kind. At first it was no problem they would pick up the car and junk it. Then they tell us that they can't take it, then they tell us that we have to now pay them for the tow that we just got and get it off their property. The man who was "helping" us was unruly and cursed at us and let me just emphasize that this is NOT a place you want to go EVER.

This is by far the number one place I have ever been to for UNPROFESSIONAL attitudes and customer service...it was awful!!!! The short older man who somewhat acknowledged me when i came to turn in my aluminum windows was highly disrespectful and should not be associated with customers. I will tell every person I know to not use this place and to use the other scrap metal place in town. If I can at least keep one customer from using this terrible place it will be worth writing this review.

If you are bringing scrap metal to this place beware that they will rip you off. I brought them approx. 100 lbs of aluminum in the form of a channel letter sign from my business. I brought it in two pieces. They told me it was .10 cents a LB because it was dirty which means there was some copper wire, plastic faces, and some steel screws holding it together. Otherwise it would be .35 cents a LB. They explained it was a lot of labor to clean it of the plastic and copper wire and etc. I got that, so I went back to get the second half of the sign and spent 15 mins removing the faces, the copper wire, the neon tubes etc. When I brought this piece they told me it was still dirty because it had a few ounces of screws still holding the sign together. About 5 mins or less of work to remove. Just beware that they will find a way to pay you less than the actual value for your metal. `Also you don't get to see a readout from the scale so you have to take their word for the weight. I assume their scales are checked by the Florida Dept. of Agriculture like the scales in my business are. Not like you have much option in Flagler county but just beware.
