The communication was excellent. They even delivered my part. The only problem was they quoted me an engine and then when it was time for delivery that engine had been sold. They had another in stock for a tad more $.

I’m suing this company for trying to scam me out of my money. I had to pay a core for a transmission and was told I would get my money for the core back once I returned the transmission back. Owner told me he would cash app me in a hour or so, time goes by I contact them back, nothing. Called the next day and spoke with Edwin which is the person I was dealing with during this entire process, he told me hold on and let him check, put me on hold and hung up on me. I called and texted, no answer. Beware of this company, bad customer service and will cheat you out your money. I’m so glad I recorded leaving the transmission at the property with my phone just in case they tried to pull something and as I suspected they did. We will have our day in court next month!

As a business owner this place really needs to get their act together. I’d be very leery listing anything from this company. You are sending people to a facility that feels unsafe. They have AK 47 sitting on their desks everyone is heavily armed at this facility and I now know why because they are basically stealing from you. Bought a transmission and motor from them. Transmission fine, motor not fine. Put motor in my customers car to find head gaskets were bad. So instead of dealing with junk yard right away, my customer came first so I focused on getting their vehicle back to them. After paying my technician to put motor in only to take it back out. So now that my customer is happy it’s time to deal with taking motor back which was bad, and get my core money back from transmission. Drove three hours, got there, they will not give me my money back even though it’s still under warranty, they will not give me core money for transmission. So now we are currently disputing charge on credit card, drop core and engine at their facility once the guy said warranty does not mean money back. I was very uncomfortable and now must wait 6-9 weeks for my credit card company to dispute what they should have handled.

Business is a total Scam. We placed an order for a 2006 Acura TL with 97,000 miles. They delivered a 2003 Honda Accord transmission with over 215,000 miles. In no way interchangeable and if it was the mileage is Way more. Absolute Fraud!! In addition when R&L came to pick it up they did not have it ready Thursday when they said it was ready Tuesday. So Friday comes and they must have just put some random transmission on a truck. I don't know what their story will be because they do NOT answer the phone. "The wireless customer is unavailable" Another phone number that our service writer used to send the $850 payment to is no longer in service just 3 days after the transmission shipped. Update: An honest business also doesn’t solicit reviews to drown out the negative ones. After leaving this review, you had seven people leave five stars with newly created accounts. You can see why I have trust issues with you, that’s dishonest. I simply want a refund. Why is that so hard? If you actually put this much effort into taking care of your customers instead of fraudulently creating good reviews for yourself, you would be doing OK

I paid a $200 deposit to hold a transmission, which they backed out on. Now I can’t get my deposit back. Every time I call they say they will send it at the end of the day, but they don’t send it. Total scam!

Had employees drive two hours away for the transmission to be no good, drove there again to wait hours for them to pull what should have already been pulled, then drove 2 more hours to have to wait 5 hours for the owner to return for a refund. Do not buy anything from these people. If was me, I would have closed their business till they paid me, luck for them I was not there.

On a Monday I called to order an engine and was given a quote. I put down a deposit over the phone then asked when I could pick it up. I was told "Friday at the latest, as we have a few engines to remove this week" then he said possibly on Wednesday he'd talk to his mechanic and call me back on Tuesday. I never got a call. So I called Wednesday and he said no it'll be out on Friday On Friday I called just to see if it was ready and he said "it hasn't arrived yet" . Naturally my skepticism was peaked as it seemed the story had changed from having to remove the engine to having to order one. But "I'll call you tomorrow when its ready." I never received a call again A week into the endeavor , on Monday I decided to go down to the location just to see if it actually existed and to talk face to face. Upon arrival I found it very difficult to locate the office and after stumbling around for a while I found an employee who directed me to a yellow 10' trailer that had been converted into the office behind several broken down vehicles. I talked with the man and he explained he originally thought the engine was compatible with the one I was looking for but he had to order one from another yard instead and it wouldn't cost me any more money. I understand this point completely there are many trim levels to vehicles and I often get confused myself. But he said it would "definitely" be ready for pickup on Wednesday and "I'll call you tomorrow or Wednesday" On Thursday afternoon I still had not heard from him so I called to ask for my deposit back. After some push back he said, "ok ill give you it in cash come by any time" I said ill be there in the morning. This morning I drove the hour from my place to the 10' yellow trailer. He fumbled around for a minute and asked me what my cashapp details were... I drove an hour so he could give me a digital refund?! He's lucky I didn't ask for gas money and lost wages as I had to arrange to come in late for work. ... m

Dec. 12, 2023... We called them back in October to buy our 2 junk cars. They took 1-2 weeks to send someone to buy the titles to both of the cars. Then took another 6 or more weeks to actually send someone to pick the cars up. My husband was starting to look into the process of Abandonment. Because we didn't have the titles anymore. Which meant that no other junk car business wanted to take our cars. The legal aspect made it more stressful. Do NOT use this company to buy junk cars from you. 😤

That was the worst experience i have ever had! I drove 2 hours to get an engine that he told me he had, and it was ready for pick up. Get there about 45 minutes after they opened and nobody was there. So I waited over an hour before he showed up. When he finally did get there his first priority was to get junked cars loaded. He told me we can get my engine after he was done loading the 18 wheeler. Needless to say I left without the engine. Huge waste of time. If i could give no stars i would.

Drove in down a long dirt road. It took a few minutes to find the office. Seemed like everyone was busy, that's a good thing. The Woman showed me where the office is and I asked if she had the vehicle/parts i was looking for. She checked with another guy and he said the parts were already sold. The woman in the office checked and gave me 2 places that had my part and gave me the contact info. She was very helpful. I will go back again, when'if I'm in town.

Pays top dollar on scrap cars, the guy operating the tractor to unload does an excellent job, not a scratch on my trailer , tt&e ruined both my fenders from an incompetent machine operator. Rodriguez is the place to go!!

Worst place ever the owner is never in place got a transmission from this place and they gave me the wrong one went back to get the right one and they said they didn't have it. The owner never wants to answer his phone, after calling him 20-30 times he final answered his phone said he'd have the right transmission the next day didn't have it, than sold a a damaged transmission. When I called about it he claimed that he never talked to me. Don't do business with him, he's a crook and a thief

Terrible. Both myself and my husband called to see if they had parts for a 2006 Mercury Milan. Both of us were told yes. We got to the junk yard, beware you have to drive down a rocky dirt road, with little to no place to park. The guy that we both talked to was not there when we arrived, so the other two people there had no idea, so we just went walking around to see if we could find the mercury milan. Good luck finding anything, there is no organization at this junk yard whatsoever. We went to LKQ junk yard beforehand, and they at least had all the cars lined up. These cars were piled up on top of one another, as well as just scattered all around. It really looked like, and smelled like, a dump. It was disgusting. The head guy got back after about 20 minutes, and he said wait and they would go pull the mercury milan out. He said it was all the way in the back. Jose and another guy went with their big machinery. They were gone for at least 30 minutes before a few of the other workers were about to walk past us and stopped to tell us that he couldn't find it, but he knows he has it, can we wait longer. After that we left as we felt certain that we were just being played and told what we wanted to hear. It was really disappointing, they wasted a good bit of our time by telling us that they had something they didn't have.

Terrible Customer Service . I was told 3 different times on 3 different days that someone was coming to pick my car up and no one ever came and no one ever contacted me on why. It's very messy and unprofessional.
